MRS MARIA JAMES
Since two days after I informed Maria about Kristen's visit during the weekend she has been nervous and I just over heard her talking to herself _ not that I planned on eavesdrop but her room door is a bit open while the lights are still on.
' How am I to face him when he comes or probably he's coming with Tina and Vanessa oh God am doomed_ I betrayed the only ones who truly loved me' I heard her say but that wasn't her fault rather, the asshole prevented her from communicating with her friends. He totally controlled everything about her.
"Still coming tomorrow" I asked Kristen immediately he picked up my call.
'yes bro, what's up with you it's late" he said.
"Sorry I disturbed but just wanted to inform you about Maria, she, nervous on meeting you guys"
'but why will she' he asked
"She thinks she betrayed your friendship when she became famous and all"
'but it's not her fault the scumbag restricted her, you should tell her that' he said
"She's very sensitive and I don't want to reveal anything to her yet by the way how's little Maria doing?" I asked about Maria Moore's daughter whom she thought is dead. I fear the day she'll find out about my actions by taking away her child thereby asking the doctors to declare her dead.
'she's doing great and always asking about you' he said I sighed, it's been a while since I visited her, actually since Maria Moore moved in with me I've not gone to visit little Maria but I know Kristen and my sister are taking good care of her. She leaved with me for some weeks and I took her to Kristen's the very day Maria Moore came to the James family mansion.
' Ed don't tell me you haven't told her about your feelings, come on bro it's almost two months you've been leaving together' Kristen said but I feel like punching him right now.
"Kristen! She's been through a lot and the least in her plan is to be involved in another relationship. I don't want to scare her away for my own feelings_" I was saying
' damn you're an headache_ you're only good in business strategies' Kristen said but I sighed well he has a point there am that good when it comes to business deals.
Early the next morning Maria Moore got out of bed and freshened up even though she barely slept at night. She got dressed in a black tomboy outfit then made her hair in a bun.
"Ma'am please don't fire me please, am a single mom and my kids depend on me please" Mrs Bridget said to Maria immediately she stepped into the kitchen which stunned Maria wondering why the chef is pleading she shouldn't fire her, then it pricked her thoughts which made her chuckle.
"Mrs Bridget no one is firing you be rest assured, am just cooking young master Edward meals for just some couple of days and I think today will_" she was saying but Edward James interrupted her " No you'll continue cooking my meals Mrs Maria James" Edward James said and if Maria Moore found Mrs Bridget's actions weird then what Edward James just said froze her.
