Evan responded with modesty, "It's mainly because Mrs. Lindsay teaches well." His words were sincere, as he acknowledged the significant role his teacher had played in his writing abilities. Among the five head teachers of the first grade, Lindsay was the most senior and experienced, with a unique approach to teaching composition.

Her expertise had consistently yielded impressive results, with their class's Korean language scores far surpassing those of the entire grade.
