I was born into a modest viscount family with a simple dream: to live a quiet, cozy life with my familiars, far away from the headaches of high society. That dream crumbled the day I was kidnapped by none other than Archduke William Alastair—known as the empire's most feared man, a warbeast.



Apparently, a mysterious informant told him that my familiars possess the power to suppress the curse he bears—news to me.



"Even if that’s true, I’ve never heard of it, so there’s no way I’d know how to wield that kind of power!"

"Then you'll stay here until you figure it out. Only then will I let you go."
