In the distant past, before time was measured, the stars spoke in a language called Myrr—a cosmic energy that flowed through all life. It built empires, gave rise to gods, and kept the universe in balance. But balance never lasts.
Then came the Great Exodus. Myrr vanished. The ancient beings it once supported died out. In their place rose new rulers—cold, mechanical, and merciless. The universe became a wasteland of lost knowledge, watched over by machines of control.
Now, one man walks alone through the ruins.
Vyzen Arthora—bounty hunter, half-machine, built for killing. He doesn’t care about hope. He doesn’t believe in fate.
But everything changes when he meets a boy.
A boy touched by the Myrr.
A chase through dying worlds.
A prophecy hidden among the stars.
And a bond that could bring light back… or destroy everything.
War is coming. Secrets are rising.
And the truth is out:
The Myrr never disappeared. It was just waiting.
Hey guys, this is my first novel. You can read the synopsis; it might feel like a slow burn for the first few chapters( I tried avoiding infodumps), but just know the story is much more than you see in the synopsis. Let's answer some common questions; Is the Main character overpowered? - well, err, no. there are two protagonists, one is barely strong in the start and the other is quite notorious but still cannot be called overpowered. But they would definitely get strong enough to survive. Harems? No, but they do have potential love interests who may or may not develop later. Regular updates? -um no, wait, wait don't go 😭 lemme explain I'm currently unable to update regularly, but I'll try to update it every other day. Once I can update regularly, I will do so. My main focus is the plot, and I am writing this for myself. Thanks for reading. Chapters will be updated every other day.
Interesting premise. The 1st chapter with action immediately hook reader in. The grammar is ok and i dont notice any glaring mistakes as a non-native speaker. The worldbuilding feel wide and dreamy, but be careful though, if u add too many elements at start, it might feel a bit overwhelming. Few too many unknown terms at start too i think, but maybe that's just bcs i skim through. The characters so far feel alive and dialogue feel natural, but u're trying to build 2 mc,i think? it might backfire. Overall, a good slow-burn novel. I see author put a lot of effort in. Keep going!
The story is good. It felt that i was hooked from the first chapter. Although the language felt a little tough but it's overall good. Would love to see more updates from the author.
It's a pretty chill novel. I like how it was opened with some action, and we were slowly fed info about the story instead of it being an info dump. If your into sci fi space ship fighting books, then i advise you to give this a read, and if your arent then try something new!
