Me and Magic Circle kill each other

Shu Tu couldn't help but glance over when she heard Shang Wei's voice. Those two had been at odds for ages—odds were, they'd barely exchange two sentences before sparks flew. Sure enough, within minutes, Yu Yu's voice began to rise.

Here comes the brawl.jpg

Zi Shu and Fuyu, unfazed, were already munching watermelon and spectating.

Zi Shu's tone was icy. "Can you stop leaning on me while you eat? If you drip watermelon juice on my clothes, I'll stuff you in the washing machine and run a full cycle."

Fuyu, however, was fixated on Shu Tu, her eyes widening. "Shu Tu, you've got a spellcaster robe too?! You look stunning in it!"

Zi Shu, still deadpan, shoved her aside. "You're just noticing?"

"Does Shu Tu ever look bad in anything?"

"She could retire and still dominate the Hall of Fame for three years."

"No, I mean, I didn't expect her to look this good in a spellcaster robe. She's already gorgeous in leather armor…" Fuyu rambled on, gushing.

Meanwhile, Shu Tu was still eavesdropping on Yu Yu's argument.

Zi Shu's focus was, as usual, offbeat. "I heard Yu Yu say the robes have a permanent Cleanse enchantment. That sounds pretty sweet."

Shu Tu snapped back to the moment. "Xiao Yu said she'll try to snag a few more next chance she gets. You two can use them as pajamas."

The robes were indeed snug, warm in winter, cool in summer, made of some unknown material that was impossibly soft and silky. No wonder Yu Yu never wanted to take hers off.

By now, Yu Yu and Shang Wei had traded insults spanning eight generations. Yu Yu's face was sour. "Spit it out or get lost. Keep pissing me off, and I swear, I'll hit high-tier tomorrow and come find you for a real-life showdown."

Shang Wei's excitement cooled slightly, replaced by utter shock. "You're about to hit high-tier?!"

Click to witness Shang Wei's meltdown.jpg

Yu Yu smirked, saying nothing.

It took Shang Wei a while to regain her composure. "Do you have a Bronze Artifact?"

Yu Yu didn't hesitate. "Nope."

Shang Wei's grin returned. "Well, I do."

Yu Yu: "?"

Shang Wei: "If you bring Su Shu back, I'll graciously let you crash at my place too."

Her tone was smug. "I found a Bronze Leaf. The Federation doesn't know—I've kept it off their radar. You get what I'm saying."

"Zhong Ye and Xiang Qin are here too. Safety's guaranteed."

Sure, the process hadn't been pleasant, but Su Shu had helped her a lot back then. Even Shang Wei couldn't find fault with her. She'd reluctantly allied with Su Shu, but Su Shu was quirky and hard to get close to, preferring to stick with Yu Yu.

Yu Yu latched onto the key detail. "Bronze… Leaf?"

Shang Wei's lips curved upward. "You got it."

Yu Yu: "…Let me think about it."

Shang Wei hung up triumphantly, rolling across her bed.

Nope, still too thrilled. Time to check on Mom!

Fuyu: "What? A Bronze Leaf? It's not part of the same set as our fragments, is it?"

Yu Yu: "No clue. What do you guys think?"

Shu Tu frowned. "Why's she so… giddy today?"

From what she knew of Shang Wei, the woman wouldn't drag out a fight with Yu Yu this long unless she was buzzing with excitement. Shang Wei loved her snark, but her temper was a glaring flaw—Yu Yu could break her in a few sentences. To keep coming back for more, she had to be in a great mood.

Yu Yu: "…Didn't ask. Who cares?"

Shu Tu took a deep breath. "I'll ask."

Zi Shu: "She made up with you?"

Yu Yu snorted. "Barely."

From a utilitarian perspective, Shang Wei had some value. Ruthless and sharp, she wasn't just a spellcaster but boasted dual 8s in Will and Spirit—a potent asset if used right.

The Grand Archon's appointment had shifted Yu Yu's perspective. The Magic Circle's spellcasters were far beyond Yu Yu's command as a junior, and the Federation's restrictions tied her hands. If she wanted to wield real power, players were the best bet. They were just starting to grasp their strength. They came from all corners, unbound by loyalties. For now, they lacked the scheming complexity of the Federation or the Magic Circle. If the Federation and Magic Circle could use players, why couldn't Yu Yu?

