The Apocalypse Kaden Controls

"It seems like you're the one controlling these people... Say, you're starting an apocalypse, don't you think? Just like in the movies—they're just walking dead under your control," Xiandre replied.

"Do you think I care? I did all of this so I can take revenge on you! You killed all of my friends, and now you shall suffer too!" Kaden exclaimed as he lifted his hand and pointed it at Xiandre.

Suddenly, all the adventurers and citizens began moving. They snapped through their own flesh.

The bones that kept them trapped were left there with limbs or flesh, as blood covered the ground.

The first adventurer jumped at Velmora, but Velmora jumped up, escaping the adventurer's blade. As another one came jumping up at her, she swiftly back-kicked it in the head, snapping its neck immediately.

Suddenly, a mage lifted her wand with a spell.

"Oh divine arrows of heaven, pierce my enemy!" the controlled mage chanted.

Suddenly, arrows of divine light came flying toward Velmora. Fillia jumped right in front of her and summoned a portal as the divine arrows were swallowed by it.

Then another portal opened and blasted the divine arrows back at the caster.

An adventurer in a golden plate charged his sword and pointed it at Amelia.

A beam of fire came bursting out of it.

Amelia teleported out of the way, then lifted her hand and summoned a Skull Blaster. As she closed her fist, it blasted the adventurer.

Then more adventurers came charging at Amelia, but she easily dodged all of their attacks with a yawn.

She then summoned several bones that pierced through the ground and hit the adventurers directly in the head, killing them.

"Oh shit, I accidentally killed some," Amelia replied.

"Master, should we really not kill them?" Fillia asked.

Xiandre answered silently. As an adventurer came charging at him, Xiandre kicked the adventurer directly in the chest, making him vomit blood. He then grabbed his head and slammed it to the ground, knocking him unconscious.

"It's okay to kill some—they are dead in the inside anyways," Xiandre replied.

More citizens came, along with more adventurers who were still not under Kaden's manipulation, but they were left speechless at how Xiandre and his group easily fought off such high-ranking adventurers.

The silver-plated and bronze were easily demolished. As for the gold-plated, they were the ones who stood strong.

A gold-plated adventurer jumped into the air. He pulled out his massive axe and landed it directly on Xiandre's head.

The impact made the ground crack, yet Xiandre wasn't fazed. His helmet was too strong—the adventurer's axe didn't make a scratch. Xiandre stood there as he grabbed him by the neck and punched him in the stomach.

His punch was strong enough to make the golden-plated black out the moment his fist met his body.

Xiandre threw him onto the ground as more came charging.

"There's not that many platinum adventurers here..." Xiandre muttered to himself.

"Eh, I guess we're just gonna watch them?" Alice replied.

"I mean, like, there is really nothing we could do because we're passive," Millie replied back.

Citizens came running toward them.

"Sleep, young ones," Fillia chanted, and the citizens fell to the ground immediately.

Xiandre turned to Kaden, who was sweating as he realized they had the upper hand. He took several steps back. He turned his head and saw the girls around Xiandre.

"What are you, some type of woman collector? Even the priestess is part of your girls now? You make me sick, Xiandre," Kaden replied.

Xiandre lifted his sword, pulling it out of its sheath. He calmly sighed, and with one swipe from his sword, a massive black fire enveloped the area, shattering through the force of controlled adventurers and citizens.

The black fire created a loud BANG as it decapitated a straight line. Kaden watched, barely an inch away from the attack.

"Are you underestimating me?" Xiandre inquired.

At the castle, King Dula stood on his balcony, watching over the massive black fire that exploded in the middle of town.

"What the heck is going on down there?" he said to himself.

Queen Alina walked behind him, and he turned his gaze toward her.

Alina watched the massive black fire.

"That's..." Queen Alina muttered.

"Huh!? You know about this!? Tell me!" King Dula exclaimed as he approached her.

"Tsk. I already told you—I warned you about the Smiling Reaper. Why do you think you can defeat him?" Queen Alina mocked with a grin.

King Dula gritted his teeth and threw a punch directly at her face, knocking her to the ground. He then summoned golden divine chains that locked onto Alina's wrists.

She was stuck there as King Dula threw another punch at her face.

"I don't like your attitude. After I kill that Smiling Reaper everyone's talking about, maybe I should even erase your little daughter, Neru," King Dula replied coldly.

