Chapter 33: Tenseigan

Whether it was because his potential hadn't been fully unleashed or because his Chakra was insufficient, Izayoi's first awakening didn't last just a few days—it stretched on for a full two weeks.

During these two weeks, he lived like a blind person, completely devoid of light.

For others, such a situation would likely lead to deep depression and irritability.

However, Izayoi was incredibly happy.

This was because Hinata was exceptionally good at taking care of him. Just like her Yamato Nadeshiko personality, she was the epitome of a virtuous wife and nurturing mother.

Every day, she either brought meals from home or went out to buy ingredients to cook for Izayoi.

Worried that Izayoi might get tired from lying in bed, she often helped him walk around the room and living room, patiently assisting him with washing up, and even scrubbing his back and washing his hair.

If Team 8 had missions, she would take on both roles, stepping out to complete missions in Izayoi's place.

If there were no missions, she would either leave a Shadow Clone at home and come herself or send a Shadow Clone to care for Izayoi, keeping him company and ensuring he didn't feel lonely.

All Izayoi had to do was eat when food was served and dress when clothes were handed to him, living like a complete invalid.

And Hinata was thoroughly enjoying it.

Having been cared for by Izayoi since childhood, this was the first time she was taking care of him. Every day was filled with motivation, and even in her dreams, she would imagine herself caring for Izayoi and receiving his praise.

Fortunately, Hiashi Hyuga didn't witness such scenes, or he would have felt his fists tightening.

But happy times always pass quickly.

After half a month of living as a blind person, with his brain secreting Chakra daily and his eyeballs feeling as though something was wriggling inside, Izayoi finally felt everything calm down.

The first stage of the Power of All Things… had manifested!

On this day, Hinata drew the curtains, closed the door, and began unwrapping Izayoi's bandages while asking curiously, "Izayoi-kun, is your Kekkei Genkai also an Eye Technique?"

"Yes," Izayoi nodded.

"Could it be that you've awakened the legendary Rinnegan, or perhaps the Crimson Eye that can counter the Byakugan?" Hinata's curiosity grew.

'Why not the Blood Dragon Eye?' Izayoi thought to himself, but on the surface, he shook his head and said, "I'm not sure. If it weren't for my brain suddenly secreting Chakra, I wouldn't have known I had awakened a Kekkei Genkai through a generational leap. You'll see in a moment."

"Mhm…" Hinata quickly removed the bandages and stood in front of Izayoi, staring intently at his closed eyes.

When Izayoi opened his eyelids, Hinata's eyes widened in awe, and she covered her mouth in surprise. "Such beautiful eyes…"

In the dimly lit room, Izayoi's eyes glowed like luminous pearls, shimmering with a blue-white light.

The whites of his eyes remained, but the irises had turned a sky-blue color, and even the pupils had become blue, emitting a white radiance that formed a delicate, white floral pattern around them—utterly breathtaking.

These eyes might have reappeared after a thousand years, or perhaps they were making their first appearance on Earth.

They didn't belong to the three great Eye Techniques, nor were they the Crimson Eye that could counter the Byakugan, nor the Blood Dragon Eye of the Chinoike clan. Instead, they were on par with the legendary leader of the three great Eye Techniques, possessing the power of destruction and creation—the Tenseigan.

"What immense Eye Power, it's completely on another level..."

Izayoi raised his hand and touched the corner of his right eye. While his gaze seemed fixed on Hinata in front of him, it had already penetrated the house, the streets, the village, the forest, the city... transforming into an invisible net that enveloped the entire Land of Fire.

The Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan (Gold) with its 80-kilometer range of far-sight was already astonishing enough.

Yet, compared to the far-sight of the Tenseigan, it was like comparing a seasoned warrior to a newborn baby.

In this world, it was the difference between Super Kage-level and Kage-level, completely on another dimension.

Just by completing the first fetal movement, Izayoi could already see the entire Land of Fire.

What about after the second fetal movement, and the final evolution?

