A Journey from Hope to Heartbreak"

The girl who told him, "You stay in the car," suddenly ran out of the car and called, "Aadhira! Aadhira!" ignoring the one who asked, "Hey Geetha! Where are you going? Stop!" Aadhira turned around, and there stood her classmate, Geetha.

"Hi Geetha," Aadhira greeted, and walked over to the car.

Inside the car, Saithanya was observing Aadhira. She didn't realize he was inside, but Saithanya clearly saw her face and kept looking at it closely.

"What is it, Geetha?" Aadhira asked.

"I have a doubt in one of the subjects, Aadhira. Can I come to you in the afternoon? Will you help me out?" Geetha asked.

"That's fine, Geetha. Come to the afternoon canteen. We'll discuss it there," Aadhira said, and left with her friend Lalitha.

Once she left, Geetha told her brother to get out of the car.

"Anna, the girl I just called and spoke to—that's her, right?" she asked.

"Yes, Geetha," Saithanya replied, still looking at Aadhira walking away.

"Oh wow, that's enough, Anna. Got a crush, huh? Her name is Aadhira, she's from Kumbakonam. Right now, she's studying here, staying in the college hostel. That's all I know for now. I've become a bit friendly with her, I'll introduce you both soon, okay? After that, it's up to you—your love story," said Geetha playfully.

"What? Love?" Saithanya asked, startled, staring at her.

"Well, you keep staring at her like that... secretly admiring her... thinking about her all night and then showing up at our place early in the morning. Hmm, if that's not love, what is? Forget it! I won't even be able to eat today because of you," Geetha teased.

"You've become spoiled watching too many movies. Are you at least studying well? Or have you flunked any papers?" he asked.

"Excuse me, we're not fools. We study well. Our heads are full of knowledge," she said proudly.

"Whether it's knowledge or snacks in your head, you'd better graduate properly. Only then will I give you a job at my hospital. Otherwise, no chance," he warned.

"What?! No job? Hello, I haven't even introduced that girl to you yet, remember? Whether you get close to her is in my hands. Don't forget that. If you want me to come with you every day for pick-up and drop-off, you better play nice," she said, threateningly.

"Oh no, please help me out. I'll do whatever you say," he pleaded.

Geetha thought for a moment. "Alright, Anna. You've helped me a lot. Let me return the favor and do this for you. Consider it my gratitude," she said generously.

"Okay then, will you introduce her to me this evening when I come to pick you up?" he asked.

"Yes, I will. But you have to come pick me up before Paari does. What if he comes early?" she asked.

"Hmmm…" he thought for a moment. "Okay, I'll handle Paari. I'll pick you up this evening. Just make sure to bring her along."

"I don't know whether I came here to study medicine or to find you a bride," Geetha laughed as she walked away.

That evening, Saithanya finished his work at the hospital and called Paari to tell him that he himself would be picking up Geetha. Before Paari could ask questions, he hung up and went to pick up Geetha at the college. Geetha came out, bringing Aadhira along. Saithanya couldn't help but admire how cleverly Geetha had arranged everything.

When Geetha introduced Aadhira and Lalitha to Saithanya, she said, "Anna, this is Aadhira, and this is Lalitha. They need to go shopping for some things. Since they're staying in the hostel, they have to return on time, otherwise, there'll be issues. So let's take them shopping and drop them back, okay?"

Hearing that, Saithanya felt like whistling in his mind and said, "Okay." He took all three of them to the mall. Geetha sat beside him in the front, while Aadhira and Lalitha sat in the back.

On the way, he kept glancing at Aadhira through the rearview mirror. Aadhira, too, noticed Saithanya. His masculine shoulders, commanding presence, and intense eyes were impressive.

Geetha, who had been singing his praises since morning, had told Aadhira that Saithanya was a doctor, a friend of her brother, the owner of a hospital, and a senior from the same college.

Aadhira kept thinking about everything Geetha had said as she watched Saithanya, while he continued stealing glances at her through the mirror. They communicated with their eyes. Love was born between them that very day.

But Aadhira was hesitant to express her feelings. In the days that followed, they exchanged phone numbers and began talking more openly.

Aadhira made sure Lalitha didn't find out she was talking to Saithanya. Saithanya, learning about her modest background, loved her even more. Aadhira often said, "If you deceive me, my parents won't be able to handle it."

Saithanya would calm her down, saying, "Hey! I love you because I want to marry you, not to deceive you."

Still, Aadhira insisted they keep their relationship a secret until she completed her final year. So, except for Geetha, no one else knew about their love. Their relationship was going well.

Once, he convinced her to come with him to Mahabalipuram. Those were the most beautiful days of their love. He vowed in his heart that if he ever married, it would be only to Aadhira.

The next day, Aadhira refused to meet him. He thought maybe she was upset because he had touched her before marriage. He patiently waited, thinking she'd come around in a few days.

But even after ten days, she didn't contact him. When he called her, he found out she had changed her number.

He had no idea why. A few days later, she sent a letter to Geetha to give to him.

Reading that letter shocked him. It said that they weren't compatible and it was better to break up. She warned that if he tried to contact her again, she would take her own life.

More than sadness, anger overtook him. He never imagined that this would be a permanent breakup. He drove straight to the college hostel, only to learn that she had vacated her room and gone back to her hometown. It felt like a huge rock had fallen on his head.

Even then, he didn't go to her hometown to trouble her. Though Geetha tried to console him, he couldn't recover from the heartbreak.

Some days later, Geetha came to him with a wedding invitation. It was Aadhira's wedding card. He felt like his breath stopped upon seeing it.

He wondered if she had betrayed him. Overcome with grief, he immersed himself in car racing.

Months later, one day he went to visit Paari. Unaware of his presence, Geetha was talking to Paari in her room. Saithanya overheard their conversation...
