Chapter 15 - the nameless.

[Quest: a nameless creature has made its appearance, defeat it.

Requirement: defeat the un-named creature.

Difficulty: 10/10

Time limit: 30 minutes.

Penalty for failure: death, destruction of South Korea.

Reward: Key, Item that you will need, 1 random skill (SSS+ grade.)]

As Mathis reads the new quest, his face changes from confident and teasing to grim and pale.

**Member teleportation lvl. 1 has been activated.**

Before him now stood the unknown man, as per usual the man looked calm, composed, confident and unfazed.

"Do you really need help defeating that? I thought you were stronger than this, Mathis." The man says indifferently, yet behind it was abit of hidden sarcasm.

Mathis just quietly nods, unsure of how to respond.

"Let's go then, quit sitting around." The man did not ask but instead commanded, before starting to walk away, expecting Mathis to follow.

Mathis decides to follow and asks a question

"What is your name? You always keep it hidden." Mathis asked curiously and wearily.

"I said to quit asking questions last time, didn't I? Now shut up before I slice your head off." The man says before resuming the walk.

Mathis shuts up and follows, they soon arrived in an underground subway station, for an underground subway station in a country that is slowly being torn apart by otherworldly creatures, it looked oddly normal.. almost too normal.

"There it is." The man says indifferently before pointing to a woman, she wore a black cloak, was around 179cm tall and had long black hair.. she looked normal but something was definitely off.

Mathis noticed that, although the woman seemed to stay still like a statue and was looking in front of her.. it felt like she was staring straight into their souls.

Before Mathis had time to say anything, the woman appeared before them, her arm morphing into some kind of large black blade as she tries to stab through Mathis with it.

The unknown man, reacting fast enough deflects the stab with his own blade, he had a new katana.. it seemed even better than the last one, although still with the signature no hand guard of his.

The man then punches the woman flying into a wall about 20 feet away, leaving a massive hole in the wall.

"Tsk. I was aiming for the weak link, but it seems it won't be able to do that with you here.. pesky." The woman spoke, her tone dripping with hate and agression.

Both the unknown man and Mathis are left in disbelief at the sight of the woman getting back up, dusting her cloak and healing at inhumane speeds.

Before Mathis and the man could even question it, the woman had already appeared behind them and punched Mathis flying into a wall, making his HP hit 7.

Mathis drinks a full restoration potion and gets back up, his body still aching from the blow.

The unknown man slashed straight at the woman, yet.. she easily caught the blade with her bare hands and shattered the blade with her raw grip strength like it was a mere twig to her.

The woman seems to let them read her stats, like she wanted them to know it so they fear her.

"Uhm.. since her intelligence is high, can't we just make her surrender and that would complete the quest?" Mathis asked the unknown man, cautiously.

"It's not as easy as you think, she has no reason to surrender." The man responds to Mathis, his tone stern and indifferent.

"What's that you got there!~" the woman said playfully yet confidently before appearing behind Mathis, now holding the gem the unknown man had given him.

"Hey! Give it back, that's mine!!" Mathis yelled out as he strikes at the woman.

"I don't think so, it's mine now." The woman says still playful before simply looking at the blade, grabbing it and shattering it with two fingers.

"Damnit!" Mathis yelled out trying something else.

The woman just smirks arrogantly.

"You want to use aura now? Watch this then!" The woman says confidently and abit more aggressively.

A dark aura emits from the woman, it felt like a massive pressure that didn't just affect his body but his soul aswell.

The unknown man, upon noticing this appears behind the woman and kicks her flying again, but he didn't end it there.

Right afterwards he appears where the woman is going to land and slams her through the concrete floor with a downwards punch.

"You weren't this fast 10 minutes ago!!" The woman yells out, her voice dripping with anger and hate towards the man.

"I learn faster, than you can regenerate." The man says indifferently.

The woman was truly pissed off now, the man just blinks and she was gone.

Right before the man turned around to look behind him, the woman struck down on him with her hand.. so hard that the concrete under him shattered alongside afew bones.

"So.. you can make a replica of other's ability, max it out and make it your own..?" The man asked curiously, and wearily.

"Maybe I can, who knows~?" The woman says, her tone now filled with sarcasm and killing intent.

A third person comes out of nowhere, slashing at the woman who easily catches the blade, it was a familiar katana..

"Theeven!" Mathis yelled out, his voice filled with worry.

Before Theeven could respond, the woman punches him flying through the wall.

The status window pops up

"Wait-! She's using it for herself! Stop her!!" The unknown man finally losses his composure, as he got up and kicked the woman away, preventing her from using it.

"Cover your eyes." The man demands from Mathis and Theeven.

They both complied and covered their ears, before they hear huge loud bang with a strong shockwave following right after.

By the time they open their eyes, they see the man standing over the woman.

The woman seemed to be regenerating fast but, her expression was one of absolute fear.

Before anything else could be said Theeven tries to finish off the woman, but the man stops him.

"Let Mathis decide, his the party leader afterall." The man says, calmly.

Mathis nods in appreciation for the respect and walks forward, regaining his own composure slowly but surely.

"I want her to join our party." Mathis said confident in his choice.

The man noticing that Mathis was serious, nods in affirmation.

The nameless woman who was hearing the conversation seems to be confused, intrigued, yet still fearful.

"Would you like to join our party?" Mathis asked the woman, directly.

The woman quietly nods, there was no sarcasm and cockiness left, for now.

[Nameless has shown interest in joining you're party, would you like to accept?-

[Mathis has accepted, Nameless has now joined the party.]
