CHAPTER 17: The Beast in the Suit

After the gala lights dimmed and the guests disappeared, Min-ho stayed behind.

His tie was loose, his patience thinner than ever.

Park Sung-jin waited in the VIP lounge, all smug smiles and arrogance.

"You've got guts showing your face here," Min-ho said coldly as he entered.

Sung-jin laughed."Business is business, Kang Min-ho. Your company needs investors like me."

Min-ho poured himself a drink, his movements calm.

"But we don't do business with filth," he said, his voice coated in ice.

Sung-jin leaned forward, challenging him."She was mine, Kang. Bought and paid for."

Min-ho's glass shattered against the wall.

In an instant, he had Sung-jin by the collar, slamming him into the marble pillar.

"You touch her again—speak her name again—I will destroy you.Not as Kang Min-ho.But as the heir to the Kang Empire."

Sung-jin struggled, his smirk fading under the weight of Min-ho's fury.

"She's mine now," Min-ho whispered dangerously close."And I protect what's mine."

Min-ho let him go, straightening his jacket like nothing had happened.

"Get out of my city, Park. While you still can."

Sung-jin stumbled away, shaken.

Min-ho stared after him, breathing hard.

What was this rage boiling in his chest?

Was it because of Hana? Was it because no one—not even his enemies—would see her as weak again?

He didn't have the answer.

All he knew was...

Seo Hana had become his blind spot. And that terrified him more than any rival.
