Arthur jumped forward, trying to open the grand doors to the structure in front of them. When he failed, Ciel rolled his eyes and opened the door to the three of them.
When the door was opened for him, Arthur walked forward, not even glancing back at Ciel. His paws walked on the grand red carpet inside. The crimson carpet had touches of gold at the tips, Arthur's dirty paws stained the carpets.
Ciel sighed and walked behind Arthur, avoiding Arthur's footsteps. With Kou, who was in awe and staring all around the structure they were inside. And he was right to be in shocked at the beauty of the place.
As they continued on the crimson carpet, they were stopped by two guards; one dark skinned, tall and well built wearing a pure black tuxedo. The other guard was white and he was wearing the exact same clothing. He was shorter than the other guard, but he also seemed to be well built.
The two guards stood at the edges of the crimson carpet, the road was blocked by a golden chain. However, Arthur walked under the chain and he wasn't stopped. But the two guards stopped both Ciel and Kou from going past the carpet.
"Wait over there, you're not invited." One of the guards said, as both of them held their hands out to stop the other two.
Ciel grabbed the guard's hand and twisted his wrist, almost breaking it. "What do you mean we're not invited? You're gonna let us in."
The other guard lunged forward to punch Ciel in the face, however he was stopped by a voice. Arthur, spoke as he looked back. "They're with me, gentlemen. Let them in." With his command, the guards took out the chain and let the two of them through.
Ciel, with a smirk, glanced back while walking past. "Good boy." He said, looking directly into the guard's eyes.
"Holy shit, they've got a disco ball!" Kou yelled out, looking at the disco ball dangling off of a square structure in the middle of everything. There was also a sign on the square structure, the sign was all around it and it seemed to be digital.
"That's not just a disco ball, Kou." Ciel held Kou's shoulder. He also seemed to be surprised by it. "It's a pure gold disco ball." With that information, Kou yelled out even louder.
As they approached the middle part of the structure closer, they could read the sign properly. The sign simply read: "Golden Star Casino".
Surprised by the environment and the name, Ciel had a few questions. "A casino? What the hell, Arthur? Does Lohky want us to gamble our generation's wealth for her?"
Arthur didn't look back. He gave a vague and simple response: "You'll wish so."
The answer made Ciel even more confused, but he was also getting angrier as well. They were right under the disco ball and the signs by now. The casino split up into four corners. In the right corner, there seemed to be slot machines.
In the left corner, there were massive tables, crowded by people. Those said people glanced at the three of them walking forward. The tables were occupied with card games. Behind them, lied the entrance and exit.
But in front of them? Stood one blonde guy in a big chair with two other people next to him. He held a can of beer in his hand and looked over the casino. He wore a black leather jacket with touches of gold at the shoulders and at the ends of the jacket. He also was wearing three bracelets on both hands, all of them seemed to be gold. He was wearing two rings in each hands.
There, standing with the man, was another blonde man who seemed to be also wearing a black leather jacket. But there was also a blonde woman, wearing a similar outfit as well as a golden necklace.
As they continued to walk towards the man, Ciel was getting more nervous. "Hey kitty-cat! Do you think it's a good idea to just walk right up to him? He seems to be the boss or something." Arthur completely ignored Ciel and continued to walk, staining the carpet even further. When they stepped on the marble stairs, both the man and the woman pulled out their guns. However, the man sitting in the middle stopped them, as he downed his can of beer in one go and smashed the can. He then threw it away.
All eyes were on them. The gamblers and the security alike, they all stopped doing what they were doing and started watching the three of them walking. Hands on their belts, they were ready for any conflict.
The man smiled, looking around, he then brushed his hair and got up from his chair. "Who are you two? And, may I ask why you brought your pet to my casino?"
"Have some respect, Darian! I'm nobody's pet!" Arthur yelled out. To which, Darian was confused. "A talking cat? That's... weird. And how do you know my name, nobody's pet?"
Ciel kicked Arthur away and began talking. "Forget about the talking cat. We're here to collect your debt, Darian." Ciel spoke so arrogantly. To which, Darian chuckled and started walking down the stairs, towards them.
"That's ironic. Collecting debt from a casino? Good one. Since that was a good joke, I'll let you guys off the hook. Why don't you guys walk away and I let you live?" Darian said, cracking his knuckles.
"I don't think so, Golden Idiot. Why don't you just come with us? Or do I have to take you by force?"
Darian sighed, he seemed to be disappointed. "Okay guys, let's take this outside. I don't want to bother my customers with bottom-feeders like yourselves." He moved forward, spreading his arms across and pulling Ciel and Kou with himself.
Ciel, angrily pushed Darian's hand away and punched him in the face. Darian, however, wasn't at all bothered by the punch. He glared at Ciel, wiped off the blood from his nose, and continued walking.
The guards took apart the golden chain as Darian approached the exit, along with Ciel and Kou on his shoulders. Darian, then kicked down the door of the exit and walked outside. However, the door got reconstructed instantly after Darian walked out.
Once outside, Darian pushed both Kou and Ciel away from his shoulders. "You two are here to cause trouble, and I don't like that. You seem like a smart guy, Charcoal." He says, pointing a finger towards Ciel. "So tell me what you want, and I'm sure we can work things out between you and I. You know I have a lot of money."
"Finally, someone who speaks my language..." Ciel trails off and immediately, in a gust of wind, appears right in front of and throws out an overhand right, his fist coming down on Darian's face. "Obviously not!" The punch doesn't impact Darian much, but the gust of wind coming right after punch knocks him back a couple steps.
Darian stops his motion by putting his foot down on the ground. But the gust of wind shatters the window of the doors behind him, however the windows reconstruct right away.
Darian sighs. "Oh come now, I thought we could properly handle this situation like two grown-ups, no need for fighting!" He appears to be unaffected by the sudden punch.
"Are you serious? How do you even think you're gonna solve this situation? With money?" Ciel responds, his hands rest above his hips and he tilts his body to the side.
"Well, maybe not necessarily with money. Just tell me what you need, or what you want, and I'll try to solve the situation without any combat." Darian extends his hand forward, the emerald ring on his finger reflects off the sun in a way that makes it appear as if it's glowing.
"What I need it you to come with me, with us. A strange woman wants to meet you." Ciel smirks.
Darian's expression drops down, much like his hand. "A strange woman, huh? You lost me there, kid. I guess you're right, there is no way to solve the situation, except for combat."
Ciel cracks his neck, getting into a fighting stance. "Finally, we came to an understanding." Ciel says, looking back at Kou. Kou walks up right next to him and he creates a solid ice staff in his hand. Kou whispers into Ciel's ear, leaning towards him slightly.
"Ciel, this guy seems pretty passive. How about we just leave him be?" Ciel, looks back at Kou and whispers back. "How exactly do you plan to get the flame shard then?"
Darian gets into a fighting stance as well, he seems to be ready to lunge forward by the look of his feet. "This is your last chance, you two. I don't want to kill you guys, hell, I don't want to kill anybody. But you're not gonna walk out alive."
Ciel widely grins, ear-to-ear, he seems to be confident. "Bring it, Sunshine!"
