The next day before we all went to the port, I went to get the truck full of food, along the way I met bandits who immediately wanted to grab me when they saw me, it was stupid of them, because now they are all lying with a bullet hole in their heads
After reaching the truck, I immediately went back. Forty minutes later I arrived and saw a long column of buses. There were military vehicles with a machine gun in front, and in the back too, having driven up to the column, the military vehicle drove off, letting me stand behind the last bus.
After getting off the truck, our friends met me.
"Shiroko, I didn't know you could drive!" Shizuka said.
"Well, yeah, only I don't have a license, but I don't think the cops care right now." I joked.
"Anyway, can you find someone to drive this truck?" I asked.
"Yeah, I think one of the men helping people get on the bus can do that."
I nodded to her and asked.
"Where is Serika now?"
"She's at the front of the column with Yuriko." Rika replied.
"Okay, then I'll go to her." I said and headed to the very front of the column.
When I got to the front of the column, I saw two military vehicles with machine guns, behind which was a large military cargo vehicle. It looked like the kind the military uses as a mobile headquarters.
When I got to it, I looked inside, where I saw Yuriko, Saya, and Serika drinking tea, and all sorts of sensors and monitors around them.
Serika noticed me and put down her mug.
"Shiroko, you are back." She said, to which I nodded and went up to them.
"Just in time! We'll be heading out in ten minutes!" Yuriko said.
"Want some tea?" Yuriko asked me.
I shook my head.
"No, but if you have coffee, I won't refuse." I said.
A few minutes later, I was sitting with them, drinking coffee made by one of Yuriko's maids.
"While we're here, I want to tell you something." I said.
They all looked at me, all except Serika, who knew what I was going to talk about.
"After we help you get to the island, Serika and I will leave."
"What, why? I thought we were friends?!" Saya screamed.
"Saya, calm down, that's not all she wants to say!" Yuriko said.
"Saya, you're my friend and will remain so, nothing will change that! We just can't stay! We work for a secret organization, which has assigned us an important task." I said.
"What, what task?" Saya asked
"It's secret!" I said, to which Saya pouted but didn't object.
"This organization of yours, what country does it belong to?" Yuriko asked
"Not to any, our organization doesn't belong to any country in the world!" I said
"Then…"
"You don't need to worry, you'll be fine! And if you have any problems, you can message me, I'll get it, no matter where I am." I said, which was true, if they write me a message, I'll get it even if I'm in another world.
"I see…" Saya replied, but her voice made it clear that she was sad.
Ten minutes later, a man came up to us.
"Ms. Yuriko, everything is ready, we can move out." he said.
"Okay, then tell the first car to start moving." Yuriko said, the man nodded and slammed the door.
A few seconds later, I felt movement, which meant that the column had started moving.
Deciding to relax a little, I climbed onto Serika's lap and pressed myself against her, which made her laugh, but nevertheless she began to stroke my head.
Yuriko, seeing this, pulled Saya onto her lap, which made her squeak cutely, and she blushed when Yuriko began to stroke her head.
A few hours later, the column stopped.
"Are we there yet?" I asked.
Yuriko shook her head
"No, we're a few kilometers from the port! I want you and Rika to go and scout the area first." She said.
I nodded, getting off Serika's lap, of course before that she pulled me in for a kiss, which I happily responded to. After that she let me go, and I went outside.
Getting out of the car, Rika was already there, with her sniper rifle.
"I think from the roof of that building we can see the entire port." She said, pointing to the building next to us.
I nodded and we started climbing the building, of course there was no electricity, so we had to climb the stairs.
Having reached the roof, we went to the edge and Rika took aim with her sniper rifle.
"Shiroko, we have a problem!" She said.
"What happened?"
"There are some people with weapons and military gear at the port!" she said.
"Let me see!" I said and she gave me her sniper rifle.
Taking aim, I immediately spotted people at the entrance to the port, they seemed to be on duty.
Checking further, there were patrols posted all over the port guarding the containers.
Zooming in, I looked at the uniform…
These unknown people had a red and white logo on their uniform, which was really bad.
Looking at the container, it also had the same logo, and there were more of these containers on the ship that was parked nearby. I also saw our ship, it was parked a little further, but now I had to deal with…
Umbrella!
"Rika, this is really bad!" I said, handing her the rifle.
"Why?"
"These people work for that corporation that tested biological weapons on Japan."
I saw Rika turn pale.
"And that's not all! Rika, do you remember that monster we met at the airport?"
She nodded.
"I have a suspicion that these containers contain similar monsters or experiments."
"What should we…"
"First, let's go down and discuss everything with Yuriko."
She nodded and we went down, reaching Yuriko's car.
I told her everything and she turned pale.
"Shiroko, do you think my men can handle them?" she asked.
"Honestly, I don't know! These aren't just mercenaries, these are people who have learned to kill, they've been trained for years! Your men, many of them have never held a weapon in their lives, let alone killed a person."
"Then what should we do?" she asked.
"Do you have C4?" she nodded.
"Then, Serika and I will infiltrate the port at night and neutralize all the people in it. After that, I will give the signal, and you will approach the port. Your men will have to plant C4 all over the port and on the ship, we can't let what's inside the containers see the light of day!" I said and realizing how serious everything was, she began telling the people to be ready for battle.
Then I looked at Rika.
"Rika, you climb back up the building and cover us if we are discovered." I said.
She nodded to us.
"Then it's decided, as soon as it gets dark outside, we head to the port!"
As soon as it got dark, Serika and I set out for the port.
We split up and reached the entrance to the port, where the first patrol was standing.
We came up to two soldiers, I looked at Serika and nodded to her.
I immediately grabbed the soldier and cut his throat, Serika did the same on the other side. We dragged them into the shadows and went further inside the port.
There were still a lot of people there, but their mistake was that they walked either in ones or in pairs. So it was easy for us to neutralize them all.
In the end, the port was empty, I had a desire to look inside the containers, but I changed my mind. I don't want to know what kind of abomination they created, and I especially don't want to accidentally release it.
Having reported on the radio that we had dealt with everyone, a column of cars soon drove into the port.
Yurika and Saya got out of the main car.
"Plant C4 throughout the port, and on this ship too!" she said, pointing to the ship next to us. Her people nodded and ran away.
Meanwhile, we headed to her ship and began loading people onto it. It took us about two hours, and all the civilians were already on board.
Meanwhile, Yuriko's subordinates informed her that C4 had been planted.
After which we all boarded the ship and Yuriko gave the order to start the engine, and a few minutes later the ship moved from its place and began to move away from the port.
"Here!" Yuriko said, handing me the device that was connected to C4.
I took the "red" button from her without thinking and looked at the port.
Smiling, I pressed the button…
*BOOM*
A series of explosions occurred in the port, just like on the ship that began to sink.
The explosions made the sky light up red, so you might think it was dawn, only the port was burning.
Turning away, we left the upper deck and went up to the bridge, where we stayed for several hours.
During which we managed to say goodbye to our friends.
Shizuka was very sad, but I said that we were not saying goodbye, and I said "goodbye" to her, which made her smile.
A few hours later, we saw the island where the future settlement would be.
I turned to my friends and took Serika by the hand.
"It's time!" I said, everyone else simply nodded to us. I told them that I would use the technology that our organization had supposedly developed.
I looked at my friends one last time and pressed the button…
