Purgo

I woke up just before sunrise to a destroyed yard and my house still open with bodies littered everywhere. I grabbed the wand of who I now recognized as Fenrir Greyback as he looked like the actor but hairier and nastier. I had looked at multiple spells in my books and memorized them after my trip to Diagon alley. With a few incendios I had reduced his body to ash and then dragged the others out of the house and did the same to them.

I then woke Calay and spent a few minutes reassuring her that I was okay. As she began fixing things I got myself cleaned up. After cleaning myself I went back out to the yard and used a few wind spells to remove the ashes. A few minutes later and I had recovered my spear and shield rings and put them on. The silver no longer hurt and had a pleasant coolness to them.

Three months later I had spent a peaceful birthday at my new home with Calay and Walburgas painting. I had gotten my Hogwarts acceptance letter 10 days ago and Calay and I would got the the alley today to do my final bit of shopping. When I got into the alley I found it packed to the brim with witches and wizards. At first I felt afraid of what might happen to me as a werewolf but I had figured out some things since then.

On full moons I would be a werewolf for the entire day and I could freely transform once every day for one hour. My human senses and mind were greatly enhanced with becoming a silvermoon werewolf. My hearing and smell had become much more acute and I could simply sense more. My eyesight had become clearer and much more focused but things were slightly desaturated.

I had taken to wearing the enchanted glasses to enhance my vision ten fold and my mind could now process the information they gave me. My silver armor was gone as it had integrated in the ritual but I still had my shield and spear along with the five wands I had taken from the werewolf wizards. All the wands accepted me but Fenrirs wand was a brown wood that I didn't recognize but, it still recognizes me as it's new master.

I was currently wielding fenrirs wand but as a wand was what I needed to get today it would soon just be my backup. As I walked to Ollivanders I stopped at a potions shop and bought any potion or ingredient I thought might be useful. After the potions I went to every book store I new here and bought anything that caught my attention. A few hours of buying book later I finally made it to Ollivanders shop. I looked in to check for customers and when I saw none I stepped in.

I looked around for the old man but I didn't see him. It was odd as my enhanced sight and the glasses were nearly infallible. Suddenly I smelled a something behind me and turned around ready to activate my weapons. In an instant the smell shifted back behind me and with another turn he appeared in front of me. We looked at each other for a moment before he gave a weird smile to me.

He turned and walked behind his counter and looked at me. 'Greetings Mr.Ollivander I'm Venawulf Black and I'm here for my first wand.'

A look of surprise crossed his face then turned contemplative. 'A black hmm, I think I can see it in you. I'm guessing your father is Sirius Black?'

'Yes sir Sirius Black was my father but I don't know him as I've never even seen him.'

'I suppose you wouldn't have, his death was an unfortunate lose for the wizarding world. I still remember his wand you know. 15 inches, made of ebony with a dragon heartstring core. I remember every wand I have sold young Mr.Black. Now let's get started.'

As soon as he stooped talking he clapped and multiple items flew up and around me. After a few minutes of observing the devices he clapped again and everything went back to where it was. He walked back into the wand shelves and disappeared only to reappear in the opposite side of the shelves he had entered. He walked over with a wand case and set it down on the counter.

He carefully opened the box to reveal a smooth white wand. I lifted the wand and immediately felt the warmth I felt when the full moon healed my injuries. With a small wave towards a flower pot the flowers and pot turned into a beautiful multicolored glass statue. I saw Ollivanders face light up in joy as he clapped 'Bravo Mr.Black it seems this wand fits you perfectly'

'14 inches, aspen wood with dragon heartstring core. A great wand for any type of combat and will help you in anything you do.' I looked at him and said 'Thank you Mr.Ollivander, how much will this cost?'

'Just the standard 7 galleons young man.'

After paying I went home and spent the rest of the day practicing and testing spells. I had an entire month before school so I learned everything I could from the vast black family library as my bag was way to small to carry even a tenth of it.

Half way through I found a book that had a strange feeling to it. Studying the book and its contents revealed it was extremely old. It its name was in old Gaelic and translated from Glanaid Draiocht it became Cleansing Magic or Purge Magic. It dealt with many old spells and rituals that cleaned or purged dark or impure magic from something or someone. It was now the day of the Hogwarts Express ride and I had only managed to learn and cast one spell.

