Lore of Bound world

The Book of Stars is older than most remember—and younger than the truth.

Legend says it was carved from the heart of a fallen star, discovered by the First Oracle under a blood-red moon. But the truth is darker.

The Book was made—forged in secret by the Crown's earliest rulers in a desperate attempt to tame the chaos of prophecy. At first, it held only possible futures, fragile as smoke. But over time, those in power demanded certainty.

They ordered their Oracles to speak only what was sanctioned. To inscribe fate as law.

Each prophecy written in the Book created a fixed point in time. The more that were added, the tighter history became—like a river being forced through a narrower and narrower gorge.

Now, the world suffers under the weight of a million unbending destinies.

The Order of the Inquisition ensures no prophecy is spoken outside the Book. No vision permitted, no fate challenged.

To speak your own truth is heresy.

To dream outside the stars is death.

But Eloryn is not alone.

There are others—called the Unwritten—who live without a name in the Book. Oracles who slipped through the cracks of recorded fate. Hunted. Hiding. Waiting.

The Hollow Spire, buried in ice and shadow, is rumored to be one of the last places not etched into the Book's pages. A sanctuary of memory. A birthplace of rebellion.

And it is there Eloryn must go.

Not just to find Kaelren—but to remember what the world was before it was bound.
