Chapter 65: Second Prismatic Entry, Lifeform Ascension

"That's me. Who are you?" Roy asked, pausing.

"I'm Agueiss Himejima, from the Lion King Agency. Natsuki-sensei should've mentioned me," the woman replied, pulling out two business cards.

One was the Lion King Agency's, identical to the one Roy got from Natsuki Minamiya.

The other…

[Agueiss Himejima, one of the Three Saints of the Lion King Agency, contact info…]

Oh, her.

Seeing "Three Saints," Roy recalled who she was.

One of Japan's top attack mages, the Silent Breaker, who could strike from nonexistent time.

Her student persona in the source material was so strong, Roy nearly forgot she was a miko.

"You remember now," Agueiss noted, catching his expression shift. "Mr. Roy, I got a report that terrorists who attacked Jujutsu High were hiding here."

"Soon after, this area was sealed by an isolation barrier. Is that your doing?"

"Not me. The Brigade of Calamity," Roy said.

"Brigade of Calamity?" Agueiss frowned.

With Roy's exposure and Sazeks' large-scale probes, the Brigade was emerging on various factions' radars.

As a Lion King Agency leader, Agueiss knew of the terrorist group.

"Let me explain," Gojo said, approaching.

In minutes, Agueiss grasped the situation.

"Descendants of former Demon Lords… Seems the devils' golden age isn't so peaceful internally," she mused.

"Not my circus, not my monkeys. Let the Demon Lords handle it," Roy shrugged.

"If even the Red Dragon Emperor's a small fry, this world's absurd," Agueiss quipped, signaling her waiting team to clean the battlefield.

Her gaze returned to Roy. "Mr. Roy, Natsuki-sensei said you're interested in working with the Lion King Agency. True?"

"True, but I've been swamped, so I haven't reached out."

"Got time to visit now? I can show you our HQ."

"Let's go."

Roy nodded, waving to Suzuki nearby to coordinate cleanup with the Agency.

He hopped into the Agency's car, heading out of Tokyo.

The Lion King Agency, Japan's supernatural countermeasures group, had two branches.

One in Tokyo for admin and mission assignments.

Another in the suburbs, Takami-no-Mori, for training high-potential recruits.

Normally, Agueiss would take Roy to HQ for partnership talks.

But…

"I need a bodyguard for my secretary. Any recommendations from the Agency?" Roy asked.

"…Most members hang at Takami Shrine during downtime. We can check there."

After that exchange, their destination shifted from HQ to Takami Shrine.

En route, Agueiss steered the conversation, probing Akatsuki's status and Roy's true strength.

Roy didn't hide much.

Negotiations thrived on flexing muscle.

Without showing enough power, you'd get steamrolled at the table.

Learning about Akatsuki, Agueiss sighed. "I'd heard, but Toichiro Suzuki really joined Akatsuki?"

"Beat him a few times, and he fell in line."

"That's it?"

"Yup. He was cocky after waking up, so I tied one hand and beat him again. Then I dropped his wife and son's résumés in front of him. He got the memo."

"???"

That's "beating" someone into submission?

Agueiss's eye twitched, her view of Roy growing complex.

Threatening family—textbook terrorist move.

Natsuki had called Roy a law-abiding student. What kind of rose-tinted glasses was she wearing?

After a pause, Agueiss ditched the dicey topic. "Mr. Roy, I hear Akatsuki focuses on capturing cursed spirits and evil entities alive for HQ transport. Why?"

"So I can kill them."

"Kill them?"

"Yup. I like killing, but murder's illegal. Gotta stick to legal targets."

"???"

This conversation's dead.

Facing Roy's chaotic responses, Agueiss sighed, giving up on intel.

Whatever. This wasn't her job.

Meanwhile, Roy shifted to his entry vault.

The recent battle netted him a million cursed spirits.

Like before, most dropped White entries, with Greens dominating the rest.

Filtering and synthesizing, he turned the low-tiers into Blues.

Even then, his vault held over 20,000 Blues, dazzling him.

"Happy problem," he mused, pondering uses.

A few dozen would suffice for rewarding subordinates or boosting Rias and the crew.

The remaining 20,000? All for himself.

"First, a new entry slot."

Roy used 1,000 Blues to craft a Gold entry, burning it as material.

[Upgrade complete. Entry slot +1.]

[Detected 10 entry slots filled. New slot cost fixed at one Gold entry.]

What? That's a steal!

The prompt lit Roy's mood.

Slot scarcity had been a headache.

He swapped entries by context, but with his growing collection, he'd hit caps on same-type entries.

In the Haba-Creuserey fight, he had nearly 20 combat entries but only nine slots.

With enough slots, he'd have equipped them all, no need to wrestle for barrier control.

Just max output and one-punch everything.

Per the old rules, the tenth slot cost a Gold, but the eleventh needed a Prismatic.

Roy, with endless potential, knew Prismatics' value.

Unless he had ten Prismatics, he'd never burn one for a slot.

But now, Gold entries for slots? He could swing that.

Eyeing his stock, Roy crafted six more Golds.

