Sitara lay shivering on her cell floor with her cell mate whom she learned was named Perceval was siting in his corner watching her. Deimos had resorted to using sercilixa dúath to stop Sitara from using her compulsion on the guards. The sercilixa dúath were blood sucking insects that embedded their head just behind the ear of the fae. They release a toxin that prevent fae from using their abilities. The toxin they released also contained elements of the corruption which over time causes fae to become Ammit. Ammit are corrupted fae taken over by negative emotions and are unable to control their mind. While early cases can save the fae if it left untreated they loose their minds entirely and become blood thirsty rabid beings who stop at nothing.
Deimos watched her shake from the toxins coursing through her body. He had never seen a fae resist corruption as much as Sitara and the Czar did. Deimos smiled to himself. He had enjoyed getting into the mind of the Czar and breaking him down to let him do as he wished. Deimos looked at the neighboring cell and saw the long time prisoner glaring at him. Off all his captives this one unsettled him the most. He inherited this particular one when he took over the cells after the death of the Queen of death. He was surprised he hadn't died but he was never able to get much information out of him or get him to cooperate so he patiently waited till he did die.
"I see you met my little friend," Deimos says as he comes closer to Sitaras cell. He hated having to resort to such an extreme but her power of compulsion was extremely strong and she was able to get three guards to release her.
"This is nothing," her voice shaky as her body shook uncontrollably. Deimos smiled as he looked at her. She hated when he'd stare at her as if she was so interesting. She was trapped in a cell and was now extremely filthy how interesting could she be?
"You know for an unseelie fae you are extremely strong willed. I'd say just as strong if not stronger than the Czar," he turned to his large table that held various vials and needles. He picked up one that looked like liquid copper.
"The czar proved himself to all of thovur just so he could marry Queen Calixte. But I have grown to know him very well over the last few years and I can say he's getting weaker by the day," Deimos spoke tauntingly. He had turned back to face her now to see her eyes filled with anger.
"Do you see this?" He held up the needle he picked up from the table for Sitara to see clearly. She just stared at him refusing to answer him.
"I have tried and failed to make my army I need but you may just be my answer. You see this vial is from a Selkie while in the prime of her heat. Selkie heat is extremely strong they have to have sex otherwise their organs start to fail and they slowly bleed to death internally," Deimos stood just outside her cell as three guards opened the door to it and held her down. Sitaras eyes grew big as she realized what he meant to do. He injected the needle into her stomach as he stood up he pulled out another needle that looked like a liquid sapphire.
"This one is taken from a male Selkie also while in heat. You see both male and female Selkie experience heat and since I have two perfect healthy candidates I believe I will finally be able to start my army," Deimos injected the needle into Perceval's throat as the guards held him. Perceval and Sitara watched Deimos leave the cell they each looked at the other as they realized Deimos meant for them to have sex with each other and it wasn't going to be their choice. It was either have sex or die.
Deimos turned to look at them one last time and his eyes again went to the neighboring cell. This time the prisoner was standing up and looked like he was going to escape the cells. But both he and Deimos knew the only way out was with the keys and only Deimos had those. Deimos squared his shoulders refusing to allow the prisoner to affect him or see his reaction.
"Oh and one other thing you won't be able to resist the heat. It takes over your mind so while you can try you'll fail. They all do," Deimos laughed as he left. She felt a sharp pain behind her ear as the sercilixa dúath detached itself and left the cell after Deimos. She looked up at Perceval and scooted away from him. She had wanted to wait till she married before she laid with someone. But now she cradled her legs and put her chin on her knees. How her life had changed so much over the last few months. She hated that she saw that stupid vial being poured into the bath she hated that she tried to go and get help. If she could do it all over she would still go get help because inaras safety is at risk but right now she wished she hadn't if only so she could save herself for just a little while longer. It didn't take long before the Selkie heat took effect and pain radiated in Perceval and Sitara. Both fought it for 3 days before they couldn't take it any longer. But by then they weren't in their right minds anyway.
