Xiao wu bunny

Just as Tang Yin was about to claim a bed in the corner, a sweet and lively voice echoed through the room.

"Is this Room 7?"

A cute girl in a pink dress, with bunny ears perched on her head, stood at the doorway, her curious eyes scanning the working students.

"Ah—yes, yes!" Wang Sheng blurted, clearly flustered. He quickly scurried over to Tang Yin and whispered urgently,

"Boss! You should fight her to maintain your prestige... and uphold our sacred Room 7 tradition!"

Watching Wang Sheng stumble over himself, Tang Yin sighed inwardly.

"Haaah… are these kids love-struck already? They don't even have hormones yet…"

Putting his thoughts aside, Tang Yin approached the new girl with a friendly smile.

"Hello! I'm Tang Yin. 'Yin' as in silver. Nice to meet you!" he said with genuine enthusiasm.

The girl blinked, slightly dazed by his energy, but quickly recovered. "Hi! I'm Xiao Wu. 'Xiao' means little, and 'Wu' means dance," she replied sweetly, her eyes forming adorable crescent moons as she smiled.

Tang Yin stared at her porcelain-like face for a moment, slightly stunned. "The donghua didn't do her justice at all…"

Clearing his throat, he straightened up and put on a noble air.

"I challenge you to a duel," he declared seriously.

(Tang Yin had already figured out that Xiao Wu wasn't like other girls. She loved fighting—so what better way to impress her than with a spirited spar?)

"Our working students have a tradition," he continued. "Newcomers duel the current dorm leader. The winner becomes the new boss—and the boss must protect everyone here from bullying. Are you up for the challenge, Little Wu?"

At the mention of a challenge and a battle, Xiao Wu's eyes sparkled with excitement. Her impression of Tang Yin rose several notches.

"Absolutely!" she chirped without hesitation.

Wang Sheng stepped up and clapped his hands, acting as referee.

"Alright! A friendly spar. No serious injuries!"

(Tang yin had already decided to hold back and use only Tang Sect martial arts)

Tang Yin bowed slightly, raising his left hand in greeting.

"Tang Yin, Blue Silver Grass. Innate Soul Power Level 7. Please go easy on me."

Gasp echoed "what blue silver grass?" All the classmates were stunned

Xiao Wu grinned mischievously.

"Xiao Wu, Innate Soul Power Level 10. Heh—don't blink."

The Fight Begins

Before Tang Yin could respond, Xiao Wu dashed forward with breathtaking speed. Her steps were elegant, flowing like a dance. She spun, launching a sudden kick toward his chest.

Tang Yin leaned back, blocking smoothly with his forearm, absorbing the kinetic force. His Purple Demon Eye flickered faintly as he analyzed her movements.

"Not bad," he murmured.

Xiao Wu giggled. "I'm just getting started!"

She flipped back, using her momentum to launch a low, sweeping leg strike. Tang Yin slid aside using Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, countering with a precise palm strike.

But Xiao Wu twisted mid-air, wrapping around his arm and flipping him effortlessly with a graceful throw.

The room erupted with gasps and cheers.

Tang Yin landed lightly, narrowing his eyes.

"You're stronger than you look."

Xiao Wu winked. "Told you not to blink."

They exchanged several more moves—Tang Yin's sharp, technical martial arts against Xiao Wu's agile, unpredictable rhythm. Neither used underhanded tactics or external weapons. But their duel was fierce, captivating every eye in the room.

At last, both were panting slightly. Wang Sheng raised his hands.

"Enough! It's a tie!"

Xiao Wu pouted. "Aww, I was just warming up!"

Tang Yin chuckled and offered a noble bow.

"You were amazing. Brave and heroic—you deserve to be the boss. I'll fully support you."

His words were generous, and his tone sincere.

Xiao Wu blushed ever so slightly, her impression of Tang Yin growing warmer by the second.

(Haha… Tang San, I'll accept your wife graciously. I am truly a master of smooth moves… a glorious "cao thief.")

As Tang Yin basked in his small victory, a knock came at the door.

"Student Tang Yin!" called a teacher. "The Grandmaster has sent your bedding and a sum of money."

Tang Yin swiftly collected the items, pocketing the gold coins with a quiet thanks.

Meanwhile, Xiao Wu looked troubled. Seeing her frown, the other boys awkwardly offered their old, smelly bedding. But Xiao Wu's eyes remained fixed on the bed Tang Yin was preparing.

Without warning, she dragged the nearest bed next to his and plopped her bag beside his.

"Tang Yin! Your bedding is pretty big… enough for two, right?" she chirped innocently.

Tang Yin, well aware of her soul beast instincts and lack of human reserve, nodded calmly.

"Sure."

He laid out bedding across both beds, then stacked their bags in the center like a wall.

"This is the border," he said righteously. "Cross it, and there will be consequences."

Xiao Wu puffed her cheeks in mock offense.

"Hmph! Afraid I'll eat you?"

Tang Yin remained composed on the outside, but inside, he was sweating bullets. Still, as she looked at him with increasingly fond eyes, he couldn't help but feel… just a little proud.
