I really liked it. The different races and gifts and the details of the world enrich the story a lot. I'm already putting together hypotheses and questions in my mind. And that's a sign that the story is good.
It's been a long time since I read something so good. The first chapters introduce the characters. But the universe that develops in the background already fascinates me. I love stories with a solid foundation. Where the who and why are clear. I'm waiting for the next chapters.
I suppose that the story starts of kind of rough but it has it own hooks that grab onto you, the mystery of the story adds to the weight and introduces you to the heavy stakes that the character has. I look forward to it.