"Don't you fucking dare touch her. I will never forgive you..." Alina replied, her eyes dead serious, locked onto King Dula's.

"I don't care. I'll dispose of you anyway afterwards," King Dula replied as he turned to leave, leaving the bruised Alina on the balcony, still locked in divine chains.

As King Dula's footsteps faded, she glanced at the divine chains while he opened the door and locked it shut.

Alina tried to break the chains with her strength, but it was no use—she was just stuck there.

She fell into tears as her nose bled, looking up at the sky in misery.

"Neru... I'm sorry. But our only hope is the Smiling Reaper himself. He needs to kill your father and set us free..." she muttered under her breath.

She turned her eyes down to the town below and saw the massive wall of black fire disappearing.

Back with Xiandre and the others, he stood there, looking at Kaden as the adventurers and citizens under Kaden's control continued to charge at them.

"You're... You're a monster..." Kaden said, trembling.

The tavern master, along with the girls who worked in the tavern, exited after hearing the massive bang and saw it.

As the massive fire slowly faded, the other adventurers and citizens who hadn't been controlled also watched in total silence.

"That... That's the Smiling Reaper..." one of the adventurers exclaimed.

"No shit. Just like the queen's report—he can create a massive wall of fire that managed to defeat Goddess Fillia..." the adventurers murmured.

Suddenly, some fell to the ground trembling. Some ran. Everything descended into chaos.

The controlled adventurers and citizens stopped as Kaden lifted his hand to halt them.

"There's no way I can kill you..." Kaden exclaimed.

Xiandre approached him.

"Looks like the fight ended fast," Amelia said, yawning as she tried to fall to the ground, but Velmora caught her in time.

"Sleepy already?" Velmora replied.

"Uwaaaa... Of course. Nothing's better than sleeping after a fight... Well I guess it's not better than getting fucked by Xiandre then sleeping," Amelia replied.

Kaden trembled, overwhelmed with anger, fear, and confusion.

"Configuration procedure, SYSTEM!" he chanted aloud as his system window appeared.

He immediately scrolled down his skills as fast as he could, desperately searching for some way to make a comeback.

But Xiandre was already in front of him. Xiandre punched his system window, shattering it.

"What the... THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE HALLO—" he exclaimed, but his voice cut off.

Suddenly, his voice disappeared. Then he felt both his legs give out beneath him. As he fell to the ground, leaning down, he saw both of his legs were gone.

Xiandre looked down at him with a cold gaze from under his helmet.

Kaden screamed in pain, but no sound came out. Xiandre punched him in the face—holding back just enough so he wouldn't die immediately.

His skull cracked, yet he remained alive. His head bled, but no voice came out.

He cried, screaming silently, as Xiandre began peeling the skin from his body.

"That's unnecessary..." Ruby muttered, looking away.

"Do you want death?" Xiandre asked.

Kaden nodded furiously, yelling yes without a voice, trembling in terror, begging for death to end his suffering.

"Do you remember the first time we met?" Xiandre asked calmly.

Kaden continued to cry as he suffered, and Xiandre pierced his palm—then his feet.

"You talked to me first. You said there was a leaf on my hair," Xiandre continued. "I thanked you for telling me. Then we went on to be friends. You were usually the nerd and smart guy in our group, but still a cool dude."

"You didn't have a happy family, but you were a hardworking guy—doing part-time jobs, writing manga so you could live a healthy life."

Xiandre dug his fingers into Kaden's eyes and pulled them out. Kaden's world turned red, then black. The agony was unbearable. Xiandre fed him his own eyes.

"You were a very nice guy. You got hurt easily when people talked bad about you... You were so innocent."

Xiandre lifted him by the neck and threw him toward a wall, then followed up with a kick.

He picked him up again and punched his mouth—Kaden's teeth scattered instantly, blood covering his face.

"Well, you were—until you were sent into this world, and decided to show your true self."

Xiandre grabbed Kaden's tongue tightly—and tore it out.

Kaden was now bound to die slowly. Xiandre dropped him to the ground.

"What a massive change of mentality... Your personality changed too much."

Kaden coughed and gagged on his own blood, bleeding out from his missing limbs and tongue, as he slowly took his final breath.

"Goodnight, old friend," Xiandre muttered coldly. "This was bound to happen by fate."