With her growing reputation among players, boosted by the Federation and Magic Circle, she had to keep expanding her influence, waiting for the right moment…

A guild was a solid idea, but as part of the Spellcaster Corps, forming one now might raise eyebrows with the Federation and Magic Circle. She'd have to bide her time. For now, she needed reliable player allies. Her teammates were a given, but she urgently needed dependable spellcaster players. Spellcasters held a unique status, and as the strongest player spellcaster, it was absurd that Yu Yu had no real power.

After some calculation, her sights landed on Shang Wei. The woman's reputation wasn't great, but she didn't care about fame and had a laser-focused goal.

Spirit 8, Will 8.

She was a former teammate, with Shu Tu, Xiang Qin, and others as buffers. And by sheer luck, she was in Rong City. With the right moves, Yu Yu could have her in the palm of her hand. Even better, Shang Wei was her enemy and hardly a saint—scheming against her came with zero guilt. She was the perfect tool, delivered by fate.

All Yu Yu needed was the right opportunity. With such prospects, Yu Yu could let bygones be bygones. Relishing the thought of Shang Wei's inevitable downfall, Yu Yu logged back in with a grin. Cram sessions. More cram sessions. Endless cram sessions. The entire Spellcaster Corps was in study hell. For many spellcaster players, it was their first time being taught by so many high-tier spellcasters. They were moved to tears.

But after a couple of days…

[I ate without washing dishes] was frothing at the mouth. "…I can't take it anymore! I'm done for!"

Yu Yu's lessons were different—more, harder, and on a whole other level.

Her eyes swirled like mosquito coils. "Senior… I'm so tired. I just wanna sleep…"

After half a month, she wasn't sure if the others were still alive, but she was teetering on the edge. Less than six hours of sleep a night, lessons all day, lessons haunting her dreams. Waking up to either Senior Meng or a room full of books, she was living on the brink of collapse, ready to ascend to the afterlife any moment.

Meng was still unimpressed. "You're the deputy commander. Of course your training's different. This is just the basics—you're miles behind the Spellcaster Corps."

Yu Yu knew she meant the Silver Moon Spellcaster Corps, the First Corps. Good grief, that was the corps led by the Grand Archon herself. How could she compare?

Even Senior Meng was just a small fry in the First Corps.

Yu Yu clutched Meng's sleeve. "I'm gonna drop dead. I'm done…"

When Meng switched to serious mode, she became downright inhuman, devoid of sympathy and brutally cold. Yu Yu half-suspected she'd activated Void Reason—too damn heartless.

Meng sighed. "Fine. I thought it was manageable. Once you hit high-tier, you should last longer."

Yu Yu was already sprawled on the carpet, barely breathing.

Meng glanced at the door. "Huh, weren't you lot supposed to be out tomorrow? Why're you back so early?"

A familiar, cool voice approached with steady footsteps.

"I requested an early release from Her Excellency."

Yu Yu's senses pinged. Still sprawled, she shifted to look up.

Wolfie!!!

Yu Yu lit up. "Senior!!! You're back!!! Are you staying?!"

Felix, slightly puzzled, stepped closer. "What's with her?"

Meng huffed. "You show up, and she's suddenly all chipper. Clearly not tired enough."

"Barely half a month, and she's whining about dying, moaning to me every day. Embarrassing."

Felix, perfectly at ease, looked like she'd returned home.

Well, she had. This was the Second Corps' base, third floor.

The others were suffering too, dragged into intensive lessons by high-tier spellcasters. Yu Yu had it worse, tormented by her seniors and Meng, with the Grand Archon and Senior Chang occasionally joining in for kicks.

The past half-month had been pure misery.

Felix: "I'll head back in a while. Not sure when."

Who knew how long this campaign would last?

The Magic Circle was well-prepared, but outsiders were a wild card.

Felix, eyeing Yu Yu's wilted state, patted her head. "How's the studying going?"

Still sprawled shamelessly on the carpet, Yu Yu groaned, "Mastered it perfectly."

Meng: "Learned it averagely. So young, yet lazier than me."

Felix nodded, understanding.

Yu Yu kept groaning, "Nonsense, I learned it great…"

She tried to salvage her dignity. Meng rolled her eyes and soon started chatting with Felix. Felix sat down, answering Meng's questions earnestly, every bit the studious wolf.

Yu Yu's spell alert triggered.

She got it instantly.

Big Wolfie was here.

