I’m the King of Horizon

Ned Russell had a son named James, a notorious playboy in New York. His reputation was infamous, as any attractive woman who caught his eye would inevitably fall into his clutches. Over the past few years, dozens of innocent girls had lost their purity in his hands.

Then, one day, while James was out carousing, a mysterious female killer suddenly broke into his life and, in the blink of an eye, severed his most prized possession: his manhood. The event created an uproar that reverberated throughout New York.

In retaliation, the Russell Family flew into a fit of rage, offering a reward of ten million dollars for the capture of the female assailant. But she had left no trace, vanishing without a single lead. As a result, James, once known for his flirty nature, was now reduced to a well-known eunuch, and his former reputation was shattered.

Recently, however, the Russell Family released an announcement: James was once again looking for love. Despite his disability, the announcement still attracted many beautiful women, as the Russell Family's prominence in the business world made marrying into the family an undeniable ticket to the upper echelons of society.

Among those eager to secure a connection to the Russell family was Kim Gibson, who eagerly sent a picture of his daughter to James. To his delight, James immediately chose her. But when Amy heard the news that she was to marry James, she immediately felt a wave of resistance. She couldn't bear the thought of being a widow for the rest of her life.

But after some contemplation, Amy's resolve softened. She realized there was no place for her in the southern part of New York, and even if she stayed, she could never surpass Queenie. Amy was competitive by nature and hated to be left behind. The Russell Family might provide her with the opportunity to exact her revenge on Queenie, and, of course, she would also make John kneel before her, forced to lick her shoes like a dog.

At that moment, John returned to the CEO's office. Queenie, already seated at the desk, was lost in thought. She looked up and, seeing John enter, immediately sprang to her feet, her face full of apologies.

"John, I'm so sorry," she said, her tone sincere.

John, however, wasn't angry with her. In fact, he had been waiting for this moment to tease her. With a dramatic sigh, he replied, "If apologies worked, why would we even need the police?"

Queenie was momentarily confused, but she soon realized he was just messing with her. She pouted, "Then what do you want me to do?"

She wasn't acting like the usual cold goddess anymore; now she resembled a playful kitten, and John could hardly resist her charm. But despite the softness in his heart, he maintained his composure and replied, "My heart is like a flat bottle. Do you really think a 'sorry' can heal it?"

"Flat bottle? Then just blow into it…" Queenie said cheekily.

John stifled a laugh at her reply, and when Queenie realized she had been tricked, she glared at him with mock anger. "You little bastard! How dare you make fun of me!"

In retaliation, Queenie grabbed a document from the desk and hurled it at John. He deftly dodged and said innocently, "Queenie, why are you hitting me? My heart is broken! You should comfort me."

"You're still pretending! Don't think you know my strength," Queenie declared with a teasing smile.

Before John knew it, she leaped toward him, and they ended up in a playful struggle. But in the end, John surrendered with a laugh.

"To be serious, John," Queenie asked as she straightened her clothes, her cool demeanor returning, "Is it because of you that the Duke of Southern River and the big clans placed orders worth hundreds of millions today?"

John nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, because I'm the King of Horizon. The Duke of Southern River is afraid of me, so he gave us the five billion-dollar order."

"Well, I must say, you've changed a lot," Queenie remarked. "You've become so eloquent. Weren't you supposed to be practicing on the mountain for fifteen years? Now you're calling yourself the King of Horizon?"

John faltered for a moment, but then quickly concocted an excuse. "Actually, I'm a highly skilled doctor. I cured the mother of the Duke of Southern River, and as a result, he wants to repay me."

"That's believable," Queenie said, accepting his explanation.

John, on the other hand, fell silent, considering how difficult it was to be an honest person nowadays.

Just as they were talking, Queenie's phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID and signaled John to be quiet. "It's Kate," she said.

Kate Williams, John's fourth sister, was a beautiful reporter who had been investigating a kidnapping case involving the King of Kampuchea. She wouldn't be back anytime soon.

After a brief conversation, Queenie hung up the phone. John, curious, asked, "What did Kate say?"

"Nothing major. She was just asking about the new product release press. I almost spilled the beans and told her you were still alive," Queenie said playfully, sticking out her tongue.

John chuckled. "I wonder how she'll react when she comes back and sees me."

Queenie smirked and replied, "I think she'll probably take off your trousers to check for the birthmark."

Later that evening, after leaving the company, the siblings drove toward a bar called 'Night Rose,' instead of returning to the Greenland villa.

John, with a serious face, said, "Queenie, I'm an innocent boy. How can you take me to a place like this?"

With a swift slap to the back of his head, Queenie retorted, "What are you thinking? This is Alice's bar. Didn't you say you wanted to surprise her? I've got a plan for us. Listen up—"

She leaned in and whispered a plan into John's ear, a mischievous light in her eyes.

John raised an eyebrow. "Queenie, I didn't expect you to have such dirty ideas beneath that cool exterior."

"Knock it off! Get out of the car right now," Queenie shot back, using her long legs to kick John out of the car. She then drove her Porsche into the parking lot and headed inside alone.

John, however, wandered around for a while before buying a beautiful bracelet from a street vendor. After twenty minutes, he made his way into the bar, where his adventure would take an unexpected turn.
