Redwing Disciple

Linus was silent.

We kept walking toward the guild. Bob and I kept glancing at Linus.

"Why did you say that, Bob?" I asked.

"Yui told me a little bit about her work. One of them involves quest papers. Usually, a quest is signed by the commissioner and countersigned by the guild staff. But your quest paper didn't even have a single signature," Bob explained.

I see. That's why I sensed something was wrong with Linus's quest paper.

"And one more thing. The reason I said you were faking the quest was because of what happened during our confrontation with Cerdic. Don't you think you agreed too quickly when he challenged us, without even talking it over with us first?" Bob said.

Linus remained quiet.

"Look here, I don't mind if you want to join our party, but if you trick us like this again in the future, forget about asking for our help," Bob said, his voice loud enough that some passersby turned to look at us.

Linus sighed.
