Chapter 9 [Not completed]

'I don't remember seeing her, and something oddly seems bad.' Xien thought to himself.

He shrugged and didn't give it any importance.

"Can I sit here?" the girl asked shyly.

"Sure," Xien said.

She sat down beside Xien, a bit too close for comfort.

"What's your name?" Xien asked.

"Seo Yura," she said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Xien," Xien said politely.

"It's nice to meet you too," Seo said as she blinked her eyes.

Xien didn't know what to say.

He just kept eating his lunch.

Seo, on the other hand, kept staring at him with a blank expression on her face.

After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, Xien finally asked, "Is there something you need?"

"No, I'm just looking," Seo replied.

Xien felt a chill down his spine.

He didn't know why, but something about Seo made him feel uneasy.

He tried to ignore her and focus on his lunch, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she was up to no good.

"Are you sure you don't need anything?" Xien asked again.

"No, I'm fine," Seo said.

"Then I better get going. It was nice meeting you, Seo," Xien said as he started packing up his things.

"Wait!" Seo said, grabbing Xien's hand.

Xien froze.

He looked at Seo and saw a strange look in her eyes.

It was a look he had never seen before.

It made him feel uncomfortable and scared.

"What is it?" Xien asked nervously.

"I don't know what's happening, but I feel a strange connection with you.

It's like I've known you my whole life," Seo said with a confused expression on her face.

'System!' Xien thought but the System didn't appear.

"I… I don't know what you're talking about," Xien stammered.

"Please, just listen to me," Seo begged.

"What?" Xien asked, still confused.

"I don't understand it myself. But ever since I saw you, I've been feeling this strange pull. It's like my body is telling me that I belong with you," Seo explained.

"Me?" Xien pointed at himself in confusion.

"Yes, you," Seo said with determination.

"Are you sure?" Xien asked skeptically.

"Yes, I've never felt this way with anyone before. It's like we're meant to be," Seo said passionately.

"I… I need time to think," Xien said nervously.

"Okay, I understand," Seo said gently.

"Can we meet again after the remaining classes?" Seo asked.

"I…" Xien didn't know what he should say.

"I don't want to push you into anything you're not comfortable with. We can take it slow and get to know each other better," Seo said reassuringly.

"Okay," Xien agreed.

"Thank you," Seo smiled.

"Let's go back to class. I'll see you later," Seo said as she left.
