Chapter 56: Binge and Voracious Eater

"Who are they? Do you recognise them?" 

"I only recognise that Suyin girl. I tried to woo her but she rejected me."

"Wow new handsome and beautiful faces in the second floor."

"Is that not pill king of the outer court. What is he doing here."

"Yes that's pill king."

"Hey don't call him pill king. Call him pill prince. We have the pill king already. Do you want the wrath of the seniors?"

"Yes pill prince."

"Zu Fhao, you are only looking at pill king or prince. What of Ren, Stargod sword Ren?"

"Ren, that's him. Wait the 5 of them are all first grade students. They must be rich."

Here the outer court students are much fewer and they were much inner students. 

The inner students were dressed in blue robe, with pink at the helm of the robe, while the outer court students are dressed in tight fitting armless blue cloth. 

As the five were looking for an empty table, a grade 4 student stopped them. Grades are actually always written on the right chest breast of the uniform. So you can know the grades of all students easily.

"Don't you know first grades are not allowed here?" The grade 4 student stopped them.

"Why, there are a few grade one students here right now so why stop us?" Clinton asked.

"Hey you, what do grade one students do to eat here?" The grade 4 student directed the question to a grade one student.

"We pay 100 Jade coins to be able to eat here." The student answered.

"Again! I just paid one and now I am paying another. After today we are not coming here again." Clinton angrily brought out 500 coins and gave the grade 4 student.

'As expected, he has a lot of money.' The grade 4 student thought.

The 5 sat at an empty table and called a waitress.

"A plate of brown rice, and grilled salmon with crab soup." Ren requested.

"We want the same."

"I don't want the same." Clinton said. "Give a dozen plates of braised chicken wings, cucumber salad, spiced beef stew and red date wine."

"What!" The waitress exclaimed.

"Just bring him anything he asks, he won't waste it." Jiro said.

The waitress left in bewilderment and came back with for others each holding a food rack with 4 plates of food in it each. They were served and Clinton started digging. He looked like he was eating slowly and diligently but one could see he had devoured half of the braised chicken wings on one of the plates. On the plates are 3 chicken wings on each plate, sliced cucumber with milk and nuts on it and a sweet aromatic stew as the base. Even his friends had not eating quarter of their food when Clinton was done with one plate. This drew attention of everyone. In order to avoid distraction, Clinton covered their table with a barrier, so they can't hear what the others were saying outside the barrier. Within a minute he was done. He then started to drink his wine gently and gave the others one cup of his wine each. 

"You are indeed a voracious eater." Suyin commented.

"Food is essential for human growth."

"Hmph, he is indeed a binge eater. Only Xu Lishi and Tong Yu can rival him." Someone said to his friends.

"He was consuming it too fast and it seemed he was eating gratefully."

The other friends laughed. "I wonder what technique he used to do that."

Minutes later they were done. Clinton food costed 180,000 Jade coins, while the others costed 7,000 each. He paid for all and they left.