[Upgrade complete. Entry slot +1.]

[Upgrade complete. Entry slot +1.]

[Upgrade complete. Entry slot +1.]

Prompts chimed as he opened six new slots.

Then, he burned 3,000+ Blues to upgrade Senjutsu, Soldier, and Energy Storage Physique to Gold.

[Senjutsu (Gold): Manipulates life and natural energy, versatile with deep mastery.]

[Soldier (Gold): Harnesses eight mutated Soldier pieces, converts race to devil, massively boosts physique.]

[Energy Storage Physique (Gold): Greatly enhances physique, energy storage +3000.]

Post-upgrade, Senjutsu's description stayed similar, but Soldier's shifted to "mutated" pieces, with a bigger physique boost.

Paired with the buffed Energy Storage Physique, Roy's base physique hit Demon Lord-tier.

He wasn't done.

Using the remaining 10,000 Blues, he upgraded Immortality to Prismatic.

[Entry ascension successful. Obtained Gold Entry: Immortality.]

[Entry ascension successful. Obtained Prismatic Entry: Eternal Existence.]

Two prompts rang. Immortality's name changed to Eternal Existence.

First time seeing this, Roy paused, checking its stats.

[Eternal Existence (Prismatic): The heavens may perish, but I endure; the sun and moon may decay, but I persist.]

Damn, that's badass.

The vague, bold description made Roy equip it.

A boundless vitality surged, enhancing every cell.

Combined with the newly Gold Senjutsu, his [Auto-Cultivation 9.0] efficiency spiked tenfold.

"Hm?" Agueiss, sensing Roy's aura shift, turned.

Her eyes locked onto his face, mesmerized.

So handsome.

His chiseled features seemed to glow with effects.

A blush crept behind her veil, her breathing heavy.

"Mr. Roy, got a girlfriend?"

"A few. Why?"

"Ever thought of adding one?"

"???"

Roy, focused on his power surge, snapped his head up, wary.

Only then did he notice Agueiss's entranced state.

Eternal Existence does that?

Locking eyes for seconds, Roy opened his vault, equipping You Are All My Wings.

After five upgrades, it boosted cultivation speed +500 and charm +500.

The charm was useless against strong foes, so Roy usually ignored it.

But…

Seeing Agueiss's breathing quicken, her gaze burning, Roy blinked.

This effect might be useful.

Lifting her veil, he revealed a flushed, pretty face.

"Mr. R-Roy, what are you doing?" she stammered.

"Checking your health."

Roy gave a cheeky pinch.

Didn't expect that. Quite the figure.

Clothing hides a lot.

But Agueiss drew a spear, radiating killing intent. "Red Dragon Emperor! You want war?"

"Back to normal already?" Roy mused, stroking his chin.

Big shocks could break the charm.

He was satisfied, though.

Agueiss wasn't ordinary.

As a top attack mage with time-based powers, she rivaled top-class devils.

If she couldn't resist Eternal Existence + You Are All My Wings, this charm could be a combat tool.

Stun an enemy for a second, and his sword could take their head ten times.

Thoughts racing, Roy grabbed the thrusting spear. "Dear Miss Agueiss, even pranks have limits."

"That's my line," she snapped, face dark. "Explain yourself!"

"Explain? You got all hot and bothered, wanting my comfort."

"You used charm magic!"

"Didn't."

"Impossible, you—"

Agueiss froze, recalling the moment.

No energy fluctuations, no magic tools.

She'd glanced at Roy after his aura shifted and lost it.

"…What was that aura?"

"No obligation to explain my abilities," Roy said, snapping the spear with a crack. "I don't like threats."

"For Natsuki's sake, you get a pass. Next time, no mercy."

"???"

Agueiss frowned, annoyed, at Roy's brazen attitude.

He hadn't used charm magic.

But her lapse was tied to him. He got the upper hand, yet she felt shortchanged.

"About your question," Roy added.

"I'm open to another girlfriend. Wanna go on a date?"

Date your head!

Agueiss glared, displeased.

After a stare-down, she lowered her head, coughing. "Mr. Roy, behave."

"No problem."

Roy grinned, pleased.

Testing confirmed it.

Eternal Existence elevated his lifeform, exuding a unique aura.

Those with lesser lifeforms fell to its charm.

It was genetic instinct, overriding even strong wills.

The effect was strongest at first encounter.

Agueiss, now wary, could stay rational.

Probably.

Sensing rising water elements, Roy reined in his aura.

Half an hour later, they reached Takami Shrine.

"Welcome, Red Dragon Emperor," a green-haired elf greeted at the entrance. "I'm Yuzutama Yuzuriha, Takami Shrine's head instructor. I'll help you pick a bodyguard."

"Lead on," Roy nodded, entering.

Yuzutama glanced at the car, puzzled when Agueiss didn't emerge, then followed Roy.

Minutes later, a soft hum came from the car.

Two minutes after, Agueiss stepped out, flushed.

No one saw, right?

Eyeing the empty steps, she summoned a shikigami to the back seat.

First… clean up.
