Ch 16

Whitebeard furrowed his brows upon hearing the news.

He had been so focused on reducing casualties and increasing survival rates that he forgot how dark some people hearts could be!

Whitebeard slammed his fist heavily on the armrest of his chair.

"Pops, how do you think we should handle this?" Marco asked directly.

"We should just arrest them and teach them a lesson!" Diamond Jozu said angrily.

"No, this matter needs to be handled carefully," Whitebeard said thoughtfully. "Why don't we go ask Pryce for his opinion?"

"That's true. Pryce hasn't left his room for three days now," Marco said with concern. "I'm really worried he might be overworking himself."

The group walked to Pryce room together. Marco gently knocked on the door, careful not to disturb Pryce creative flow.

"Pryce, are you done? If you are, come out and talk for a bit," Marco said softly.

Inside the room, Pryce rubbed his sore shoulders. He took a deep breath as he looked at the talisman on the table, which exuded a mysterious aura.

The first basic teleportation talisman was complete! The difficulty of creating this was on a completely different level compared to the Senzu Beans. Back then, he had only spent a day researching the Senzu Beans, but this talisman had taken him three full days! Seeing his previously depleted points skyrocket by a thousand, Pryce felt that all his effort had been worth it. Just then, he heard Marco voice outside.

Pryce stood up, stretched, and opened the door. Seeing the anxious expressions on the three men faces, he looked puzzled.

"What's going on?" Pryce asked with a yawn.

"It's about the Senzu Beans. After we distributed them to the pirate crews under our protection, some greedy bastards started selling them on the black market," Marco said bluntly.

"So, Pops sent us to ask for your advice. After all, you're the one who invented the Senzu Beans," Jozu said seriously.

"I see," Price said, stroking his chin. "Actually, I expected something like this to happen."

"Marco, how much are the Senzu Beans selling for on the black market now?" Pryce asked curiously.

Marco had already done his research. "Around one million Berries per bean," he said directly.

"What?! One million Berries?!" Pryce exclaimed in shock. "If I remember correctly, one million Berries worth of materials can produce nearly a thousand Senzu Beans, right?"

Marco nodded.

"Well, here's the thing," Pryce said seriously. "As long as we distribute them, there will always be people who sell them. Why don't we just start selling them ourselves?"

After all, the price of one million Berries per bean was tempting. The production of Senzu Beans in his workshop had already exceeded ten thousand per day! With that kind of output, supporting sales wouldn't be a problem. If ten thousand Senzu Beans were sold at a million Berries each, it would definitely bring in a substantial income!

Marco immediately began calculating. "Alright, I'll go seek Pops' opinion," he said, turning to leave and find Whitebeard Newgate.

"Let me go with you." Pryce said to Marco.

Pryce directly took the teleportation talisman from the table and put it in his pocket, then headed with Marco to Whitebeard cabin.

"Hmm, I think this idea is great!"

"Since we can't control the circulation anymore."

"Then let's release it ourselves!"

After listening to Pryce and Marco, Whitebeard Newgate spoke seriously.

"However, Marco, those captains who have been found selling Senzu Beans on a large scale still need to be taught a lesson!"

Whitebeard frowned as he spoke.

"That's natural!"

"Just now, Diamond Jozu said this group is gathering on a small trading island in the north!"

"I'll go and wipe them out right now!" Marco was about to spread his wings and fly off.

Pryce immediately stopped Marco, who was ready to leave.

"Captain Whitebeard, the reason I came this time is to show you my new invention!"

Pryce proudly took out the teleportation talisman from his pocket.

Both Whitebeard and Marco looked curiously at the talisman, which was inscribed with strange symbols and exuded a peculiar aura.

"What is this?" Marco couldn't hold back his curiosity and asked first.

"I call it the Teleportation Talisman!"

"As the name suggests, this thing can teleport you to wherever you want to go!"

Pryce introduced it proudly.

Upon hearing this, Marco jaw dropped!

"Teleportation?"

"Instantly?"

Marco asked directly.

"Of course, this thing can save a lot of time!"

"Most importantly, it can teleport people and objects together!" Pryce stated directly.

This time, it was Whitebeard turn to be shocked!

"Teleporting people and objects!"

This was simply too incredible!

"Words are useless; you need to experience it for yourselves!"

Pryce directly handed the teleportation talisman to Marco.

"Silently think of the place you want to go!"

"Then channel your energy into the talisman!"

After saying this, Pryce placed his hand on Marco shoulder, and Whitebeard also became interested.

"I also want to see this 'Teleportation Talisman'."

Following suit, Whitebeard placed his hand on Pryce shoulder.

With a thought from Marco, the symbols on the talisman began to emit a purple light! The purple light then enveloped all three of them.

In the next moment, Marco, Pryce, and Whitebeard appeared on the small island in the north! Marco looked around in astonishment at the bustling market! Just a second ago, he was on the Moby Dick, and now he was on an island hundreds of kilometers away!

This was simply too amazing! Whitebeard was also full of surprise!

The travel effect was just too good!

Crossing hundreds of kilometers in just one second!

And he didn't feel any discomfort during the process!
