Back in the Adome galaxy the capital galaxy of the chastity domain in the star world Vode the home star world of Uriel of Chastity. Uriel was sitting in her bed hidden behind veils of red silk.

So how is my little boy doing? She asked the woman kneeling infront of her. It was a woman with black hair wearing a maid uniform of black and white.

He is doing well my lady, he has settled on star world Nodal in the Crave galaxy, he became an adventure and apparently has a healers class.

Healer? He didn't strike me as the healer type, he seemed more like a heartless killer, okay you can get back to your duties, she said to the maid.

Yes my lady, said the maid and disappeared in a flicker. Sitting alone she was thinking about what happened the day he disappeared.

It was truly a strange coincidence or so she thought. At first she thought the arrival of the void whales was a coincidence. They were a family of whales that wondered the void sea in her territory.

Void whales were not aggressive creatures, they consumed star essence and dead star worlds, they tend to avoid star worlds with life in them so it made no sense that they would attack her world.

According to the report she received,a star crystal which is crystallized star essence appeared near the family of whales, a young one chased after it, star crystals were their favourite meal after all.

The young creature was then sucked into a spatial dimension which had not been detected by the void sea station before and it appeared here.

The older beasts followed after it and all this happened just when she was about to kiss her beloved. She was consumed with anger at that time and went to fight the rampaging beasts.

Now that she thinks about it she did feel a shift in fate at that time. Is somebody trying to mess with her? Or was it related to her dear Clark?

The more she learns about him the more interesting he becomes and the fact that when she used the crystal ball of seers she did not see him, it was as if he does not exist in the strings of fate.

She giggled softly, oh my sweet sweet Clark, I wonder what surprise you will have for me next, Mia, she called and the maid appeared again like a shadow. I need you to deliver a letter for me.

It been 5 days since he met that group, during the last 5 days he had been training his hand to hand combat and swordmanship.

He has yet to achieve enough skill in them for it to be recorded by the system as a skill However he had improved rapidly. Even without his high stats he would probably be the best fighter in his previous world.

The standards here were much higher, his skill was barely considered a skill at all but he was not seeking to be a swordsman and it was enough to know how to swing a sword.

It was time to meet that party again, he had made up his mind, although he would prefer to work alone he needed to complete enough missions for a promotion fast.

He needed higher graded missions to hunt in order to grow stronger faster. He did think about just going to the forest and start killing but that would lend him in trouble.

The city and adventure guild had monopoly over the forest and one needed permission to either hunt or gather herbs in the forest. Killing to defend yourself was understandable but actively hunting without permission was not.

Infact as an adventurer if you go around hunting higher ranked beasts you might have your licence suspended as that was against the rules, it had something to do with giving new adventurers a bad idea that they could also do it and get themselves killed.

That why the first few missions involve simple things like gathering herbs in relatively safe places, he was just unlucky. One has to prove themselves capable in order to be allowed to pick hunting missions or do the missions with an already established adventurer or party.

He went to take a shower, changed into new casual clothes he bought for his everyday use then went to the adventures guild. He waited there for about an hour as he did not see the party.

Just as he was about to leave they entered, the fancy sword guy was walking in front like he owned the place, he decided to check how strong this fool was.

He was weaker than he thought, he knew low grade classes did not promise much in terms of stats but this was overwhelming, the same went for his skill, he was really wondering where the guy even got his confidence from.

However he was no fool, he knew stats were only one aspect of ones strength. Infact one may believe somebody with str of 20 is two times more powerful than a normal human with a str value of 10 but that is not true.

According to Von the increase is not so straight forward, there is no perfect way to calculate the increase. The difference usually differs from person to person depending on their physic.

Infact due the fact that most races have better physics than humans even if they have the same str value they might still be stronger than humans.

Physic are a body attributes, the system does not record them unless they reach a certain level. Although that is the case, there is a general difference he was able to notice.

The increase in strength usually ranges from 2 to 5 percent per stat increase. The difference in stats become even less apparent if there is a difference in grades.

Even if you have higher stats you might not be stronger than your opponent if they are of higher grade than you. Rising in grade increase the purity of ones mana thus strengthening their physic, due to the increase in physic there is an increase in every stats by a certain factor across the board.

It also makes it such that the increase in ability between each stat might be 10 to 15 percent. So even though he had higher stats he might not necessarily be stronger if the guy uses his purer mana to strengthen his body.

Even so, having higher stats than your opponents does mean you can possibly bridge the gap in ranks which is impressive and why people want higher graded classes so much.

The grades are also divided into four levels, from low to peak so even if they are of the same grade some classes are still stronger than others.

Another factor at play are skills, if one have higher graded and higher ranked skills they can even fight people and beast much stronger than them in stats.

Also skills become much stronger when used by higher ranked people, if two people used the same skill the higher ranked one will make it stronger even if the rank of the skill itself is the same.

With all of these factors in place he did not want to underestimate the guy, well he was not one to underestimate his opponents either way.
