Yue rushed to them and grabbed Chan's hand.
"Chan, help me—something happened to His Majesty. He collapsed out of nowhere."
Both Chan and Zhi went into the bedroom to check on Hao. He was still unconscious.
Seeing that, Zhi's eyes widened, because in his so-called mind, he was thinking something else.
"Shit, I didn't teach Hao anything. That's why he doesn't have stamina. But my lady, you can't leave him just 'cause of his poor performance?"
Yue made a weird face because he didn't understand what Zhi meant.
"What do you mean by this?"
Chan quickly stood between them. "Your Highness, why don't you go and take a rest? We'll take care of this."
"But His Majesty is unconscious. How can I leave him here alone? What if he needs me?"
"No, Your Highness, he won't need you. And if he does, I'll call you right away."
Hearing Chan, Yue nodded at Zhi and left. Chan had already sent Song and Prince Han to their chambers in the Empress Manor. Yue also went there directly, since the system was guiding him.
["Bunny, what do you think happened to that emperor all of a sudden? Why did he collapse? Wait—don't tell me he's about to die?"
"I don't think that's the case, Host. It's something else. Don't you think it was weird? Like, he was fit and fine right in front of you, then he passed out."
"Wait, then—is he possessed by a ghost?"
"Don't know."]
While talking, when Yue stepped through the door, Han came running to him.
"What did the emperor do to you? Why did he take you with him in the first place?"
Yue smiled seeing Han and noticed Song also coming out after him. They didn't seem to know that Hao had collapsed, so he decided to keep quiet.
"Nothing, he just wanted to talk with me, nothing else. But Prince Han, why do you seem down? Don't have to worry about me."
Han grabbed Yue's hand, and the two of them went inside and sat on the bench in the yard. The view was very nice, giving off a sort of fantastical vibe.
Yue and Han were sitting on the bench, while Song stood behind them.
"What's your name?" Han asked.
"Yue."
"I'll try to remember. Yue."
"Sure, Prince Han."
["Bunny, do you think we've completed at least 50% of our mission or not?"
"Why are you asking that?"
"'Cause I read the rules for this dimension—that until the mission is 50% complete, we can't behave out of character."
"Huh? Who told you that? Those rules mean nothing in female-oriented worlds. In this department, we can behave however we want. They just tell us to complete the mission at any cost."
"And host, are those rules the reason you were forcing myself to stay in character?"
"Yes. You know how much I've endured?"
"Ohh, my host… There are no rules here stopping you. Those rules were an error. So you can complete the mission however you want."
"Now… now I've come to the battlefield."]
A smirk spread across Yue's face, hearing that he could do whatever he wanted—no need to endure anything anymore.
"Yue, what are you thinking?"
Yue's attention shifted to Han. He was looking at him with innocent eyes, looking so adorable.
"I'm not thinking anything, kiddo."
Han's eyes widened, and he couldn't believe what Yue had just called him.
Even if no one cared about Han, he was still a prince—nearly a crown prince—and Yue calling him kiddo all of a sudden, speaking informally, was something Han didn't understand at all.
"Did you just call me kiddo?" he asked, pointing at himself.
Yue stretched out his hand and patted Han's head.
"Kiddo, chill down... You're only five years old and you want me to talk to you formally?"
Han became silent and just kept staring at Yue. But something else came into Yue's mind.
"Song."
Song quickly stepped in front of him and stood. "Yes, Master?"
"Go and bring rice wine for me. I feel like drinking."
"Rice wine? You've never drunk alcohol before, Master."
"Song, do you think I was asking for your opinion?"
"Sorry, Master."
Song left and asked the other servants where the kitchen was, then went to bring the rice wine for Yue. Meanwhile, Yue was sitting there, looking around.
"Hey, kiddo, do you hate your father?"
Han's facial expression changed the moment he heard Hao's name. Because even though he hated Hao, deep down he still longed for his love. He also wished that his father would treat him better.
["Host, this kid still loves his father... but I'm not sure about his father."
"That emperor is a real bastard, you know—for hating this little kid and doing all those awful things."
"Host, that 'bastard emperor' is your husband, don't forget that."
"Hey, what's with the 'husband' talk, huh? He's a bastard who only knows how to eat shit without taking a break. That's why his mind is full of shit too."
"Host, don't ever say your thoughts out loud—or else he'll kill you instead of loving you."
"I don't want any advice from you."]
After that, Song brought the rice wine, and Yue finished it in just five minutes. In the evening, when he went to meet Hao, the guards stopped him, saying His Majesty was resting, so he couldn't come in.
And just like that, a week passed.
Then, a big piece of news came to Yue.
"His Majesty has married a princess from a nearby kingdom and made her the empress right away. He never officially made you empress. That means His Majesty was lying."
Song told Yue what he had heard from all the servants.
Because throughout the entire imperial palace, people were talking—saying that after using Yue, Hao had thrown him aside and brought in a new empress.
["Host, that emperor is really a shithead. Are we going to take this disrespect so easily?"
"Nope, Bunny. Eye for an eye. Now I'm gonna play the game my way."]
