After helping Suzuki Seimei and the others check out, the supermarket clerk smiled and pulled a black lottery box from under the counter, placing it in front of the kids. "The grand prize is a 20,000 yen coupon, usable in any store in the amusement park—amazing, right?"
"Twenty thousand yen?!" Yoshida Ayumi's eyes sparkled. She immediately recommended, "Seimei-san, you're our lucky charm. You should draw it!"
Mitsuhiko and Genta voiced no objections, their expectant gazes fixed on Seimei.
"Then I won't be shy." Suzuki Seimei smiled, reached into the lottery box, gave it a good stir, and drew out a ticket.
Shashasha…
Under the wide-eyed stares of the trio, the ticket was scratched clean, revealing three large characters: "Grand Prize".

The clerk's jaw nearly dropped. Then, chuckling in amazement, he pulled the winning coupon from a drawer and handed it over. "Kids, you're truly blessed! The biggest prize in our store gone in one go. Have a fantastic weekend!"
"Awesome! Now we can have the best time ever!"
"I was worried about running out of pocket money, but now we can go wild at the amusement park and buy lots of toys!"
"Seimei-kun, you really are our lucky star~"
The trio looked ecstatic, already dreaming of how they'd spend the "huge money".
"Thanks, onee-san. Let's go!" Suzuki Seimei calmly pocketed the coupons and led Yoshida Ayumi and the others out of the supermarket. He turned to them with a casual tone, "What do you all want to play next?"
"How about we check out that game arcade? I heard they have awesome crane games and gashapon machines—plus some limited-edition Kamen Yaiba figures." Mitsuhiko pointed toward the game center a few hundred meters away.
"Limited-edition Kamen Yaiba figures?! That's amazing!"
"I wanna see too! Seimei-kun, let's check it out!"
Ayumi and Genta, both major Masked Yaiba fans, eagerly grabbed Seimei's arms, dragging him toward the arcade.
As soon as they entered, a rush of noise met them—buzzers, music, and the excited cheers of players. The place was packed.
Aside from kids like themselves, the arcade had a good number of teens and adults. Unsurprisingly, the claw machines and gashapon machines were drawing the biggest crowds.
"This place is awesome!" Yoshida Ayumi exclaimed, eyes shining at rows of claw machines packed with plushies.
Even Kurosaki Yuka, despite being seventeen, smiled happily. After all, she was still a young girl at heart.
The sheer number of crane games and gashapon machines got even Suzuki Seimei hyped.
In his previous life, back when he was known as "African Chief" (a reference to players with notoriously bad gacha luck), Seimei was addicted to gashapon machines. It was a gamble—a way to test his "fate."
But now that he had the favor of the "Golden Rule" blessing—a concept much like the luck of a Conqueror's Haki user pulling supreme-grade treasures or a Sage of Six Paths wielding divine fate—there was no need to fear.
The African Chief was dead. Long live the "Chosen Child of Fortune."
Surrounded by his three companions, Seimei went straight to the arcade's front counter and exchanged the entire 20,000 yen coupon for game coins. He then evenly distributed the coins between the five of them, and they each went off to try their favorite machines.
"Sister Yuka, let's start with this gashapon machine?" Seimei preferred the thrill of randomness to the skill of claw machines.
Kurosaki Yuka, as always following his lead with quiet grace, nodded with a smile. "Alright, let's try this one."
Click, click…
Seimei dropped a 100-yen coin into the gashapon slot, cranked the handle expertly, and out popped a shining golden capsule.
He picked it up, opened it, and inside was a folded slip that read:
"A-Rank Prize"
Please call me—His Majesty the Emperor!
"Sister Yuka, hold onto this for me. I'll open everything first, then we can claim the prizes together." Seimei handed the ticket to Yuka, then continued spinning.
Within ten minutes, Seimei entered full "God-mode." One machine after another fell before him—first the one he started on, then several more in rapid succession.
The top prizes—"Final Rewards", "A-Rank Prizes", and "B-Rank Prizes"—all went into Seimei's hands, one after another. All that remained were the cheap consolation knick-knacks.
"Seimei-kun, could you help us open a few too?" The three kids approached him with pleading faces, having seen Kurosaki Yuka return with a full prize cart.
Compared to Seimei, who practically radiated "Emperor's Luck" like a reincarnated Joy Boy or the spirit of Hagoromo, the trio felt like jinxes. They'd already burned through half their tokens and had nothing but cheap badges and tiny plushies to show for it.
Faced with their pitiful expressions, Seimei couldn't bring himself to say no. "Alright, I'll give it a shot."
And then—boom. With each spin under the effect of his "Golden Rule" passive, more grand prizes exploded out. He won them limited-edition Kamen Yaiba collectibles, keychains, mini-figures—everything they wanted.
By the end, Suzuki Seimei had officially become their revered mascot—an irreplaceable comrade and their personal Four Emperors-level benefactor.
Kurosaki Yuka stayed by Seimei's side as the day wore on, following the group from ride to game. As the sun began to set, she looked up at the sky, her voice soft. "Everyone, it's getting late. Time to head back~"
"(^o^)/~"
The three kids, backpacks stuffed with treasures, nodded like obedient little soldiers. It had been a great day—no need to push their luck.
"Sister Yuka, Seimei-kun, we'll head off first!" After their goodbyes, the trio left, smiling and satisfied.
As their bus pulled away, Kurosaki Yuka looked at Seimei and said gently, "Master, shall we go home too?"
"Well… I want a bean sack—!"
Seimei was mid-sentence when he suddenly stopped. His eyes locked on two figures in the distance.
A young man and woman, both around seventeen or eighteen, chatting and laughing like the perfect couple. The boy was sharp and confident. The girl, beautiful and athletic.
Seimei immediately recognized them.
They were old acquaintances—Suzuki Sonoko's classmates.
Kudo Shinichi and Mori Ran.