By then, how exaggerated would the range of his far-sight become? Retracting his far-reaching gaze, Izayoi looked at the bowing Hinata in front of him, his eyes fixed on the exquisitely shaped black headlights wrapped in black fishnet lining, the zipper of her jacket not pulled up. Suddenly, the corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

Good grief, she actually has a built-in green and healthy harmony system.

Indeed, Izayoi had just tested the X-ray Vision of the Tenseigan.

After the Byakugan evolved into the Tenseigan, the images Izayoi saw were no longer in black and white.

The far-sight was astonishing, and the X-ray Vision could easily penetrate any object or building.

Thus, Izayoi did what any man with X-ray Vision would want to do.

However, when Izayoi used his X-ray Vision on a human body, he didn't see what he wanted to see. Instead, he saw colored bones, internal organs, meridians, and Chakra.

What a piece of junk!

Izayoi thought to himself.

But then he remembered that there was also a Tenseigan on the moon, and his mood instantly improved. It's good that he couldn't see! Noticing the change in Izayoi's expression, Hinata asked curiously, "Izayoi-kun, are you exploring the abilities of your Kekkei Genkai?"

"Yes."

Izayoi nodded with a smile and said, "My Eye Technique is probably not the Rinnegan or the Crimson Eye you mentioned, but a completely new, or perhaps long-lost, Eye Technique."

"What are its abilities?" Hinata asked with great interest.

"Its ability is this... Rise!"

Izayoi raised his hand towards Hinata.

In the next second, Hinata's body seemed to have left Earth and entered outer space, free from gravity, floating towards Izayoi.

Then, a dramatic scene unfolded.

Perhaps because it was his first time using the Attraction Technique, Izayoi exerted too much force and didn't notice how close he was to Hinata.

Hinata, who was already eight centimeters shorter than Izayoi, floated slightly higher than him as he sat in his chair.

Her flying body directly knocked Izayoi to the ground.

"Ouch, ouch..."

Cries of pain immediately echoed in the room.

However, Hinata was unharmed, as the impact had been miraculously dissipated. The cries of pain were from the fall.

"Iz... Izayoi-kun, are you okay?"

Hinata, lying on top of Izayoi without a scratch, quickly asked with concern.

"Cough... I'm fine, just overexerted myself."

Izayoi hugged Hinata and stood up, smiling. "That was my ability just now."

Hinata recalled the scene and asked uncertainly, "Was that... Wind Release?"

"No, this is attraction, and then... repulsion."

Izayoi glanced around, his gaze settling on a decorative vase.

Then, he pointed his finger in the air.

Crack—

The sound of the vase shattering echoed.

However, the vase wasn't struck by anything. Instead, it suddenly flew toward the wall and shattered upon impact.

The fragments of the vase didn't fall to the ground but floated in the air, as if they had a mind of their own, and then flew into the trash bin.

"Amazing... truly amazing."

Hinata's expression was one of utter astonishment.

Izayoi, who was alternating between attraction and repulsion, allowed a slight smile to curl at the corners of his lips, thinking to himself.

'Finally, I have the ability to protect myself!'

The evolution of the Byakugan into the Tenseigan, and its first awakening, had granted Izayoi two foundational abilities and three major powers.

The two foundational abilities were naturally the enhanced long-range vision and X-ray vision.

As for the three major powers, they were attraction, repulsion, and... wireless puppetry.

Rather than calling it wireless puppetry, it was more like an alternative form of the Six Paths Technique.

Izayoi could use the Tenseigan to condense Chakra and infuse it into the Chakra Core of a puppet, granting it life (a heart) and allowing him to control the puppet from an extreme distance.

These puppets could also mobilize the Chakra within their bodies to release light-based attacks.

Unfortunately, he didn't yet possess Yin-Yang Release, or else he could have used it to create Black Rods and remotely supply Chakra to the puppets.

Izayoi thought to himself, then summoned a screen that only he could see.

After the Byakugan evolved into the Tenseigan, the entry for Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan in the talent list had been updated to Tenseigan, and its rank had changed from gold to red.

Moreover, just by completing the first awakening, the Tenseigan's ranking had surpassed that of the Otsutsuki Bloodline, taking the top spot.

"The Ultimate Eye Technique truly exists above the red rank," Izayoi murmured to himself.