Her spell alert was good against amateurs, not pros.

Oh, and useless against spellcasters. According to Meng, it was so obvious anyone could spot it—a total flop.

Yu Yu had tinkered with it in her spare time, improving it from being detectable by the Duchess to only high-tier spellcasters. But still, no dice against the likes of her seniors. Like when Felix walked in—Yu Yu had no clue.

But if [I ate without washing dishes] or the others skipped class, Yu Yu would know.

Soon, a silver-haired beauty bounded upstairs. "Oh? You done with class? Don't mind me… Felix?!?"

"Why didn't you come find me first?!"

Felix didn't even turn. "Quiet."

The Duchess's silver hair started to glow. Angry wolf.

Moments later, she spotted Yu Yu on the floor and smirked. "Yu Yu, you holding up?"

Yu Yu looked up.

The Duchess sensed something and nimbly dodged. This building was the Second Corps' base, equipped with their spell arrays. They couldn't compare to the First Corps next door, but for ambushing a wolf, they were spot-on. Yu Yu had learned to control these arrays from her seniors, giving her a slight home-field advantage. Sadly, the wolf had wised up after one hit, darting around too fast to catch.

Yu Yu instinctively got up, zeroing in on the wolf. Felix glanced at her, then continued, "Why did the teacher make her commander?"

Meng shrugged. "How should I know? The Grand Archon's mind is beyond me."

Felix frowned deeply. "She loves manipulating people."

Meng didn't dare touch that one, watching Yu Yu chase the wolf. Yu Yu stealthily activated the third floor's group slowdown array, then the lightning strike array, ready to give the wolf a shock. The Duchess's feet lifted off the ground.

Yu Yu: "!!! How're you flying? You're not a Wind Singer!"

The Duchess sneered. "Silver Moon Sky Wolves can fly naturally. I'm not cheating."

Racial talents weren't cheating, duh.

Yu Yu: "Then why'd you pretend you couldn't fly before?!"

"Gotta keep some secrets."

The slowdown failed, and the lightning wouldn't hit. Yu Yu was fuming. She activated every array on the floor. One had to land. The Duchess dodged left and right, light as a feather, maddeningly agile. Yu Yu calculated, setting a trap. The room wasn't big, and the Duchess wouldn't dare wreck the decor. Her paths were predictable.

Heh, just one zap. One.

Zzt!

Smoking wolf.jpg

The Duchess froze, staring at Yu Yu in disbelief.

Yu Yu smiled primly. "Duchess, you're so fast, but you accidentally ran under the lightning."

She feigned concern. "You okay? Need me to brush your fur?"

She whipped out a comb, her tone pure provocation. Nearby, the Grand Archon paused her work, her mood oddly complex. Fu Fu had been sneaking off to play with Yu Yu for half a month, never coming back. She'd better be rallying the Second Corps, not just goofing off with Yu Yu.

So childish. So dumb.

What an embarrassing pup—a high-tier warrior actually zapped by Yu Yu's crude array. Sure, it was indoors, and she was off-guard, but still a dumb pup. Imagining the pup's frazzled, singed fur, the Grand Archon let out an uncharitable chuckle.

Felix's expression was equally complex. That array was Yu Yu's own work, not even Meng's.

How embarrassing.

Her look made it crystal clear to the Duchess. The Duchess nearly shifted to her true form in rage. "Yu Yu!!!"

Yu Yu crowed, "You lost, deal with it. Wanna bite me?"

Mid-taunt, she noticed the room was too quiet. "Seniors, why're you so quiet?"

Meng took a deep breath, shutting down the null spell array. "The Duchess is a warrior. Why'd you use a silence array?"

They'd been chatting, then went silent, realizing Yu Yu had accidentally muted them.

They were beyond exasperated.

And then they saw her chasing the Duchess. This was the Duchess's castle—technically, the Spellcaster Corps was just borrowing it. Yet the moment the Duchess walked in, Yu Yu targeted her. Only Yu Yu could pull that off. Only with her would the Duchess not take it personally.

Anyone else, and it'd be unthinkable.

Felix, finally able to speak, said, "Embarrassing. You got zapped."

"Felix!!!"

Half an hour later, two wolves, one Meng, and one Yu Yu sat around a hotpot.

Yu Yu browsed the forums, asking, "We're heading out tomorrow? Through Senior Chong's route?"

