Silvan woke up to the soft patter of rainfall the next morning, and his first thought was how his plans for fishing with Alessio would be ruined if the rain kept on.

It was already mid-morning when he woke up, which was very out of habit for him, but there were several things he had done recently that were out of habit for him.

He got out of bed to clean up, the steaming water welcome in the chill that had enveloped the castle from the rain that had no doubt gone on all morning.

He wore a simple dress shirt and over it, a thick coat lined with fur for warmth, making his way to the windows to draw open the curtains.

There was a faint foggy mist over the gardens, the weather pleasant and soothing, which explained somewhat how he had managed to sleep in.

The door to his room swung open to reveal Alessio standing on the other side, bright-eyed and swaddled in blankets. "Let's have breakfast together," He offered, waddling in.
