I nodded. "Use it only when your life is in danger. Or come to me if someone bullies you. Understood?"
"Yes, Master!" he said, clenching the orb tightly.

We browsed for hours, and by the end of it, Yang Kai held a sharp Yellow-Rank Sword, a set of lightweight armor, and several basic talismans for defense and escape. I made sure he had a few healing pills and Qi-gathering treasures as well.
He looked at me, clutching the items. "Thank you again, Master…"
I ruffled his hair. "Just don't die before you repay me."
Yang Kai grinned. "I won't."