"Heard the Duchess is coming too?"

The Duchess snorted. "Obviously. I'm not a sit-at-home Duchess."

She added icily, "I'm here to dominate. You handle the cheering."

Petty wolf, still holding a grudge?

Yu Yu shot her an innocent look. "Sure, sure."

"Senior, is the First Corps going too?"

Meng glanced at her. "Guess."

Yu Yu thought. "Senior Chong's there, so the Grand Archon probably won't go, right?"

"Of course not," Meng said. "But she'll send a few people to check."

If the youngsters messed up, they'd have to clean up.

Once Chong's group started fighting, they wouldn't have time for outsiders.

Felix added, "And us Recorders."

They could step in if needed.

Yu Yu swished a potato in the broth, realizing it wouldn't cook fast, and said, "What about Zi Shu and the others? Are they with the players or the Duchess?"

The Duchess, savoring a shrimp dumpling, mumbled, "…Huh? Zi Shu's a centurion. She's with me, of course. They're all with my personal guard. I wanna see how they perform."

Yu Yu nodded, replying to Zi Shu's message.

Meng, not looking up, said, "What? All the outsiders bugging you?"

Yu Yu: "They can't reach the Grand Archon and don't know who's calling the shots for this campaign. They're scouring the city for a commander and ended up asking me."

A forum thread had been pinned, @-ing her.

Meng said casually, "We've got the spellcasters sorted. The Duchess can handle the other outsiders."

"She's young, but she's seen plenty of battles. Very experienced."

Yu Yu looked at the silver-haired wolf in surprise, noticing her zapped hair still hadn't been smoothed down.

The Duchess looked up. "What's that look?"

Yu Yu instantly switched to an admiring gaze. "Didn't expect you to be so impressive. So, how're you planning to deploy them?"

The Duchess entered work mode, setting aside a few meatballs to guard against Felix's thieving paws. "Any suggestions?"

Yu Yu: "Don't mix them with the regular army. It'll cause chaos."

The Duchess frowned, puzzled. "I know they don't know formations or follow orders. I'll keep them on the flanks…"

"No, no," Yu Yu cut in. "I mean, they'll steal your soldiers' clothes."

Duchess: "???"

Meng: "???"

Felix: "…?"

Yu Yu elaborated, "If they're too close, players might think it's fun to toss skills at NPCs."

"Or they'll loot dead guards' bodies, swap into their armor, and sneak into the ranks to stir trouble."

The Duchess's face turned frigid, a quiet fury brewing. "They'd dare?"

Yu Yu diplomatically said, "Don't expect too much from players. They rarely do human things."

She went on, suggesting a slew of precautions: hide supplies from players, ration arrows carefully, and tie rewards to task progress.

"Only with tight rules will players fight as you intend."

"They need guidance."

The Duchess hadn't been thrilled about leading players to begin with. Their combat skills were subpar, they ignored formations and orders, and the Magic Circle wouldn't let her train them. Now she was supposed to take them to war—were they just cannon fodder?

Yu Yu's words made her grimace. "I don't even want to lead them. An untrained army shouldn't be on the battlefield. What's the teacher thinking?"

Yu Yu: "You can't judge players like a regular army."

The Duchess glared, annoyed. "Then what?"

Yu Yu: "Think of them as disposable mercenaries. Way more useful."

"High-risk, high-casualty tasks? Throw players at them. Like the first wave of a siege—let players charge in. Set hefty rewards, and they'll respawn and collect."

The Duchess's brow twitched, her expression odd as she held a shrimp dumpling, not daring to swallow.

Yu Yu pressed on, unfazed. "But stuff like escorting supplies or patrolling? Keep them away."

"Burning supplies in secret or messing with them in chaotic ways is peak player behavior. And routine tasks like patrols? They'll slack off or goof around."

"They love dangerous missions. The higher the reward, the better."

"Or when there's no choice, and you're treating a dead horse as alive, let players try. They might pull off a miracle."

"You know about player guilds, right?"

The Duchess nodded. "The teacher gave me a guild registry, but they're all small. Probably useless."

Yu Yu couldn't help but laugh. "Guilds are the backbone of players."

"This is the first campaign. Players lack experience, and random groups will flop. But guilds make it easier."

"Break the campaign goals into clear segments. Account for failure, retreat, holding ground—every outcome. Specify how long to hold, how far to retreat before it's a failure, and tie rewards to goal completion. That way, players will get your intent."

