Chapter 6: Uzumaki Clan Exclusive Jutsu +1

"Uncle Clan Leader, did you deliver the letter I asked you to give to Grandma Mito?" Uzumaki Satori asked with a puzzled look.

If those two jutsu were included, the chances of victory would increase significantly. Though Uzumaki Mito was indeed quite elderly now and still essential to the stability of Konohagakure—making it unlikely she'd come personally—Satori still had the clan leader find an opportunity to meet her and secretly hand over the letter.

This also showed just how foolish the Uzumaki clan had been!!

In the end, their whole clan was wiped out, and their secret techniques ended up in the hands of Konoha. Right now, among all of Konoha, only Grandma Mito truly understood sealing jutsu. The others only had a superficial grasp. If Kushina were to go there, all the sealing techniques would eventually fall completely into Konoha's hands.

They weren't just killed—they were betrayed, and even had their family inheritance stolen.

To say Konoha had no hand in their downfall? Satori didn't believe that for a second. Konoha had probably coveted Uzumaki sealing jutsu for a long time, just waiting for them to die off to inherit it all.

"Yes, Lady Mito gave me something to pass on," the clan leader replied solemnly. Though he didn't know what was written in the letter, Lady Mito had gravely entrusted him with a scroll, insisting it must be handed to Uzumaki Satori.

"Where is it?" Satori said excitedly. If it contained those two jutsu…!

"Here!" The clan leader formed a hand seal—Summoning Technique!

A scroll appeared and was solemnly handed to Satori. It was clear that what Lady Mito had given him was no ordinary item.

Satori hurriedly opened it and found an apology letter written by Grandma Mito. And at the end...

He burst into joyous laughter. "Good, good! With these two jutsu, we have hope again!"

Jutsu? What jutsu?

Could Lady Mito have left behind forbidden techniques that would help them win?

The clan leader and elders quickly peeked over and saw:

'Multi Shadow Clone Technique' and 'Tandem Paper Bombs'—two forbidden jutsu.

Weren't those developed by the Second Hokage?

How could they help in this war?

"These two jutsu are exactly what we need right now," Satori explained seriously. By using shadow clones to harass the enemy, Satori didn't believe that if every Uzumaki ninja used Multi Shadow Clone, it wouldn't work to overwhelm them mentally. Maybe they couldn't produce as many as Prince Naruto, but together, they could create hundreds of thousands—even millions—of clones. Even if they couldn't kill the enemy, the clones could at least increase their odds of survival.

As for Tandem Paper Bombs, they could boost the destructive power of standard paper bombs while reducing the quantity used. With his stockpile of ten billion paper bombs, he could achieve the effect of a hundred billion.

A mass of shadow clones plus transformation jutsu could simulate a do-or-die battle. If they lacked numbers, clones would fill the gap. Then surround their standing ground with paper bombs and shout:

"Come on!"

"Let's fight head-on!"

"Let's fight to the death!"

Satori didn't believe the Mizukage would resist sending ninjas forward. After all, shadow clones are physical; without special dōjutsu, they couldn't be identified. At this point, Ao of Kirigakure probably hadn't obtained the Byakugan yet.

This tactic was bizarre—Kaguya-hime herself couldn't tell Naruto's clones apart!!

Of course, this strategy only worked well because the battle was on home turf. On other battlefields, it wouldn't be as effective.

Also, for sustained fighting, each person couldn't make too many clones. The pain from the clones had to be shared among many people.

Sweeping his gaze over the crowd, Satori said, "All of you must learn these two jutsu as soon as possible—especially Multi Shadow Clone."

This jutsu was similar to the regular Shadow Clone and likely not too hard to learn. Plus, because of their immense chakra, Uzumaki clan members could produce many more clones than average ninja. Maybe not as many as Naruto, but definitely more than most.

It was the difference between jonin and genin—only the Senju clan could compare.

"We absolutely cannot retreat!!"

"Our home and families are here. If we lose, everything will vanish. So please—I'm counting on you!"

"Lord Satori!!"

All the ninjas looked at Satori, who was bowing deeply, their eyes red with emotion. They knew he was right. If they lost…

"Now, each team leader will lead your squads and scatter throughout the forest," Satori commanded loudly. "Remember—we will win!"

"Yes—!" all the ninjas responded in unison.

As the ninjas departed one after another, the clan elders exchanged glances and looked at Satori.

"Little Satori, what do you need us old geezers to do?" they asked.

Satori looked at the clan leader and elders, took a deep breath, and bowed to them. "There's a very important mission for you. I…"

The elders, seeing Satori like this, knew the mission wouldn't be simple. It might even mean death.

They burst into laughter. "No problem! Just tell us, Satori. As long as it helps the Uzumaki clan and the Land of Whirlpools, we'll do it!"

"That's right! Don't worry—we old men have lived long enough. Don't be afraid, just say it!"

"Haha! Even if we die, we'll make Kirigakure pay dearly. Go on, tell us!"

"What's there to be scared of now?" the clan leader said, gently patting Satori's head. "Where's that bold Lord Satori from the council meeting? Speak!"

"Clan Leader, First Elder, Second Elder, I…" Satori took a deep breath, wiped his tears upon seeing their fearless expressions, and said earnestly, "When the strong from Kirigakure appear, I need you to stop them. Don't let a single one through—even if it means death."

Yes, even if it meant death. There was no choice—there were simply too few strong Uzumaki left. The older generation couldn't fight at full strength anymore. And without a kage-level fighter…

Reaper Death Seal—the Uzumaki clan's forbidden sealing technique. Sacrifice your soul to summon the Shinigami and seal the enemy's soul. They might not win in combat, but they could seal their foes!

"That's it?"

All the elders laughed loudly.

"That's fine. I've lived long enough. If I'm going to die, let it be worthwhile. I'll at least take out one semi-kage level ninja. Let them see—the Uzumaki clan isn't easy to bully!"

"Yeah! I want to seal a Kage!"

"Get lost! You're old and ugly. Leave the Mizukage to me!"

"Haha! The Mizukage is mine!"

"…"

Seeing all the elders accept it with such heroic laughter, Satori once again wept. "I'm counting on you."

"It's fine, it's fine," the First Elder said. "Just tell us what to do!"

Satori wiped away his tears and said seriously, "Hide for now. When Kirigakure can't hold back and sends strong ninjas to intercept ours—strike."

"Understood—!" the elders all responded solemnly.

Then the clan leader paused for a moment and asked, "So, Little Satori, aren't you going to assign anyone to protect you?"

(T/N: These Old Geezers were so cute ...)
