068:- Lakeside Dallies

The lake in the castle was more of a really large pond, hemmed in by, rocks, pebbles and water-loving plants. There were various fountain statues poised scenically in and around the lake. A little girl with a flower teapot, some frogs, mermaids… whoever chose the style for the statues certainly had a specific taste.

A picnic blanket was laid out underneath a tree, and a short distance away, a flock of ducks honked quietly as they swam around together.

Alessio right away propped up pillows against the tree, getting comfortable on the picnic blanket. It made of a thick material and was laid over soft grass, providing ample comfort.

Silvan glanced down at the lazy Vampire Prince as he uncorked the bottle of wine he had brought along and poured some in one of the goblets placed on the spacious blanket, as well as a basket of snacks and more wine.