Yu Yu dissected past player campaigns, laying it all bare for the Duchess. The meal passed in discussion.

The Duchess finally got it, rubbing her silver hair. "I think I understand."

"It takes that much detail to use outsiders?"

She massaged her temples, wincing. "I'll do my best."

Yu Yu: "Tell your lieutenants to adapt goals on the fly and set reward points."

"But we don't have the authority to alter outsider tasks…" the Duchess said, troubled.

Yu Yu: "Why not? Didn't Lynn issue tasks before?"

The Duchess blinked.

Yu Yu: "Give it a shot. I bet it'll work."

"If it doesn't, just ask the Grand Archon. She won't say no in a pinch."

The Grand Archon was reliable for serious matters.

The Duchess paused, then gave a wry smile. "Alright."

The teacher wasn't as accommodating as Yu Yu thought. Borrowing spellcasters was a nightmare… ugh, whatever. Maybe once the Second Corps grew, things would change. Seeing Yu Yu's matter-of-fact expression, the Duchess sighed inwardly. Probably only Yu Yu thought Magic Circle resources were easy to tap.

The teacher spoiled her rotten.

The Duchess felt a pang of envy.

The Campaign Begins!

The player army had already been led out by the Duchess, and spellcasters not in the Corps tagged along with the main force to wreak havoc. But the Second Spellcaster Corps was the last to depart. Aboard a massive spectral ray, a flock of black-robed junior spellcasters swayed in the wind. Yu Yu's recent training had focused heavily on joint spellcasting and commanding other spellcasters.

Her curriculum was packed, especially in this area. The army's march was epic, as Yu Yu had seen on the forums. Compared to the players' chaotic energy, the Duchess's forces were an unyielding mountain, disciplined and precise.

Yu Yu realized she might've underestimated the Duchess. If her army was fully loyal, she wasn't exactly powerless. But she usually seemed so unserious. The past half-month had left Yu Yu with a less dignified impression than their first meeting.

The Recorders stood on the spectral ray too, heading to the battlefield with the Second Corps. Yu Yu sneaked a peek at Felix, dying to glimpse her notebook but too scared to try.

Felix tucked it away, glancing at her. "What're you looking at?"

Yu Yu averted her eyes. "Nothing, not looking."

Spotting Meng up front, she couldn't resist griping, "Senior Meng, you're the commander. Why do you act like you're on a field trip?"

Reading books, munching seeds—want an tablet to binge dramas too?

Meng didn't look up. "Me? I am on a field trip."

"The Grand Archon said the Second Corps acts freely. Don't look at me—I've got no plans."

Yu Yu: "…"

A bunch of mid-tier spellcasters—how "free" could they be?

Was she supposed to lead players into the city to feed anomalies?

Even high-tier spellcasters wouldn't dare!

Yu Yu: "Let's support the Duchess."

"We've learned so much joint spellcasting. Let's whip up some ritual spells to buff her."

Kumu Town came into view, and Yu Yu spotted a purple spell array stretching across the horizon.

"What's that?" she exclaimed.

Meng: "A grand teleportation array."

Yu Yu: "Huh?"

Meng teased, "You didn't think the Duchess's army and the outsiders were walking there, did you?"

Yu Yu gaped. "It's that far?"

Meng: "Obviously."

"Let's go. Keep up."

Yu Yu glanced at the town. "Is Senior Chong still there?"

Meng: "Of course not. Move."

The spectral ray didn't swerve, plunging straight into the array with them.

~

Lynx Capital.

Located in the Cefrosy Province, once the capital of a fallen kingdom. When Yu Yu emerged from the teleportation array, her jaw dropped. A colossal city sprawled at the edge of the plain, its endless walls stretching beyond sight, as if touching the sky.

Wait, the sky?

She looked up, catching a sky-blue radiance unfurling at lightspeed, cloaking the heavens and shielding against malicious forces. Deep blue light cascaded, sealing off their view of the surroundings. Even in its decay, the city's walls hinted at the former glory of the Shiva Continent.

Silver Moon folk, Shiva folk… sigh.

Yu Yu had thought the Duchess's tens of thousands of guards, plus the player horde, would be substantial.

But facing this sky-spanning city, her face went numb.

"This… can we even reclaim it?"

The spectral ray hovered above the Duchess's army. Her banner-bright forces stood beside the ragtag player coalition, scattered in clumps. Yu Yu didn't forget to screenshot.

