The intense war did not affect the gods in the Abyss. Tekla timely revealed the use of the Abyssal essence to Waukeen, which immediately drove the gods into a frenzy.
Without any urging, the deities of great power poured all their strength into the Abyss, even at the cost of exploiting the faith of the Material Plane.
Layer by layer, the Abyssal planes were swallowed by the Hells, and Tekla's plan was nearing its end.
When the Salt Marsh of Demogorgon was also breached, the Abyssal Prince himself was torn to pieces in the scramble among the gods.
Graz'zt fell into the hands of his former prisoner, Waukeen, and without his virtual godhood, Graz'zt's power was even weaker than some lesser deities. The gods did not care how Waukeen tormented Graz'zt; the continuous great wars made the primal forces of war unprecedentedly active. After reclaiming the naval war domain from Velsharoon, Torm's domain of war was nearly complete, and he could feel the call of the primal forces, with promotion imminent.
After the death of Helm, his defense domain was attracted by the protection domain and fell into Tekla's hands.
The defense domain was the final piece of the puzzle for Torm's promotion. For this reason, Torm repeatedly sent messages through Waukeen, hoping to exchange for this domain.
"Princess Tekla, what must I do to obtain the defense domain?"
Torm could no longer hold back and visited the Hells, leaving the cleanup of the Abyssal war behind.
"You are too late," Tekla controlled the Hells to swallow the last layer of the Abyssal plane, "I have already returned the remnants of the Guardian Deity to Io."
Of course, this was not without cost; for this, Io had to use the still-recovering Tablet of Fate to crush the struggling Abyssal will, allowing Tekla to quickly integrate the Abyss and the Hells.
Torm was speechless; Io would surely use this to control him and make him work for his own benefit.
What means Io used to control Torm did not arouse Tekla's curiosity, but the fact that Io had to divert his attention and use the already damaged Tablet of Fate during the battle meant that Io must have considered it a profitable deal.
With Torm's promotion, Tekla noticed that the cracks on the Tablet of Fate were gradually healing, while the ascended God of War's aura seemed somewhat unstable.
Torm's performance was also inconsistent with his past achievements; the God of War who controlled war should have been on par with Yegr and Sarenrae, but he could only barely match the weakest Amanthar.
Reluctantly, the deities of great power faced the four Elemental Primes, relying on their numerical advantage to hold them off; Io, fighting alone against two, still held an absolute advantage, resisting the interference of the Law and pushing Yegr and Sarenrae back.
Watching the drama unfold, Tekla received a visit from Corellon.
"Aren't you worried that Io will turn against you?"
Corellon, looking at the struggling Yegr and Sarenrae, frowned, "The power of the Law is not infinite; Yegr and Sarenrae cannot hold on forever."
"I have my plans."
Tekla fiddled with the reflection in the water basin, "If Io remains at a disadvantage, he will spare no expense to find someone who can influence the situation, which is not in our interest. Only by letting him see the hope of victory can I have the chance to strike a fatal blow when he lets his guard down!"
Corellon nodded slightly, "Only by eliminating both Io and the Law can the vacated interests make the gods support you in replacing them."
Yegr and Sarenrae were once in dire straits; without Tekla's support, the Law's replenishment was significantly reduced, and the resurrection of the three Old Gods became slower and more difficult to sustain.
The Law had no choice but to extract energy from various planes to maintain itself.
The first to suffer were the gods' realms; although they had lost their supplicants, the protection of the realm rules still provided some comfort to the anxious gods.
As the realm rules gradually dissipated, an unprecedented sense of crisis made the gods hesitate in their actions; their true forms were now exposed to everyone!
Deities of medium and lesser power who still had avatars quickly returned to their true forms, as they no longer felt safe without the protection of their realms.
The avatars of weaker and lesser deities that still existed were few and far between, and it was impossible for them to return to their original bodies to provide protection.
Next were the vast planes such as Elysium, the Beastlands, the Outlands, and Mechanus, whose boundaries began to disintegrate, becoming sacrifices to the Law's energy extraction.
Planes like the Sea of Light and the Halls of Knowledge, which relied on the power of deities of great power, also could not escape; the unprotected true forms of the gods had to descend to the Material Plane, and chaos worse than the Plague of the Saints ensued! The unprecedented turmoil made demigods and legendary characters feel like they had found a lifeline, and many of them did not even understand what was happening.
