Long Ruyin watched Na'er, who was busily eating her food with great appetite. Her lips curled in relief, seeing that her daughter was finally able to enjoy her meal again.
"Are you feeling better now, Na'er?" she asked, gently touching the back of the little girl's hand, remembering how hot her body had been just a few hours earlier. Her voice trembled slightly, the shadow of worry still lingering. "Earlier… your body felt like it was burning. I honestly thought—"
Na'er looked up, pausing mid-bite. "Just a regular fever, Mom," she said quickly, but her eyes avoided her mother's gaze. Something was hidden behind her small smile.
"We were really worried, you know. Your brother Tianyu didn't even leave your side the entire time just to watch over you."
"I'm sorry." Na'er lowered her head, her voice suddenly very small. "I troubled you and Brother again…"
A warm hug answered her words. Long Ruyin embraced her daughter tightly, gently stroking her hair with love. "Nothing is more important to me than seeing you smile like this."
"I'll be more careful, Mom," she whispered softly. "I don't want to make you and Brother sad again."
After a while, the hug loosened gently. Na'er sat back down and picked up her spoon again, eating more slowly this time—no longer in such a rush.
After dinner, Na'er walked slowly toward her room. Her steps felt heavy, her mind overwhelmed by memories that suddenly flooded her consciousness. She now remembered everything—her true identity as the Silver Dragon King, one half of the divine soul of the Dragon God.
After a fierce battle against the Gods alongside the Golden Dragon King, she had chosen to flee to the lower realm in order to heal her wounds. At first, she had intended to bring the Golden Dragon King with her. However, at that time, the Golden Dragon King was in a berserk state, unconscious and consumed by rage. He continued to fight the Gods even though defeat was inevitable.
Na'er—the Silver Dragon King—had tried to take him away, but her own strength was nearly depleted. With a heavy heart, she was forced to escape alone, leaving the unconscious Golden Dragon King behind in the Divine Realm.
She had initially believed that the Golden Dragon King would be killed. However, the Gods were unable to destroy him due to his extraordinary regenerative abilities. Instead of killing him, they chose to seal him away. Though saddened by their separation, the Silver Dragon King at least found comfort in knowing the Golden Dragon King was still alive.
She then fled to the lower realm, specifically to the Douluo Continent, and found a lake that radiated healing energy. There, she decided to rest and recover her strength.
Due to the vast and limitless nature of the lower realm, the Gods were never able to locate her exact whereabouts. Eventually, they gave up their search.
The Silver Dragon King slept within that lake for a very long time. She awoke a few times over the years, and during those moments, she recruited powerful creatures to guard the lake where she rested. The first of them was Di Tian, who is now known as the Beast God by Spirit Masters due to his cultivation age reaching 800,000 years.
Although called a God, Di Tian is not a true deity. That title was given only by humans who feared him. Another name for Di Tian is the Black Dragon King with Golden Eyes.
Di Tian also recruited several other powerful beast spirits to help guard the resting place of his master.
However, the tranquility was shattered when the Silver Dragon King suddenly felt his connection to the Golden Dragon King severed. That could only mean one thing: the Golden Dragon King had died.
This feeling immediately awakened him from his long slumber. Rage burned in his heart. For the first time since he left, he truly felt a sense of loss.
He roared furiously to the sky, cursing aloud. After releasing his anger, calmness returned. He then discovered that the connection between the Golden Dragon King and himself was still faintly present—though only dimly—but he could sense that the Golden Dragon King was still alive and was also on the Douluo Continent. The Silver Dragon King felt a slight relief, then ordered Di Tian to follow him in searching for the Golden Dragon King's whereabouts. This event happened six years ago, when Tianyu had just been born.
The reason why the Silver Dragon King needed so long to find Tianyu was because the will of the planet blocked him, mistaking him for a subordinate of the gods assigned here. He himself did not know why the planet's will acted this way.
The deep feeling of loss suddenly awoke him from his long sleep. The rage he had long suppressed exploded instantly. He roared to the sky, shaking the surroundings, releasing burning grief and anger. For the first time since leaving the Divine Realm, he truly felt broken.
But after his anger subsided, he began to realize something. The connection... was not completely lost. There was still a faint trace left—a subtle, almost undetectable feeling, yet enough to make his heart tremble. He could sense it... the Golden Dragon King was still alive. And more than that—he was on the Douluo Continent.
A small relief crept in among his emotional turmoil. With new hope growing, the Silver Dragon King immediately ordered Di Tian to prepare. They would search for the Golden Dragon King, no matter how long it took. The search began, and this incident happened six years ago—just as Tianyu was born.
However, their search did not go smoothly. The will of the planet—the consciousness of nature that guards the world's balance—mysteriously obstructed their efforts. The Silver Dragon King was confused, as he felt he had done nothing wrong. Later he realized that the planet's will mistakenly regarded him as a subordinate of the gods who had come to disrupt the world.
He himself did not know why the planet's will acted like this, but it was enough to slow down his search. That was why it took years before he finally found a clue about the whereabouts of the Golden Dragon King, who had reincarnated as a human child named Tianyu.
After finding the clue, the Silver Dragon King and Di Tian rushed to Xing Luo city. But just as they were about to meet Tianyu, the world's will misunderstood and assumed the Silver Dragon King was bringing a threat, so it suppressed his consciousness as a form of defense. Di Tian, following the Silver Dragon King, watched this change anxiously but was restrained by the world's will. He could only stand guard, hoping his master would recover as soon as possible.
