CHAPTER 23: Wolves in Silk

The Kang boardroom was a battlefield.

And today, Hana Seo sat at the head of the table.

Min-ho sat beside her, silent but watching.

The room was filled with Kang family members, senior executives, and shareholders—all of them staring at her as if she was a trespasser in their sacred temple.

"Effective immediately," Hana announced, flipping through documents, "I will oversee all subsidiaries linked to the Seo Group's holdings."

Murmurs erupted.

"That's not how it works," snarled Uncle Kang Dae-jung, Min-ho's uncle and a known vulture within the family."You're just a decorative wife, not an executive."

Hana smiled politely.

"Actually," she slid a legal document across the table, "as per the merger terms and my father's will, I am the majority shareholder of Seo Group and its partners."

Min-ho watched as jaws dropped.

"My position is not negotiable," Hana added.

She stood up, towering even in her heels, calm but fierce.

"If anyone has a problem with that... speak now."

Silence.

Hana turned to leave.

But before she reached the door, Aunt Kang Soo-jin's voice rang out.

"You're making enemies, little girl."

Hana paused, glancing over her shoulder.

"Good," she said, her smile sharp as a blade."I plan to make more."

As she left the room, Min-ho caught up with her.

"You're playing a dangerous game, Hana," he said.

"Isn't that why you married me?" she shot back.

Min-ho chuckled, both impressed and intrigued.

But in the shadows of the boardroom, the Kang elders whispered and plotted.

Hana Seo had declared war.

And the Kang family never played fair.
