YOU'RE COMING BACK WITH ME

"Hello" Maria Moore said as she received a call from Edward James

Where are you? Edward asked as he drove out of Kristen's Villa.

"Still at the company, what's up" Maria replied not sure why he called.

"It's late Maria, anyways am on my way" Edward James said and hung up

Maria couldn't guess if he was on his way to her or somewhere else, she glanced at the time and noticed it's past 7pm which means she's spent two hours plus from the actual dismissal time.

She arranged her work and placed them safely inside the drawer before exiting the office, she met the security at the packing lot who was on routine check, she said her good bye as she got into her car.

Just as she drove out of the company gate a car blocked her part and suddenly two guys came out, Maria out of safety used the central lock and then sent a quick message to Edward James.

'Am in danger'

Main while Edward James has notified his personal security to go keep Maria safe just when he left Kristen with the thought of meeting her at her apartment, but the security notified him Maria wasn't in her apartment, that's when he called her, after wards asked his team to head to the company.

Seeing her message Edward James who was just ten minutes away stepped on the paddle not caring about the red lights.

As the two thugs tried get Maria out of the car after they broke the windshield a van stopped behind her car and group of guys on black came towards her taking the thugs on aware. But the one who remained in the car drove off when he saw his friends being beating.

Just then Edward James who was being chased by the police arrived the scene, he paid no attention to the officers as he ran out of his car towards Maria Moore.

At the point he saw her text message he wished he had super powers or some sort of supernatural powers_ he thought he'd loss her.

"Oh my God, oh my God oh my God" Edward James kept saying as he held unto Maria Moore tightly.

Maria Moore sobbed in his arms silently.

"Young master James" one of the officers called out.

Edward slightly released Maria Moore but still held her close before looking up to the officers.

" I had reasons for going against the law, take those two away_ by morning my wife and I will come give our statement" Edward James told the officers who were quite surprised to hear him say 'my wife' but after they took in the situation and the car which windshield is damaged.

"Alright Mr James, you can head back now" said an officer.

"Thank you" Edward James said allowing the officers to handle the two thugs.

"You're coming back with me" Edward James told Maria Moore as he held her close in the car letting one of his guards drive them back to the James mansion.

" How about Lila, do you think they will go after her?" Maria asked as she rested her head on his shoulder like it's a normal thing to do.

"I'll send someone to bring her back" he said.
