Chapter 15: HIS POINT OF VIEW

Raphael’s Point of View

I wasn't sure what had happened. Suddenly, Seah's behavior changed when she came home late at night.

I also noticed that her eyes were puffy and she came home very dirty. I thought something bad had happened but she said she's alright.

Now we're in the room. She's just quietly looking out the window again while our subject teacher was explaining an activity we were doing today.

I noticed Cedric stood up after our teacher was done talking and he sat beside Seah. I thought she would chase him away like she chased me away the night she came home, but she didn't.

She placed her head over his shoulder. I got stiffed and so did Cedric. He probably didn't think Seah would do that either.

I saw Cedric smirk and let it rest on his shoulder. Seeing that I just flinched my fist and stood up. I walked past them and saw Seah still closed his eyes.

I immediately left the room and decided not to attend my class further. I don't know but I was really hurt by her ignoring me.

I didn't know the reason behind it, but I didn't do wrong and she's just ignoring everyone for some unknown reason.

Third Person's Point of View

As the young man left the room, the girl opened her eyes and quickly removed her head from the smiling Cedric.

The girl couldn't understand why she did this but she also chose this way to get the young man away from her.

Although she was surprised, the young man Cedric didn't move either. Instead, he knew that the reason the girl was staring at his shoulder was because of Raphael's gaze at the young lady Seah.

"Don't worry," thought the young man Cedric and dismissed the possibilities that were forming in his brain.

Meanwhile, the young man Raphael was walking out of the school. He was quite annoyed and didn't want to go to his next subject for now.

As he walked with his forehead furrowed, someone suddenly bumped into him. At first he didn't pay attention to it, but later he realized it and saw a smile from a young woman who was now facing him.

“I missed you,” he said to the woman without hesitation and immediately hugged her.

“How are you?” In front of me was my best friend who I used to grow up together when we were still young.

“Still looking for a place to move, are you? How are you? Do you have a girlfriend yet?” she asked. I immediately scratched my head and smiled at her.

“You know I don't have that in my mind yet. Are you?” I asked him back. We're here at a local cafe near my school.

We never had a conversation for about a year after they moved out and lived in a big city.

“Ah! If only I didn't have anyone waiting for me, I might have a boyfriend now, hahahaha” she laughed.

Unlike before, when she was so tearful and so quarrelsome, my former baby best friend has changed.

She's already a grown woman and it's obvious that she's more careful with her body. I can't even see her smooth body anymore. She already had curves and all woman possessed when they hit puberty.

I immediately laughed at her antics. She also talked about what had happened after they moved out and how she missed me after that.

I never expected her to find me at school, actually. I was already leaving for the year, so it's a good thing I went out because otherwise we wouldn't have met.

“You’ve grown well, before, your just below my armpits! Now it’s still the same,” she immediately slapped me and we both laughed.

Although she didn’t really grow, the shape of her face has changed again. She’s even more beautiful and that’s because she takes care of her body.

“You’re so beautiful,” I replied and once again our conversation became enjoyable.

“You’ve become even more handsome! It’s impossible that you don’t have a girlfriend,” she asked curiously.

“Hmmp! If I were to find someone to be with in life, it would probably be you,” I joked, making her blush and slap me on the shoulder.

It's been over a year since we last saw each other and I'm so happy that we finally met and talked about various things and our lives now.

We spent the afternoon talking and even went for a walk afterwards. I took her around everywhere, we ate and bonded.

We also played where we used to play and visited the places where we used to hang out.

I had a great day and later I also drove her to where she was temporarily staying.

She even said that she wanted her new place to be close to us so that we could bond like before.

“I enjoyed being with you again,” she said and smiled.

“Me too, it's good to see you again.”

I said then suddenly she kissed me in my lips. I was shocked but I can't even get myself out of that kiss and let her kiss me.

“For once,” she said and walked away.

I was still stunned as I saw her leaving. I immediately took a breath and turned to go home. But what surprises me is Seah, she's walking towards me while carrying her bag.

“Ah! What are we just friends,” I immediately closed my eyes because of my stupidity. Why did I explain?

I thought she would react but she just passed through me and didn't even take a look at me. She was just like a Robot who didn't see anything and just passed me by.

She's walking pass through me and probably she's about to go to work again. I never knew what had happened but by the end of that week the color in her eyes had gone.

I didn't even had a chance to asked her aga

in on the balcony. Just like her first day in our house, she's gone back for being cold.
