Chapter 26: "A Surprise Proposal"

As evening fell, Aurora woke up feeling excited and nervous.

She freshened up, grabbed her car keys, and headed out to a local jewelry store.

Inside the store, Aurora met with a salesperson and explained what she was looking for - a love-shaped diamond ring for a woman.

The salesperson showed her several options, but one ring in particular caught Aurora's eye.

It was a beautiful, shiny love-shaped diamond ring that seemed to sparkle with an inner light.

Aurora knew she had found the perfect ring.

She purchased it and headed home, feeling happy and excited.

Once she arrived home, Aurora decided to share her news with her parents.

She initiated a video call and broke the news to them - she wanted to propose to Luna and needed their blessings to go ahead.

Her parents were overjoyed and prayed for her and Luna's happiness.

They encouraged Aurora to follow her heart and make the proposal special.

Feeling happy and relieved, Aurora ended the call with her parents and immediately dialed her baby sister Nicole's number.

"Hey, Nicole! I need your help with something," Aurora said, trying to contain her excitement.

Nicole's curiosity was piqued.

"What's up, sis? I'm coming over right away!"

Not long after the phone call, Nicole arrived at Aurora's place, accompanied by her boyfriend Alex.

Aurora welcomed them with a warm smile and offered wine and cookies as they settled in for a chat.

As they sipped their wine, Aurora shared her surprise proposal plan with Nicole and Alex.

She asked for their help in coming up with a creative and romantic way to propose to Luna.

Nicole's eyes sparkled with mischief as she came up with a silly plan.

"Let's make it a fake hospital room proposal!" she exclaimed.

"We'll decorate the room with balloons and flowers, and put up a big sign that says 'Will you marry me?'."

Aurora and Alex were taken aback by the unconventional idea, but Nicole's enthusiasm was infectious.

They agreed to go along with the plan, despite some reservations.

According to Nicole's plan, she would call Luna and tell her that Aurora had been in a terrible accident and was rushed to the hospital.

Luna would rush to the hospital, only to find the decorated room and Aurora waiting on one knee, ring in hand.

Aurora felt a pang of guilt, knowing that Luna would be devastated by the fake news.

But she couldn't think of a better way to make the proposal a surprise, and she hoped that Luna would forgive her once she understood the romantic gesture behind it.

The next day, Aurora and Luna went about their daily routines, chatting on the phone and making plans to meet up at Luna's place in the evening.

But little did Luna know, Nicole's plan was already in motion.

In the evening, Luna received a frantic call from Nicole.

"Luna, oh my god, it's Aurora! She's been in a terrible accident and she's at the hospital!" Nicole exclaimed, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

Luna's heart sank, and she felt a wave of panic wash over her.

She started sobbing profusely, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

Without hesitation, she rushed out of the house and hailed a taxi, heading to the hospital that Nicole had named.

Meanwhile, Aurora, Nicole, Alex, Max, Leo, and Julian were all at the "hospital" - actually just a decorated room - waiting anxiously for Luna to arrive.

The room was filled with balloons and flowers, and a big sign that read "Will you marry me?" hung on the wall.

Aurora was nervously fidgeting with the ring box, hoping that Luna would forgive her for the deception.

Max, Leo, and Julian were all trying to stifle their giggles, excited to see Luna's reaction.

Nicole and Alex were busy putting the final touches on the decorations, while Aurora paced back and forth, her heart racing with anticipation.

As they waited, they could hear the sound of footsteps outside the room, followed by Luna's sobbing.