But even the Duchess's army, before this titanic city, seemed as forlorn as a pack of stray dogs. Yu Yu's confidence wavered.

Meng patted her shoulder, pointing afar. "Of course we can. Look."

Yu Yu followed her gaze. Straining her eyes, she barely made out a tiny cluster of black-robed spellcasters floating in the distance.

Were they…

Joint spellcasting?

Almost instantly, a surge of mana rippled to Yu Yu, the overwhelming mental force nearly shaking her. She gripped Meng's sleeve to stay composed.

Six massive vortexes appeared in the sky, each dyed a different hue: cyan, deep blue, ice blue, fiery red, earthen yellow, deep purple.

The mana surge was now so intense it almost scrambled Yu Yu's own mental energy. She clung to Meng's sleeve, barely holding it together.

Meng, relaxed, asked, "Guess what spell this is?"

Yu Yu's eyes stung, watching the tide of elements pour from the vortexes.

Her lips trembled, voice hoarse. "…Fifth-ring summoning, Elemental Legion."

Meng smiled faintly. "Exactly. Fifth-ring summoning spell, Elemental Legion."

The elements kept pouring out, filling her vision in a blink. The players let out a collective gasp, and even the spellcaster players behind Yu Yu sucked in sharp breaths.

[I ate without washing dishes]: "Holy crap, this is insane! Screenshot! Screenshot! I'm done calling spellcasters weak!"

Yu Yu stared at the elements flooding every inch of her view, blanketing the sky, and murmured, "This isn't an Elemental Legion. It's an elemental ocean…"

I was wrong. So wrong.

The Duchess was still a pup.

This wasn't a war—it was a field trip.

The Magic Circle was taking its pup out for a stroll.

Meng hummed. "Nice name."

Meanwhile, some seniors secretly streaming chimed in.

[Little Yu's got no perspective. This shocks her?] Chong scoffed. [We barely tried.]

Feng Ye nodded. [She needs more training.]

All she does is whine to Meng about sleep. It's just a few late nights—big deal.

Xue: [After this, let's boost her experience and let her level up.]

Her packed schedule meant no new tasks, so Yu Yu still hadn't hit 17 Spirit.

Feng Ye: [She's not advancing normally. I'm worried her body can't handle the sudden mental surge.]

Chang: [Even Felix lost control for days during her advance. Yu Yu's worse off.]

[We tell her, and she brushes it off,] Chang sighed. [She doesn't get that she's the first outsider to hit high-tier mental realms. Any risks are hers to bear.]

[We're too far to help.]

[Just holding her back a bit, and she's still whining to Meng.]

Xue: [Keep delaying, and she'll go hunt tasks herself. She's got no patience. Rushing to high-tier won't help—she still has to study.]

Guang Chen: [High-tier's different. She probably wants to help out there too.]

Feng Ye: [Enough. Let's watch. See what surprises she's got.]

Meanwhile, Yu Yu had zero intention of working. She sat side-by-side with Meng on the spectral ray, propping her chin, gazing afar. The elemental ocean crashed against the walls, fireworks bursting within the city. But the spellcasters responsible?

Sorry, good luck finding them.

Invisibility, teleportation, every survival spell in the book—think you could catch them?

Yu Yu murmured, "Wow, summoning's so cool."

She'd chosen right.

Strength in numbers was the ultimate truth.

Meng snorted. "Obviously."

Chang: [Not necessarily. Yu hasn't seen the true might of elements. Chong, show her later.]

Chong: [You got it! It's on!]

Meng, propping her chin, slowly sensed something off.

This kid wasn't reacting?

Everyone's just spectating?

The Duchess had already mustered her troops below.

Glancing at Yu Yu, she saw her still staring dreamily into the distance.

Meng admitted it felt good to awe junior spellcasters, but…

Meng: "Ahem, Yu Yu?"

No response.

"Commander Yu?"

Yu Yu turned, all doe-eyed. "What's up, Commander Meng?"

The livestream crowd: […]

Meng, exasperated, said, "You're just gonna sit here?"

Yu Yu kept propping her chin. "Nah, I'm dominating with the Magic Circle. Can't you tell?"

She pointed afar, beaming proudly. "Look how awesome we are."

Meng: "?"

The Magic Circle bigwigs on the livestream: "…?"