The battle among the Old Gods made them feel even less secure than the gods; in order to increase their chances of survival, they had no choice but to seize the power of the gods.
At this time, Io fought with increasing vigor, taking advantage of Yegr's inability to recover, the golden ring flew around, trapping the struggling Sarenrae, causing the Night Goddess to follow in the footsteps of Sarenrae, completely disappearing from the world of Faerûn.
The Tablet of Fate flew out, shattering Yegr's body while also tearing open the void, opening the door to the essence.
Io delved into the heart of the essence, facing the Law head-on.
Amanthar, who was locked in a stalemate with Torm, had a fierce look in his eyes, and after forcefully repelling Torm, he supported the still-recovering Yegr and fled into the essence together.
"Let's begin!"
At Tekla's command, Corellon flashed back to Asgard.
World Tree, helped by Corellon, began to awaken! The former Mount Celestia, Asgard, began to divert the plane energy squeezed by the Law. Tekla also responded to World Tree, operating the Hells to extract the power of the Law in reverse.
The sense of weakness made the Law desperate; in order to escape the devouring of the Tablet of Fate, the Law even began to exploit the energy of the Material Plane.
A cataclysmic disaster descended; whether human or goblin, all shivered in the threat of earthquakes and tsunamis.
No matter how much energy the Law exploited, it was a drop in the bucket. Io pressed on relentlessly, ignoring the frenzied attacks poured by Yegr and Amanthar.
Torm, the only Old God on the Material Plane, did not know what to do. After the destruction of the gods' realms, the four Elemental Planes also fell victim to the Law, and the four Elemental Primes were greatly weakened, otherwise, they could have provided some protection.
The Material Plane was in dire straits, and the shaken faith caused a considerable number of deities to fall! Seawater flooded into the cracks, and the cries and prayers of gray dwarves and drow in the depths were drowned out by the torrents.
The damage to the world fed back to the Law; the weakened Law was no longer able to resist the devouring of the Tablet of Fate and gradually merged with it.
Io laughed wildly with excitement. Seeing that the battle was lost, Amanthar took the opportunity to flee with Yegr while Io was distracted.
The Law was about to dissipate completely, and their Old God status was precarious, causing the rules that bound the Old Gods to lose their effectiveness and could no longer be maintained.
The two Old Gods charged forward blindly; they began to envy Sarenrae and Shar, who had been transported out of Faerûn, at least they still had a chance to survive.
The dim Crystal Sphere could no longer bind them, but after leaving the Crystal Sphere, Yegr and Amanthar crashed into the brilliant World Tree, and Tekla's true form eagerly accepted this gift that was delivered to her doorstep.
The turmoil on the Material Plane began to subside; under the triple attack of Io, Corellon, and Tekla, the primal forces were stripped away bit by bit.
The Tablet of Fate shone brilliantly, and the conspicuous cracks had disappeared. After devouring the Law, this artifact could be said to have replaced the Law as the key to controlling the world of Faerûn!
Corellon and Tekla joined forces to contend with Io for control of the Tablet of Fate.
Controlling the two most intact and important poles of the world, Tekla's side had an undeniable influence on the Tablet of Fate. Although Io tried his best to stop it, the Tablet of Fate, which had already slipped from his control, instinctively moved away from the culprit who was destroying the world.
Tekla's true form outside the Crystal Sphere seized the opportunity and threw the Eternal Spear, which had been fully charged during the struggle for the Tablet of Fate, at Io!
Io had to retreat, and the golden ring appeared, colliding with the inevitable Eternal Spear with a dull sound, and then each returned to its owner.
Tekla took the opportunity to seize the Tablet of Fate, retreated, and hid in the void that appeared behind her.
Corellon was sweating profusely, facing the enraged Io and Torm alone, he was not sure if he could safely extricate himself.
The World Tree carrying Tekla's true form appeared, and Io looked at the trembling Eternal Spear in her hand with a solemn expression.
Torm frowned at Corellon blocking his way; the next moment, a void appeared behind him, and the silver-white Messiah gently touched Torm, and the God of War also disappeared from the world of Faerûn.
The power of reincarnation once again ran rampant; the dazed demons, like the devils, were thrown into the void and decomposed into pure soul essences and primal forces.
