"Are you that scared?" Thiago asked as he rolled up the black sleeve covering Liam’s arm, then wiped the area with alcohol.

But before the needle could touch his skin, Eren stepped in.

"Wait," he said, staring deep into Liam’s eyes.

"William... please, don’t hide anything anymore."

"I-I’m not—"

Before Liam could finish, Eren suddenly reached out, forcing him to look straight at him. Slowly, he touched Liam’s right eye, then—
