Tang Sect Established

The next morning, Tang Yin brought both of them along to practice the Purple Demon Eye. Although Bing'er was hesitant at first, hearing that even Huo Wu was already there quickly eased her doubts—she couldn't believe how fast Tang Yin had already captured her heart.

Rongrong and Dugu Yan scrunched their noses and shot cold glares at Tang Yin, who could only respond with a helpless smile. Both sighed in resignation and dropped the matter.

The others didn't seem to mind and welcomed the two sisters to practice alongside them.

In the following days, Bing'er and Yue'er also joined the group, dueling Tang Yin regularly. Though they couldn't defeat him, their battles helped sharpen his combat intuition and also inspired new variants of his soul skills.

After the evolution of his Blue Silver Emperor, he had been corresponding with Qian Renxue—disguised as Xue Qinghe—via letter. Although their exchanges had grown more frequent, Tang Yin had deliberately avoided meeting her in person. For now, words were enough.

A month later,

Tang Yin stood before the Main Hall—also called the Central Pavilion—built from stone and blackwood in classic Chinese style, with sloped tiled roofs and gracefully upturned eaves. This hall served multiple purposes: hosting meetings, conducting ceremonies etc.

Around it sprawled spacious residence halls where core disciples would live comfortably.

Nearby, towering martial arts towers stood tall, dedicated to intense training and sect's secret skills refinement.

Strong, sturdy walls encircled the entire sect grounds, providing solid defense. Expansive training fields offered ample space for dueling and practical combat exercises, ensuring every disciple could hone their abilities to perfection.

Tang Yin was satisfied with how the sect had turned out, knowing he could always expand it in the future if necessary. Altogether, he had spent around a million gold coins—covering both construction and the interior decorations, including fine furniture and training dummies

"Tang Yin, why is the emblem of your Tang Sect a muscular figure in a meditative pose, glowing like it's enlightened? Is there some deeper meaning behind it?" Rongrong asked curiously.

All the buildings were adorned with Tang Sect symbols. In truth, Tang Yin had borrowed—well, blatantly stolen—the emblem from the Body Sect. The reason is simple:

Tang yin wanted the Tang Sect to become a sanctuary for body-type soul masters from across the continent—a place where they were welcomed, respected, and nurtured. After all, body spirits held some of the greatest potential.

Tang Yin scoffed. "The original Tang Sect only accepted disciple with the Blue Silver Grass. Seriously—Are they retarded?"

From then on, Tang Yin and the girls began living at the Tang Sect. Though officially listed as outer disciples, the girls occupied the core disciples' rooms. Erlong also started spending most of her time at the Tang Sect, only making occasional visits to Lanba Academy.

Tang Yin possessed an immortal herb which was mentioned in the novel but absent from donghua—the Fiery Apricot Cabbage. This herb greatly enhanced fire attribute and also amplified soul power intensity. It was perfectly suited for Liu Erlong, because her limited soul power control remained a concern.

If possible, Tang Yin had hoped to give it to Huo Wu, but her martial soul had already reached top level. For Erlong, absorbing the herb wouldn't evolve her Fire Dragon but it would solve her control issues once and for all.

One day, Tang Yin called Erlong, Bing'er, and Yue'er together to present them with their immortal herbs. He first gifted Erlong the Fiery Apricot Cabbage. Erlong hesitated, knowing younger users generally gained more from such herbs.

"Erlong, this herb isn't about potential but about increasing your soul power control and fire intensity. Don't hesitate," Tang Yin comforted her. Finally, she accepted and absorbed the herb.

Next were Shui Bing'er and Yue'er, their anticipation palpable after hearing of the immortal herb's Heaven-defying tale—and witnessing Huo Wu's evolved martial soul, now stronger than Bing'er's Ice Phoenix.

Tang Yin smiled at their excitement and revealed the Ice Jade Spirit Grass, the only ice-attribute immortal herb he had alongside his Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass.

Bing'er's Ice Phoenix was already top-tier, so only her ice affinity and soul power could improve—but that was more than enough. She eagerly consumed the herb and began cultivating.

Meanwhile, Yue'er grew restless awaiting her turn. Tang Yin then produced the Azure Water Grass, the sole water-attribute immortal herb in his possession. According to its description, it could evolve her wuhun and strengthen her water attribute.

