Am I loud?

Lingxu wanted to use this evil spirit to kill his father from behind when he attacks his father. If the special ability of the evil spirit is strong enough, he won't even have to do anything to accomplish his goal.

The next morning, he started preparing things. After work, he would go to the storage room next to him and clear the space for the ritual. He also looked for cloth all around. When he finally found some, he would cut it into stripes and hang it around.

It took some time to gather all materials.

'Well, now only the key resource is left.'

The resource gathering wasn't long but since he could only do it inbetween sleeping, cultivating and wasting time being a mascot, it still took twelve days.

On the thirteenth day, he prepared things for the main material. Since he was around him all the time, it was easy to make arrangements for when he was needed.

When all servants ignored him, he would occasionally cause trouble, steal something, misplace things and so on, so that the resource was even more irritated. He also made sure to move around more in sight of others, making provoking moves.

In fact, he didn't act presumptuous, rather, he acted like a curious child. Still, this brought enough anger to the people who wanted him to suffer, so he was beaten four times the next few days.

The preparations didn't take too long, but he had to wait until the twenty-first night, so he extended it and made sure he was as annoying to them as possible.

Lingxu walked out in the dark. The day had arrived.

Just an hour ago, he was let go from serving, but now he returned back. He knew that children of this age would sleep early, so he wasn't worried.

As he was familiar, he was able to quickly sneak around the courtyard, arriving in his younger brother's yard very quickly. The servants that were supposed to guard the yard were sleeping. Just this morning he caused them trouble and they were beaten. The guards were shifted after that, and now it's night, so they had to return.

Thinking of the beating, they were of course unwilling to work hard, so the moment there was no sound in the room, they instantly went to sleep.

Lingxu approached them quietly. When he saw they were truly asleep, he walked passed them and soon entered the room. The islands in the eastern archipelago are relatively save and no one expects to be robbed, so they were all a reckless.

It wasn't difficult for him to enter the yard. Once he did, he rushed forward in long steps, still making no sound.

"Wha-" a voice came, Lingxu reacted quickly and jumped to the bed, pressing a handkerchief on the mouth and nose of the little brat that woke up.

'Fuu- no wonder he always complains we wake him up by sound, it seems his hearing is very good… well, no issue, just a better advantage for when he becomes an evil spirit.'

After saying this, he took his unconscious brother into his arms and walked out quietly. It seems the guards were much less sensitive and he quickly walked passed them.

'Haha, it's no wonder he doesn't complain about them sleeping, he probably can't sleep if they are too loud outside.'

He smiled and nearly jumped happily that the plan worked so effortlessly. Of course this didn't mean he was careless, he still sneaked around. With the cultivation his body became pretty strong, stronger even than the little brat that relied on medical materials to become stronger.

This wasn't a surprise – these medical materials would only assist mortals, even martial artists could at best compare to early stage qi refining cultivators.

When he arrived in his own yard, he made sure the door was closed before walking into a side room. This was a storage room with many things that weren't needed on normal days, such as beddings, carpets and others.

Inside was the space he cleared. He walked to the middle where there was a small construct. It looks a bit like an operation table, where one could bind people, just that it was vertical, standing upright.

'He's so heavy… well, my body is weak after all. Never mind, in the future I will have this little evil spirit to help me, there is no need for me to do things on my own.'

With a smile, he bound his brother on the standing table.

Then, he walked to the sides, where cloth bands were hanging on the wall. He pulled and stretched them until he finally was able to bring them close to his brother.

'Well, let's do it.' He didn't hesitate and took the first one, binding it around the right wrist. Then he took another strap from the left and bound the left wrist. He repeated this process with the inner elbows, ankles, forearms and finally came to the head.

Two straps were pulled from left and right, the one on the right bound the forehead and temples, while the one on the left bound the neck.

Lingxu looked at it and was quite proud, then realised the unconscious boy was gaining conscious from the rapid loss of blood, his body trying to alert him.

He just looked at him and didn't say anything, smiling deeply. When he saw that he was fully awake, he whispered quietly "Do you feel pain?"

Anger seemed to try and gather on the boys face, but he didn't even have enough blood to think, how could there be blood to make him red?

Instead, he looked funny for a moment before he started to become pale.

Lingxu whispered again "Does it hurt as much as the pain you caused others?"

The boy slowly became purple from the blood loss, but Lingxu didn't stop.

He whispered quietly, as if he was only blowing the wind "Tell me, is this how they told you also those bad things? How they told you to hurt me, to bully me, to humiliate me? How they praised you for all the sins you committed? How they revealed my deepest contempt for you behind my oh so dazed face?"

He smiled nearly maniacally and said loudly this time "Am I LOUD? Does it hurt?

DOES IT HURT TO HEAR THOSE VOICES?" then continued in a whisper "those voices that tell you what to do, what you can't do, which behaviour is right, which behaviour will gain the attention of your parents?"

Then he said in a very deep whisper "Lingyun, you should smile. You live so much better than your poor elder brother."

He looked at the tears streaming down his face, thinking to himself 'That was sooo… psycho. Well, the guide says that triggering their feelings will promote the certain effect and spell we want.

Ah, poor little brother, you will forgive me, right? After all, I am also a… well, I am not really a victim, anyways, the former Lingxu died, so you should die too, right? Lingxu died and I came, after you die, your soul will be reborn and you will become a little evil spirit.

Your memories will be gone as if they never existed, since you will become a new person anyways. Well, since he won't remember it anyways, it's not an issue…'

Even though he said this, he still felt bad and guilty, until he remembered that it was this person who killed his former self. He fought internally between right and wrong, in the end, he just ignored it and thought that this was the world of cultivation. Although he could keep his own morals, he shouldn't force them on others.

'The next person I kill will for sure die a quick death, I won't be so cruel as to torture them… I hope I don't have to torture people… so much work when I could have killed him directly…'
