After the intense and exhausting tournament, Kael and the others were given a few days to rest before the next big step. They would soon be split into various guilds, each one offering the best training for the next few months. They had all performed impressively during the World Ascension Tournament, and now it was time to improve their skills even further.
As the group gathered together in the training hall, a large list of guilds appeared on their screens. These guilds were known for training some of the most powerful fighters in the world. For the next 4 to 6 months, they'd be under the guidance of top-tier experts, learning new techniques and strategies.
The air was tense as everyone stared at the list of available guilds. Each guild had a specialty: some were known for combat, others for elemental powers, and a few were focused on weapon mastery. There were a total of 10 guilds on the list, but as Kael and his friends scanned through, they couldn't help but notice something strange.
None of the members from Team Darkshade were listed as participants. Raven, Lilith, Veyron, and the random fighter named Fumiko were the only ones shown. There was no sign of the others.
Kael squinted at the screen. Where are the rest? he wondered. Why are only these four here?
Despite the confusion, Kael decided to keep his focus. The guilds were waiting, and he didn't want to overthink the situation. The moment they arrived, they had to make their choices.
One by one, the members of the group began selecting their guilds. Hana quickly decided on a guild that specialized in speed and agility, something that suited her well. Ryuu picked a combat-focused guild, one that would push his physical limits even further. Tetsu chose a guild that excelled in strategizing and tactical combat, a perfect fit for his mind. Eri, of course, chose a guild that specialized in crafting and enhancing combat gear, since she had a natural talent for it.
As for Kael, he chose a guild known for controlling raw energy, hoping to gain more control over his fluctuating powers. The thought of mastering his abilities further excited him, and he felt confident in his choice.
But something still bothered him. Why aren't Raven, Lilith, and Veyron talking about the other members of Team Darkshade?
It seemed odd that they wouldn't be mentioning anything about their team or how they were going to train together. As the selection process continued, they were the only ones who didn't have any other members from their team in the guilds. The more Kael thought about it, the more he realized that the connection between these guilds and the Darkshade team seemed a lot deeper than he had first assumed.
After everyone made their choices, the group began preparing for the journey to their new guilds. The last remaining question was who their leaders would be. However, it seemed that no one had any real answers.
