The boardroom felt like a battlefield.
Hana sat poised, calm on the outside, while inside her blood pounded like war drums.
The senior directors sneered, their eyes dripping with contempt. To them, she was nothing more than a trophy wife playing CEO.
They made their move.
"Mrs. Kang," one director smirked, sliding a heavy folder toward her, "Perhaps you should stay out of matters you don't understand. This merger is complex. Better leave it to the men."
The room chuckled.
Min-ho said nothing, arms folded, watching like a bored king.Testing her.
Seo Hana opened the folder calmly. She scanned the documents—deliberately slow, making them sweat.
"Mr. Park," she finally said, her voice slicing the room like ice, "Are you always this sloppy? Or do you save your worst work for meetings with women?"
The room went silent.
"Page 16," she continued."The clause you inserted about the foreign acquisition... violates both domestic law and our internal compliance policies. Either you're incompetent, or you thought I wouldn't notice."
Mr. Park paled.
Hana stood, pushing the folder back across the table.
"Either way, you've embarrassed this company in front of me and the Chairman's son. If I were you, I'd resign before I make it official."
Gasps.Whispers.
Min-ho finally raised his head, a flicker of something crossing his face.
Was that... amusement?Or was it... respect?
"Interesting," he murmured.
Hana ignored him.
She had only one message today.
She was done being underestimated. From now on, she was the storm they never saw coming.