As the three absorbed their respective herbs, Yue'er's wuhun was the first to change. Inside her, the calm yet vibrant essence of the Jade Dolphin stirred.

The water around her glowed softly as the dolphin's form shimmered, crystallizing into translucent jade. Its fins lengthened, glowing with a deeper, mesmerizing blue—it had transformed.

Eyes sparkling with quiet pride, Shui yue'er murmured, "Tang Yin, I can now sense every droplet of water in the environment. Even with just a trace of soul power, they respond to me. Vaguely… I feel as though, one day, all water in the surrounding might fall under my command. My soul power has reached level 47."

Tang Yin was stunned, then a thoughtful frown crossed his face. I didn't expect Yue'er to be this talented, he mused.

At this rate, she might awaken her own domain once she reaches the Soul Sage realm. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he gently reached out, stroking her head with quiet affection.

Bing'er finished absorbing her herb and opened her eyes to see Yue'er being doted on by Tang Yin. She coughed loudly to interrupt the sweet moment.

"This herb deepened my bond with the Ice Phoenix and increased the purity of my ice soul techniques. I feel my body can better withstand extreme cold now. Plus, I have a higher endurance when using ice-type soul skills. Also—I'm at Spirit Level 47 now."

Tang Yin nodded, shifting his attention to Liu Erlong, who now radiated intense heat. She smiled in astonishment and parted her lips.

"My Fire Dragon's flames are more powerful, and my soul power control has improved. I won't lose control of my soul power when I fight anymore—hehe," she chuckled.

Erlong hugged Tang Yin tightly and kissed him deeply, much to the sisters' playful dismay.

Lately, Tang Yin had been wrestling with a pressing question: how should he approach Tang Yuehua? He wasn't sure how to do it. Despite his dislike for Tang Hao, Tang Yin didn't dislike her. Firstly, she was extremely beautiful. Secondly, she was kind-hearted.

So, Tang Yin decided to attend her classes incognito. And that meant tiring preparation.

One quiet afternoon, Tang Yin made his way to the auction house. The moment he stepped in, the manager hurried over and bowed with practiced respect.

Tang Yin returned a casual nod, getting straight to the point. "Tell me, how exactly is the noble hierarchy structured in the Heaven Dou Empire? I'm…uh embarrassingly uninformed, despite being an earl myself."

The manager straightened and explained dutifully, "Of course, Master. The noble ranks, from highest to lowest, are: duke, marquis, count or earl, viscount, and baron.

These titles are typically granted based on contributions to the empire—military merit, service, or allegiance. Their soul level also plays a part, particularly for soul masters who swear loyalty to the imperial family."

Tang Yin tapped his fingers against a nearby table, thoughtful. "Are there any high-ranking nobles who frequented this place… specifically those indulging in buying female slaves?"

The manager pondered a bit, then nodded. "Yes, there was one in particular. Marquis Lu Tianfeng. He's a Soul Sage—became marquis about seven years ago after he openly pledged his allegiance to the empire. Not very sociable, from what I hear."

"And his reason for visiting?"

"He came seeking rare treasures—mainly soul bones—to break through his bottleneck. But after failing to find anything suitable, he grew… frustrated. He vented by bidding aggressively on several female slaves."

Tang Yin's eyes narrowed coldly. Found You.

"Do you know where he resides? His martial status? Family?"

The manager nodded respectfully. "Yes, my lord. Marquis Lu Tianfeng lives on the outskirts of Tian Duo City. I personally delivered the female slaves to his estate. No known family members—he's said to be single."

Tang Yin didn't waste time. With a flicker of mental ripple, he extended his Telepathy, as he scanned for whereabout of Lu Tianfeng's from the manager's cognition. Finding the location, he vanished from the auction house and made his way toward the marquis's manor.

A lavish mansion stood at the city's edge, gaudy in design but protected by minimal guards. Within, Tang Yin's telepathy detected Lu Tianfeng drinking fine wine, surrounded by his "purchases." Without hesitation, Tang Yin pressed deeper—invading the man's mind.

Lu Tianfeng's thoughts laid bare under Tang Yin's psychic gaze: no surviving family, no wife, no children. A single sister had died five years prior. It was enough. Tang Yin altered his memories, carefully implanting the idea that Lu Tianyu, his long-lost nephew, had arrived to reconnect with his uncle.

Moments later, Tang Yin burst through the manor doors. The slave girls jumped, startled. Lu Tianfeng didn't flinch—his mind already under psychic control. He stood and clapped Tang Yin on the shoulder with a hearty laugh.

