Born of Strain

Set in the modern day, a young girl raised by an elderly couple finds herself in a painful and inexplicable situation. Unaware of what’s happening to her or what awaits in the future, she searches for help in a world where no cure exists.

In a society ruled by status, whether beastman, merfolk, human, or anything else, those without it are nothing.

As her body begins to betray her and change into something else, how will she adapt?