The simply named Purge spell erased dark magic and fixed what was "wrong" with what it was cast upon. Purglantio was was spoken how it was spelled and the wand movement was a straight line down with a shift to the left and making a curving line that crosses through the initial line three times. It took a bit longer to cast than most spells but I had gotten the hang of it and could even cut out the all but the first curve inwards.

Along with the new magic I found that I could absorb silver in small amounts every day. I had gone to my gringotts vault and found some items to absorb. The first item was a monocle that the glasses I now wore were based on. They had been made of goblin silver so I absorbed it and nearly passed out from the power that entered my body. All that was left was the lens which I put back in the box and kept searching.

The next item I found was a small rod which was apparently made of mithril. Other than the material composition it was covered in unidentified symbols that resembled Norse, Celtic runes along with Egyptian hieroglyphs. It had no description other than that besides a foot note that an ancestor had managed powerful healing magic with it but other notes within discredited his claims.

I took a few more items such as a dragon bone necklace that created a powerful shield bubble around the wearer. The last thing I took was some heavily enchanted clothing that looked similar to the monk like clothes Jedi wore. I found that they also paired nicely with most modern robes and the resizing ability it had meant I would still have clothes on after a transformation.

Eventually I finished preparing for Hogwarts and rested the rest of the day. I got up in the morning and arrived slightly late to the train as I had to reassure Calay I would be fine and that I would call on her if I needed. As I got to a compartment on the train I watched through the window as the Weasley family entered the station. I got bored waiting and unfocused on the outside.

I could see myself in the window as I looked out. My long black hair had gained small silver streaks throughout which gave it a shiny salt and pepper look. I was wearing the glasses with them activated. They were clear when inactive but were currently dark blue. It was good as it stopped a lot of attention I didn't want as my left eye had regrown and was now a bright silver orb.

I had gotten taller than what I had been and now stood at 5,4 and towered over most people in my year and many who were older as at this time in history the average height of British wasn't much. I was no longer lanky after my first transformation which had compacted my muscles and burned most of my fat. The cut Fenrir had given me had healed with my eye but I was left with a scar as it was now a marked scar.

According to the books I had read about werewolves the converted were usually left with a scar at the sight of the infection. The scar was very light and thin but it shined with silver like my blood now did. After getting tired of looking out the window or at myself I sat back and began reading my book Glanaid Draiocht. While reading I found a spell that I felt resonate in my soul.

Ith Maledictus was a two word spell, cast on oneself which allowed you to devour curses of significant strength and take some of the power within them. The spell felt correct and I easily cast it on myself and could feel the effects it gave. Suddenly I could smell something wonderful outside my cabin. Before I could get up to investigate, the door opened and two children stood infront of it.

The taller red headed girl was in front and a small skinny boy was behind her. I recognized him as Harry Potter in an instant but I kept my face neutral to not let them know I knew him. That left who the girl was as I could only assume she was somehow related to Harry.

'Hi, can we join you? Most of the cabins have multiple people in them already and we don't want to be crowded.'

'Go ahead and sit I'm not expecting anyone and it would be great to have some company for this trip.'

They both entered and out their luggage in the top racks then sat down. 'Greetings I'm Venawulf Black of the Black family, who might you to be?'

Harry finally looked up at me as the redhead answered 'I'm Euphemia Potter but you can call me Effie and this is my little brother Harry Potter.' They both gave an apprehensive and tense smile at their names and I guessed they expected me to freak out like a weirdo due to the boy who lived nonsense. I simply raised an eyebrow at them and pulled out the family tree map I had gotten from gringotts. When I saw the look of realization dawn on their faces that we were related I gave them a smile.

They both looked a bit disturbed by my smile and I remembered why I had stopped any smiles I had. When I had absorbed the goblin silver my human bones and teeth had turned into silver and my canines had grown into small, sharp fangs. I probably looked like a lunatic with a crazed smile so I dropped it into the best eye smile I could give them. It was partially covered by my glasses but I could see that it got to them.

With that we began discussing who they were related to and how. Harry had even began talking as I told them what I knew of their parents and closer family. I told them that we were god siblings as their father had made mine their godfather. I also told them that Neville being their other godbrother due to Lily making Alice their godmother. After a few more minutes of talking we were interrupted by a certain redhead.