"Nephew Lu Tianyu! Long time no see! Ladies, you're free to go—I have family business to attend to. Hahaha—"

Tang Yin's gaze lingered on the girls. Their spirits were fractured, hollow from torment.

He let out a breath and raised his hand, gently placing his telepathic suggestion over their minds. One by one, he erased all of their dark memories—the pain, the chains, the shame. All of it.

Then, without guilt, he removed Lu Tianfeng's storage ring. Inside were around six hundred thousand gold coins. He handed the sum equally to the five girls.

"Take this. Start a new life," he said quietly. "Even if it wasn't him… someone else would've bought you. It's really a sin to be weak."

As the freed slaves left, Tang Yin stood alone in the manor of a puppet. A new identity had just been born—Lu Tianyu.

This man, Lu Tianfeng, would now serve him without question. It was punishment and purpose intertwined.

Tang Yin resumed his telepathic manipulation. Lu Tianfeng now believed Lu Tianyu was not only his long-lost nephew—but also his secret master. Loyalty was etched deep into his mind.

Publicly, Tang Yin would be seen as a nephew. But in reality, he would be obeyed without any question. Tang yin instructed to Lu Tianfeng who was now bowing before him respectfully.

"Prepare my enrollment into Moon Pavilion," Tang Yin ordered calmly. "Without raising any suspicion. Do so quickly."

Lu Tianfeng, now bowing low, replied without hesitation, "Yes, Master." With that, Tang Yin departed for the Tang Sect.

A week later, without fuss or fanfare, the new identity of Lu Tianyu was officially welcomed into the Moon Pavilion.

From now on, Tang Yin would be attending the Moon Pavilion each afternoon—a schedule arranged to suit his own specifications.

When Tang Yin arrived near the Moon Pavilion, he had already drawn attention of numerous women wherever he passed. They shot him flirty glances—some even had literal hearts in their eyes—How? Chinese Donghua logic.

As he stood before the perched pavilion, nestled high among willowy trees and kissed by drifting mists, Tang Yin couldn't help but smile faintly. Its elegant architecture seemed more illusion than structure—graceful, aloof, and veiled in mystery.

When he stepped forward to enter, two guards suddenly moved to block his path. Without a word, Tang Yin produced his identification plaque. The moment they saw it, the guards respectfully stepped aside, allowing him through without question.

Once inside, he found himself surrounded by a hall full of beautiful young women, gracefully sipping tea as they practiced proper noble etiquette. In the Douluo Continent, female soul masters were often stunning by default—soul power had a way of enhancing beauty.

Tang Yin, however, had long grown immune toward such beauty. He barely spared them a glance. That didn't stop him from capturing all of their attention. After all this was a love brain continent and his appearance was too lethal.

Manager Oudi, a rigid old man had been eying these beauty when he saw Tang yin catch all of their attention. He immediately grew jealous of all the attention he was getting so he decided that if this man didn't have a background he would certainly humiliate him.

The old manager strutted over with the smug expression all classic Chinese villains seemed to share. He looked Tang Yin up and down with obvious contempt and spewed.

"Hello there. What are you doing here?" he asked, his tone dripping with disdain. "Don't you know this isn't a place just anyone can enter? Only elegant guests and the official students are allow—"

Tang Yin saw the cliché scene unfolding and decided he had no patience for it. With a flicker of thought, he activated his telepathy, subtly altering the man's mind. In an instant, the arrogance vanished from his eyes.

As soon as Tang Yin presented his plaque, the man's demeanor transformed completely.

"Oh! A new student?" he said brightly. "Come, I'll take you to Miss Tang Yuehua. She always meets the new students when they enroll. Please, follow me."

The manager—apparently named Oudi—led Tang Yin toward an ornate, towering door and pushed it open without a sound.

Inside sat a refined beauty, her hair tied into an elegant bun, exuding grace with every breath. Her slender fingers danced across a guqin, weaving a soft, melodious tune that flowed like mist through the air.

The tune filled the room with a serene, ethereal atmosphere. The moment Tang Yin stepped inside, his mind grew still—his mental burdens dissolving like mist beneath the morning sun.

Inspiration surged forth like a tide, and new ideas for a variant soul skill bloomed with startling clarity—refined, powerful, and full of untapped potential.
