Chapter 4: The War continues

"Charge!"

"Don't let them live!"

"Show them the power of the Whitebeard pirates!"

Ace watched as the pirates jumped from their boats. Their eyes were fearless, and they charged at the marine soldiers, who did the same in return.

"Don't let these scum do what they want!"

"Kill those pirates!"

"Protect our jus-our island!" The Marines screamed as they charged forward with weapons in hand. Sengoku narrowed his eyes as he watched his soldiers.

He could see that they were shaken, and their morale was low. If this continued, they would not have the will to fight later, and Sengoku couldn't afford that.

"Charge forward! The banner of justice is behind you!" Sengoku screamed, and the soldiers seemed to regain some of their will as they ran faster at the pirates.

"Hmph! You know, instead of doing this. You could join forces with the Whitebeard pirates and destroy the world government." Ace said with a smirk as he looked at Sengoku.

"Shut your mouth! You already caused more than enough trouble for today." Sengoku said as he turned to Ace. The pressure from his body materialised, and Ace gritted his teeth.

Sengoku is not weak. He has been one of the top 5 strongest people in the world for decades. He could fight with Prime Whitebeard as an equal.

Ace did not think Sengoku would lose to a sick old Whitebeard. He had stamina issues and could not use his advanced forms of haki.

Sengoku must have advanced haki from all three types, and he also had a mythical devil fruit that he could use shockwaves like Whitebeard. Sengoku is underated.

The only ones on this island that might be stronger than the current Sengoku are Garp, Akainu and maybe Kizaru. Aokiji is debatable since he lost to Akainu.

Sengoku is Kaido, but without the psycho tendencies, and is a loyal pet to the world government.

'Damn! Why did this guy gather a hundred thousand troops and the Shichibukai when he alone could defeat the current Whitebeard?' Ace thought as he glared at Sengoku.

While Ace was thinking, the pirates and marine soldiers below him were killing each other without a pause. Helpless marines lay on the floor, dead, with pirates beside them.

Cannonballs assaulted the pirates, and the casualties increased compared to before. The pirate captains and the vice admirals also charged forward.

"Charge forward!" The Whitebeard captain charged and clashed against the vice admirals. The battlefield erupted in a chaotic clash, with blood flying everywhere.

While this was happening, a certain Shichibukai took his big black sword. The battlefield froze as they looked at Mihawk, who got ready to attack Whitebeard.

"HEHEHEHE! Are you going to attack him?" Doflamingo grinned with a seemingly permanent, unhinged look as he stuck his tongue out. Mihawk ignored him.

"I merely want to test the distance between him and my blade," Mihawk said as Yoru trembled in his hand. Whitebeard narrowed his eyes as he looked at Mihawk.

"YEHAHAHA! Looks like this is starting to get more complicated." Moria laughed as he watched Mihawk. The entire battlefield was doing the same.

Boom!

The world turned a shade of green as Mihawk swung his sword with a single hand. Ace watched as a green wave of energy slashed into the ice before heading towards Whitebeard.

Everything in its way was cut in half without resistance from the materials. A massive chasm that was all left behind as the attack neared the Moby Dick.

Whitebeard stood there as he watched the slash heading for him. He was not worried since he had his division with him. Before the lash hit Whitebeard, a figure rushed into the slash.

"HMMM!" Jozu groaned as he felt his body pushed back by the slash. His body turned into a diamond, and with a struggle, he threw the slash into the sky in a spiral shape.

 Boom!

The clouds in the sky dissipated as a massive shockwave that covered the island exploded in the sky. For a brief moment, everything was silent besides Ace.

'There is no way that someone equal to Shanks could not beat Jozu. He must be holding back.' Ace thought in his mind while looking at Mihawk.

Mihawk is supposed to be the final swordsman Zoro defeats to become the world's greatest swordsman. If Mihawk could not defeat someone like Jozu. Zoro would cook this fraud.

"Gu ra ra ra ra! Hawk-eye. Did your sword turn into a toy?" Whitebeard said with narrowed eyes. He knew that Mihawk did not go all out at the last second.

The power of his strike decreased when Jozu stood at the slash. The real reason Jozu is not dead is that Mihawk did not want to kill him.

Mihawk did not say anything but only put his big black sword back into its holder on his back. 

"Ohhh~ How scary. He blocked that?" Kizaru's voice was suddenly heard on the island. Whitebear looked, and Kizaru vanished from his seat in a flash of light.

Boom!

Hundreds of light bullets shot at Whitebeard at the speed of light, and Marco reacted instantly. His body morphed into a phoenix that burned with intense blue flames.

Boom!

Marco flew into the storm of light bullets and blocked them with his body. The light bullets punched holes through his body, but it quickly regenerated.

"Yoi~ Whitebeard himself can't be taken on first," Marco said as the blue flame son his body receded, leaving him in the air with only his wings. Kizaru stared at him with a scared face.

"Ohhh~ How scary the Whitebeard pirates are," Kizaru said with his signature slow speech. Ace looked at him like he saw the biggest joke in the world.

Kizaru is better than the current Whitebeard. His speed is much faster, his stamina is likely similar to Akainu's, and his attack power is only behind Akainu's.

Marco rushes at Kizaru, and the sky lights up like a constellation as they fight at the speed of light. Ace could barely keep up with their attacks using observation haki.

"Damn it!" Ace cried under his breath at his weakness. Letting out a sigh, Ace closes his eyes, and his observation haki spreads out.

Ace could get out of this predicament with only one option. Using his hax to their full potential and maybe unlocking his devil fruit awakening.

'I need better haki before being freed. And I hope to reach the minimum of future sight.' Ace thought with confidence as he closed his eyes in concentration.

Ace already understood his cheat. The first is Quick Mastery, which allows him to master and perfect any skill quickly.

This already showed as his Observation increased from barely being able to sense emotions to being able to feel emotions and predict attacks. 

The second cheat that Ace gained is Accelerated Development. The two might seem similar, but they are not. Accelerated development allows Ace to get better at a faster rate.

Quick mastery only makes him master skills faster. With these two skills, Ace knows he will not die on this island today.
