Ryker wakes up in a hospital bed surrounded by medical equipment and healers

Ryker slowly opens his eyes "Wha...what happened?...„he attempts to get up

"Please refrain from doing any movement„A medic says while examining his injuries as another heals up his wounds

The commander enters the room "Hello Is is that Ryker kid here?„

"Yes he's still recovering his wounds were pretty deep but we managed to repair most of them but some of his wounds seemed to have be fixing themselves„The medic says

The commander raises and eyebrow "What do you mean by that?„

"Well when were stitching and fixing it seemed as if his body was slowly healing itself...i really can't explain it because it can't be a regenerate spell since he wasnt conscious and his just a normal human so I'm not sure how that happened but we took some of his blood to test later because never in my 25 years of working as medic have I witnessed such a phenomenon of sorts„the medic says while shaking his vile containing Rykers blood

"That's...interesting...because when he was up against that dragon he was emiting some electric current from his body so maybe that had something to do with that„the commander rubs his grey mustache

"Maybe so...i might aswell just test now because this curiosity is eating away at me I need to know what's up with this kid„The medic heads over to a table and picks out specialized equipment and drops abit of blood on a small thin and clear sheet of glass and views it under a microscope

He notices nothing off or out of the ordinary with the sample of blood

"Strange...there's nothing abnormal it's just normal„The medic says,his gaze still fixed on the blood

"Now I wonder how that's possible...„the commander says

"But we should let him rest for now„the medic packs his equipment

"Yes,his been through alot„

They exit medic room

Ryker wakes up in a field of crosses and skulls

"The hell?„he says while slowly opening his eyes

He notices a armored figure made of shadow and gold armed with a music note shaped blade made of gold

"Who are you...?„Ryker asks

"I'm the embodiment of your soul„the armored figure says,it's finger poking the center of Rykers chest

"Wait...so I'm speaking to my soul?so does that mean I'm also speaking to myself?this is all so confusing„Ryker gets up and fixes his clothes

"Yes and yes„the figure says

"So does everyone have their own armored shadow?„Ryker asks while examining the figure carefully taking in every detail he can spot

"No,everyone's soul is different but not everyone knows what they're souls look like„the figure says while saying it's blade around

"That blade is really cool can I hold it?„Ryker asks

"Um yeah sure I don't see why not„the figure hands his blade to Ryker

Ryker falls to the ground the blade to heavy for him to carry

"Help...!!!„Rykers hands begin to swell

"Oh geez„the figure quickly picks the blade up

"Thanks...„Ryker exclaims his voice cracking

Chains begin to attach themselves onto Rykers body

"What?!„Ryker looks up

"Oh it appears as if you're waking up„the figure waves at Ryker who is now ascending into the air

"Wait I have more questio—„he jolts up from his bed,his tattoo now glowing gold

The next day rolls around and all of the enforcers are called in for a meeting at the training grounds

"You might be wondering why I bought you here„a head commander says walking back and forth her voice loud and clear

"I brought you here for two reasons and I'll start with the first one„she points at Ryker

"This young man yesterday showed what pure bravery and stupidity was last night when he charged at the dragon head last night with nothing but his fists and pure determination so can we give it up for Ryker Darkhaven!„

The crowd erupts into cheers,some high five and some shake his hand

"And now for the second announcement„

She clears her throat

"I cheif commander Heizen have organized a tournament of strength„

The crowd erupts into cheers and whispers

"Silence!„she commands,the whole crowd goes dead silent

"It will be a one on one style fighting tournament held in a few weeks on the 20th of July to be exact,it is not the 5th of February so you people have 5 months to prepare!you all may be dismissed!„she exclaims and waves them off

Everyone goes back to their duties and some stay in order to train

Ryker heads towards patrolling the town with Loki and another enforcer

"So tell me Ryker what lead you to doing what you did last night?I mean that was very stupid of you,you could've died you know?„Loki looks at Ryker waiting for an awnser

"I'm not sure...i just did I guess maybe the fact of me letting more lives being taken angered me to that point I guess„Ryker scratches the back of his head

"Don't lie to me you barely know these people why would you sacrifice yourself for them„Loki pokes Rykers nose

"Am not!„Ryker sways his hand away

"Kuro tell him his lying„he point at a burly dreaded ogre

"Erm me not know who to pick„Kuro says,his mind spinning in circles unable to decide

"Oh forget it you're lacking a few braincells anyway!!!„Loki raises his hands in frustration

"Aw„Kuro pouts his face

"Ugh....sorry I'll buy you ice cream„Loki begins to walk ahead of the two

"Hey wait up!„Ryker and Kuro say at the same time

The both gasp"Cool!„the high five eachother

"You two are so childish„Loki sneers

"Oh shut it four eyes„Ryker says

"Yeah shut it four eyes„Kuro snickers

"Can we just get back to work please?!„Loki shouts

"Ok ok cry baby„Kuro says patting Loki

They monitor the city and see hooded figure who looks similar to one of the raiders Ryker fought

"Hey you stop right there!„Ryker shouts,making his way towards the hooded figure

The hooded individual makes a run for it and Ryker,Kuro and Loki give chase as the run after the hooded man

"Kuro and Loki split up so we can corner him„Ryker commands

The two of them nod and go into different streets

Ryker eventually corners the guy as the reach a monument and Kuro and Loki appear,blocking his exit routes

"Just surrender and this won't have to be difficult for either side okay?„Ryker slowly inches his way towards the man

As Ryker reaches the hooded man the guy pulls out a pocket knife and attempts to swing at Ryker but Kuro tackles him down knocking a pouch out of his hood

Ryker picks it up and notices a strange blue crystal

"Hmm?...„his nose begins to bleed but he wipes the blood

They take the man to a enforcement base and turn him in for attacking a officer

"What's that?„Kuro asks his gaze fixed on the crystal

"I'm not sure but what ever it is it's dangerous„Ryker says observing the crystal as it reflects his face

"Why do you say that?„Loki asks

"When I held it my nose began to bleed„

"What how?„Loki takes the gem and his eyes begin to bleed

"The hell?!„Ryker exclaims

Loki put the crystal on a table

"See?!„Ryker points at the crystal

They huddle around it

"It looks like who ever touches this crystal begins to bleed but why?there has to be a meaning as to why that happens maybe it's a defence mechanism?„Ryker says

"Don't be stupid it's not a living thing„Loki sneers

"Maybe it has blood kink?„Kuro says

Loki and Ryker stare at him with confused expression

"We're gonna pretend like we didn't just here that okay?„Loki says focusing his attention back to the crystal

"Yeah buddy keep that thought to yourself„Ryker gazes back towards the crystal

"But now I wonder...„

The crystal reflects the sunlight
