Peter Parker

Originally, Tony planned to install the smart butler for Raiden three months later, but he couldn't withstand Raiden relentless pestering.

So, Tony had to make time to visit Raiden new home. However, when Tony arrived at Raiden luxurious estate, located north of New York and south of Mount Vernon, his eccentric genius tendencies kicked in again.

Tony couldn't stop criticizing the designer concepts and the materials used in the estate various buildings. Finally, under Tony strong insistence and stubbornness... he succeeded!

He successfully fulfilled his promise to install the smart butler for Raiden three months later... because he had some of the estate buildings demolished... he wanted to rebuild!

Watching Tony, wearing a construction helmet, enthusiastically pointing out directions at the estate's entrance, Raiden could only sigh helplessly.

"Being rich is really something!"

Tony spent a week at Raiden estate, redesigning the layout and style of the buildings. Before leaving, he even complained to Raiden, saying that Raiden had wasted another week of his time.

OhMyGod!

In truth, Raiden didn't have so many demands, he just wanted to install a smart butler and live a comfortable life. But now, watching a group of workers setting up explosives in his home... his feelings were indescribable.

"By the way, Tony, when will my house be ready?" Raiden asked, catching up to Tony as he got into his car, ready to drive off.

Tony put on his sunglasses, pointed at the estate, and said to Raiden, "Don't worry, I hired the best construction team. It'll be quick. Bye Raiden, I'm really busy lately so don't bother me unless it's important!"

After saying this, Tony closed the car window and urged Happy to drive away quickly.

"Oh alright" Raiden could only watch helplessly as Tony car drove off. Then he turned around to look at the estate about to be demolished and silently made a call to Wayne.

...

"Hey, Uncle Raiden."

At the entrance of 15th Street in Queens, a little boy ran towards Raiden as he got out of the car.

"Oh Peter, here I brought your favorite pizza," Raiden said, holding the pizza and hugging Peter.

"Uncle Raiden, you're lying again. This is your favorite flavor" Peter let go of Raiden, took the pizza from his hands, opened it to take a look, and then looked up to say.

"Maybe we just like the same flavor" Raiden said, ruffling Peter hair.

"Seems like it!" Peter took a bite of the pizza and said, then looked up at Raiden and laughed.

Seeing the smile on Peter face, Raiden felt a special connection with the boy. He really liked Peter.

"Can you two stop standing outside? Come in!" Yinsen stood at the door, waving at them.

"Here we are!" Raiden said, picking up Peter with one arm and walking into Yinsen house.

"Just you and Peter?" Raiden asked, sitting on the sofa and glancing around.

"May's at work, so she left Peter with me" Yinsen explained as he brought two cups of tea to the table.

Raiden nodded, giving Yinsen a teasing gossipy look.

"You and May seem to be getting along quite well!"

"We..." Yinsen flustered, trying to explain but finding no way to defend himself.

He finally said sheepishly. "Maybe so!"

Seeing Yinsen reaction, Raiden stopped teasing him. Instead, he patted Peter head—wait, no, he patted Peter head—and asked Yinsen "What about Peter? Doesn't he need to go to school?"

Yinsen glanced at Peter, who was busy eating pizza, and replied.

"May and I are working on his enrollment. In about ten days, Peter should be able to start school."

"If you need any help, just let me know" Raiden offered.

Raiden had been living in Manhattan for a while now. Although he hadn't made many friends, but as the saying goes "A close neighbor is better than a distant relative."

Those "helpful" neighbors could still lend a hand when needed.

"Thanks, but the enrollment process isn't too complicated. What May and I are worried about is whether Peter will be able to adjust quickly to the new environment, especially since he's joining mid-term" Yinsen said with concern.

"Don't worry. I'm sure Peter is a smart kid" Raiden said with a smile.

Hearing Raiden praise, Peter seemed to remember something. He quickly grabbed a slice of pizza and handed it to Raiden.

Raiden took the pizza, took a bite, and asked Yinsen"What about Peter parents? Any news?"

At this question, Peter stopped eating and looked at Yinsen. It had been several days since he last saw his parents.

Yinsen gently patted Peter, who was looking at him, and shook his head at Raiden.

"May has made a lot of calls, but we can't get through."

"I'll have someone look into it. Maybe they've just run into some minor issues" Raiden said, though his eyes betrayed a hint of worry.

Recalling the last time he saw the Parkers late at night, he couldn't help but think they might have encountered serious trouble...

Raiden stayed a while longer, playing with Peter, then took a walk around the neighborhood with Yinsen before finally saying goodbye and heading back to his own home.

After Raiden left, Peter also parted ways with Yinsen because May had returned. Peter followed May back to their house and into his room. Peter pulled out a box from under his bed. Inside the box was a briefcase—the only thing his parents had left him.

Raiden returned to Central Park Tower, but he didn't go straight to his apartment. Instead, he visited one of his neighbors, a government official with whom he had a good relationship.

After chatting for a while, Raiden asked him to help investigate the whereabouts of the Parkers. The neighbor readily agreed.

The two talked about other matters and made plans to play golf in a few days before Raiden finally left and returned to his own home.

Standing by the window, overlooking the bustling city of New York, Raiden always felt like he had forgotten something.

...

Inside the Stark Industries building, beneath the massive arc reactor, a secret project was underway.

A group of engineers was making various modifications to the armor once used by Tony. They were also conducting research on the enormous arc reactor above them.

However, how to shrink such a massive arc reactor into a device less than twenty centimeters in diameter was a puzzle that left these engineers utterly baffled.
