First Year of college was hard Brianna barely made friends. She decided to join the gospel choir. That’s where she began to meet people that she could relate to. One of the people she met was the choir director Dr. Anthony Walker, who showed a special interest in her. He was married with two children. He told her that her voice was beautiful. She was a soprano. She would sing her heart out. She also met her best friend Sara in the choir. They instantly became inseparable. Brianna told Sara everything. Sara was quiet and also one of Dr. Walker’s favorites. Being freshmen was hard but at least they had each other. Brianna never had a drink or went to any parties. She was a church girl whole heartedly. When she wasn’t in school she was in church. It was a culture shock when she went to her first party with Sara. There was liquor and drugs all over the place. Sara seemed to fit right in but Brianna was a bit uncomfortable. She stood in the corner for a while until a guy named Tone walked over to her asking if she wanted to play a game called Have You ever. The way the game was played a person asked a question and if you ever did then you would take a drink. Brianna agreed to play. She was nervous but the guy was a fine chocolate tall specimen kissed by the gods so to speak. As the night went on Brianna was extremely drunk. She could barely stand up on her own. Sara disappeared with one of the football players. So Tone offered to take Brianna home. He was a pure gentleman walking her to her dorm room. When she woke up she was in her pajamas and a not was on her desk that read:
Brianna,
Nothing happened. I put you in your pajamas and laid you in bed after you passed out. I will be back in the morning to check on you. I left you a ginger ale in the refrigerator and two aspirin on your dresser. See you soon.
Tone
Brianna was so embarrassed but happy nothing actually happened. Moments later there was a knock at the door. It was Tone. She opened the door and let him in. She told him he could sit down. He sat down asking Brianna if she was okay. She told him she was fine, just a little embarrassed. He told her no need to be. Her head was pounding and could barely hold a conversation. Tone agreed to come back the next day. Brianna laid back down pulling the covers over her face falling back to sleep. An hour later her alarm went off waking her back up. It was time for choir rehearsal but her head was on fire. It was no way she would be able to make it through a whole rehearsal. She decided to skip it. The next day came and Tone came back after spending the entire day with her. They planned to go out for lunch the following week. They met up at a burger joint nearby. Brianna had never been on an actual date. Tone held the doors open and pulled out her chair. That was the night he asked her to be his girlfriend. Brianna said yes before she could even think. After dinner Tone reached for Brianna’s hand. She put her arm through his instead. She then stopped in mid footstep. Tone turned and looked at her asking if she was okay. It’s something I need to tell you she uttered I’m a virgin and I don’t plan to have sex until I get married. Tone stepped back looking her up and down biting his lip saying wow that’s a tough one right there, but I can manage. Brianna smiled thinking maybe he’s my true love. That night she had a dream of her and Tone getting married. When she woke up she thought to herself this man could be my first. She calmed herself down and got ready for class. It was almost summer break and it was time for finals. Tone walked her to every class and they met up at the library to study every night. They sometimes spent the night in each other's dorm rooms. During the summer they decided they wanted to be roommates off campus for their sophomore year. Both of their parents were less than pleased but agreed to allow them to move in together. Tone had a car so he would drive Brianna back and forth to school and work. They seemed to be settling in well together. They also roomed with Sara and her boyfriend. Everything was going pretty good until one night Sara got drunk and ran through the whole house naked. Brianna was extremely upset, feeling dispected. She decided to sit Sara down the next day letting her know if she does that again their friendship will be strained. Sara apologized promising it will never happen again. Sara told Brianna that her boyfriend was upset and decided to move out. Two weeks later Brianna noticed that Sara and Tone were spending a lot more time together. She didn’t think anything of it until one day she Tone didn’t pick her up from work on time. When he finally arrived Sara was in the car and they both were sweaty. Sara was sitting in the front seat and did not move so Brianna could get up front. She opened the front door asking Sara to move to the back. Sara rolled her eyes but moved to the back of the car. Brianna leaned in for a kiss but Tone turned his head and began driving. Once they reached the house Sara jumped out slamming the door. Brianna asked Tone what was going on and he said nothing getting out of the car. He walked into the house without grabbing Brianna’s door. That’s strange she thought as she got out of the car. Tone went into the bathroom and took a shower. Brianna headed to the dining room table to study. Normally Tone would follow but he never came. He stayed in the room that night. The house no longer had a relaxing vibe but an uptight eerie feeling. One day Brianna decided to leave work early. She didn’t tell Tone because one of her co-worker’s offered her a ride. As she opened the front door she could hear the sound of a bed moving and someone moaning loudly. It was coming from Sara’s room so she thought nothing of it until she couldn’t find Tone. His car was in the driveway but she couldn’t find him anywhere. Her gut was full of butterflies as she approached Sara’s bedroom door. She then heard Tone say Baby that was good you about to have me leave my girl. Brianna kicked open the door and they both were in the bed naked. Tone jumped up running toward Brianna apologizing. Brianna ‘s heart sank to her stomach. Tears began to roll down her face. She fell to the floor in disbelief. After she was able to get herself together she called her mother to come and get her. It was time for spring break anyway. She went back home to clear her mind. During the spring break Tone and Sara became a couple. When Brianna returned to the house she wasn’t surprised to see the hugged up watching tv. She walked by and headed to her bedroom. One of Brianna’s friends from campus ended up moving in to help her with the rent. She just needed to get through the semester without any more problems. After finals everyone moved out going their own separate ways. It was now Brianna’s Junior year and her first year without a roommate. She was still in choir so she would still see Sara at rehearsals. They kept their distance, no longer speaking to one another. Brianna's school year was not going well and Dr. Walker would always ask her to come to his office after rehearsal so he could check in on her. He was like the father she never had. She opened up to him telling him about how Sara and her ex Tone slept together and are now a couple. He would assure her it was okay that she was saving herself for marriage and not to ever let anyone make her feel bad. He helped get her through her junior year with all the pep talks. She even met his family. His wife would take her out for lunch and sometimes dinner. She thought nothing of it when Dr. Walker asked her to come to his office on a day rehearsal was canceled. She walked in smiling as she always did, taking the first seat near the door. Dr. Walker seemed a little off asking Brianna if she could lock the door. She looked puzzled. He then stood up leaning over Brianna reaching to lock the door. Now she was uncomfortable. He must have noticed because as he went back to his seat he told Brianna to relax. She felt a little better when he sat back in his chair. She stood up saying I just remembered I am supposed to meet one of my friends at the cafeteria. But before she could make it to the door he grabbed by the air sliding his hand up her dress, spinning her around pinning down on his desk. Taking her most prized possession, her virginity. Once he let her up he unlocked the door and sat back down like nothing ever happened. She gathered herself running straight to her dorm room. Burying her face into her pillows screaming and crying for hours. She finally got herself together to go take a shower. She scrubbed her skin so hard it burned. The soft crys still continued. She didn’t tell anyone why she quit the choir. She just packed up at the end of the school year and never returned.