The entropy of divine power smoothed out the remaining turmoil on the Material Plane, and the warm energy flow healed the broken earth; the silent four Elemental Planes also began to revive.
The branches of the World Tree swayed, and dewdrops fell like rain, re-embodiments of dead souls were conceived in this grace, and even fallen deities were reborn from the Astral Plane.
In the Hells, the Tablet of Fate quickly turned against Io due to Tekla's manipulation, and a new order began to emerge, following the will of its master to suppress Io.
"Sorry, Io," Tekla said with a smile, "Can you please die?"
Deities of the same level locked each other's permissions, and Io's golden ring also stagnated and turned silver after hitting the Messiah. Exhausted Io had no more tricks up his sleeve; unwilling to wait for death, he turned towards the Chaos Sea beyond the world.
The Shield of the Azure Lake Maiden appeared, and Io, caught off guard, slammed into the shield, and then was pinned to the Crystal Sphere by the swiftly arriving Eternal Spear.
Tekla did not dare to be careless; the World Tree took root in Io's body, and with the assistance of the Tablet of Fate, his body was ground away.
The primal forces surged like a tide, dissolving Io's body, leaving only the indestructible wristwatch, which Tekla collected.
The gods once again felt an irresistible attraction and left the Material Plane to gather on a towering mountain.
Holding the Tablet of Fate, Tekla stood at the summit, replacing Io's existence under the awe-stricken gaze of the gods.
Tekla's gaze swept over the gods, raised the Tablet of Fate high, and threw it forcefully to the ground; the Tablet of Fate returned to the world that gave birth to it according to the new master's command!
The creatures of the Material Plane only felt as if they had dreamed; they seemed to have left their bodies and flown to the sky, arriving in a pure white world.
The earth beneath their feet shattered and quickly reformed; the seawater that swept across the land receded, and the oceans also returned to calm. When they returned to their bodies, all this seemed no different from what they had seen before.
Tekla, integrated with the essence, easily became the new Creator God! The world's rules changed according to her will, and the factions were no longer shackles binding the gods, freeing them all.
Yegr and Amanthar also played their roles, controlling the sun and death to return to the Material Plane, bringing light, heat, and peace to the world.
Ripples appeared on the Chaos Sea; Tekla lifted a world from the dark Chaos Sea, and this world would henceforth become a place where evil creatures and demons would avoid. Many newborn worlds were attracted, attaching themselves to the Crystal Sphere to form a vast world cluster; Tekla did not resist their joining, opening her arms to welcome them.
On the lightless and dark sea, a group of Creator Gods rose to welcome the arrival of the new transcender. Ilúvatar signaled for Tekla to sit beside him, and the wills of the Creator Gods connected with each other, extending towards the unknown distance.
Tekla's gaze extended all the way, seeing Lambert riding a horse, teaching apprentices swordsmanship; the reputation of the demon hunters had improved a lot due to the increasingly frequent celestial intersections. The soldiers under the ruler were still overwhelmed by the ever-emerging monsters and evil spirits, and the demon hunters became useful, naturally improving their situation.
Under the festively decorated Golden Archway, two female sea goddesses were admiring the fireworks bursting in the night sky. In the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, the worshippers coming to burn incense were endless; the young temple pillar was flustered, turned around and was knocked down by a child who borrowed a candle to light incense. The children laughed and scattered, searching for unlit firecrackers in the rising mist; the temple keeper straightened the slanted Hun Yuan scarf, blushing in the laughter of the elders.
Returning to the beginning of everything, the majestic God King of Olympus seemed to sense something, looked up at the empty sky, and curled the corner of his mouth.
On the mist-shrouded island, a few familiar faces were busy in the orchard. Phyllira led the Sirens to pick apples; some tree nymphs had already returned to live on the earth, and Phyllira, who stayed on the island, had to take on more work. Fortunately, there were Sirens to help; otherwise, Phyllira would have been overwhelmed.
Carrying a basket of apples, Phyllira hurried back to the temple; she had to drive the golden sheep back to the sheepfold before dark.
Passing through the lush trees, the fragrance of lilies refreshed Phyllira, and she couldn't help but speed up her pace.
Along the stream to the poolside, Phyllira saw a familiar figure; the apples in her arms rolled to the ground, and Phyllira couldn't help but cover her mouth to keep from screaming.
"Your Highness!"
The figure by the pool turned around and said with a smile, "Long time no see."
