The wind howled over the jagged peaks of a blackened cliff.
Zarek stood tall, arms crossed, a faint smirk playing on his lips. The world below was in chaos — flames rose, shadows danced, and screams echoed across the land.
Zarek (to himself):
"They dance… just as the strings were pulled."
Suddenly —
A blast of pressure struck the air.
The sky cracked open, and they landed.
Hayashi Leonhart. Iris. Marianne. Adrian Avelis Leonhart.
Each one stood like the very image of a main character walking into the final stage.
Adrian's hair fluttered wildly. His blood-stained blade gleamed. His eyes — mad, furious, focused — gave off Levi-level killing intent.
Zarek (grinning):
"So, the heroes finally arrive..."

Scene 2: Sacrifice Before Our Eyes
The battlefield turned into a graveyard of demons.
A-rank, B-rank, even C-rank monstrosities were being obliterated by the party's combined might.
But victory came at a cost.
Valiant warriors fell one after another.
The ground soaked in crimson.
Among them, Bhuto, a seasoned adventurer, leapt in front of Iris — taking a fatal blow meant for her.
Bhuto (with fading breath):
"I learned to play with fire… but never once dared fight the burning sun like you."
His body collapsed, blood soaking the earth.
A moment of silence passed in the chaos — and Iris' eyes burned with rage.

Scene 3: The Gate Opens – Entry of the Dark Knight
Zarek simply chuckled and clapped once.
A strange wind blew as a hybrid demi-human, unknown species, crash-landed beside him — a being of terrifying mana and silent focus.
Raising one hand, he opened a pitch-black portal.
And from within that darkness…
REINHARDT DRACONIS emerged.
Wearing a tattered black cape.
Eyes glowing red.
His expression? Calm. Unreadable. Dangerous.
Gasps filled the field. Even Hayashi took a step back.
Reinhardt (coldly):
"I didn't come here… for you."

Scene 4: One Hand, One Hole – Zarek's Downfall
With a sudden movement, Reinhardt moved forward.
Faster than anyone could react — his hand pierced Zarek's chest, straight through the heart.
Zarek (choking):
"W-What are you doing—?!"
Reinhardt (flat):
"When I said I was coming… I didn't mean for you. I no longer need pawns."
There was no anger. No guilt. Just sheer cold logic.
Zarek's body began to erupt with unstable energy, his aura crackling and flaring like a dying sun.
Before it could explode —
The Demi-Human Hybrid cast an ancient sealing rune.
The aura collapsed inward… and Zarek was annihilated on the spot.
Dead. Just like that.
The battlefield froze.

Scene 5: Bombshell & Goodbye
Hayashi stepped forward, trembling. His voice cracked as he tried to speak, thoughts in chaos.
Hayashi (thinking):
"This power… this coldness… Is he still my friend? Was he ever?"
But just as Hayashi was about to confront Reinhardt—
BOOM!
A sudden matter explosion burst from the sealing portal. The Hybrid had triggered it — intentionally or not — as a parting gift.
The world cracked.
Shockwaves blew everyone back.
Debris flew like daggers. Screams echoed.
And Hayashi —
Took the full brunt of the blast.
He fell.
Blood pouring from his mouth. His body trembling.
System Alert:
> "Main Hero System Deactivated."
"Host Condition: Critical."
"Estimated Coma Duration: 5 Years."
Time slowed.
His eyes fluttered… then shut.

Everyone gathered around his broken form. No one spoke.
Even the sky had gone still.
Inside his fading mind, Hayashi spoke one last thought:
Hayashi (inner voice):
"Have I truly drifted away from them all… or is this… just the beginning of a new story?"
Darkness consumed his vision.
The screen faded to black.
