Victor and the soldiers soon arrived at the other side.
the place was covered with woods. mind you, only 10% of the forsaken lands where woods, dividing the forsaken land in two parts. it was a sort of natural barrier to keep outsiders outside.
But anyway, Victor's cheat party, which had the '/tp' command, arrived at the other side.
although it was 10 percent, it was still 50km wide and over a thousand kilometer long forest. and that was just 10 percent! imagine the other 90% of dry plains and deserts. all because of corrupt Qi, after all spiritual Qi is the essence of life. people with high amounts of spiritual Qi didn't need to eat or sleep and still survive for months!
On the other side,
they arrived, and they could see a purplish sky above them just outside the forest.
Their army had arrived at the border of the forest and the demon city.
"My Liege, if you will allow me, then I would like to take this charge.", said Veyron, asking for permission.
"Okay. Make sure to bring me the enemy head.", said Victor.
"Okay, listen up! So Here's the Plan." Veyron turned around and explained the plan to the soldiers.
The plan was for Veyron and 10 of the guards to come with him, teleporting just outside the castle walls. They couldn't go inside because there was a spatial stabilization formation.
The rest of the guards will teleport just behind every guard, guarding the city posts and teleporting behind them to kill them in an instant. Every Eclipse knight could teleport to the shadows as long as they were within ninthe vicinity. Or else they could teleport to each other. Mind you, these demons, althoughthey lived in a city, were all man eating monsters. they where not sentient enough and couldn't control their bloodlust. the only sentient ones where the higher ups in the castle and those too where no saints. you could even say that every demon in this city was a slave to these people.
Soon, everyone, along with Veyron, started teleporting behind every guard and massacring everything.
Veyron and the ten Eclipse Knights appeared just outside the castle wall.
Their white armor reflected the dim, purplish light from the sky, but they moved without a sound. No one spoke. The corrupted land around them was silent, except for the distant growls of demon beasts in the city.
They stuck to the shadows and circled the outer walls. The spatial stabilization formation prevented teleporting inside, but that didn't stop them from climbing up the side.
Meanwhile, across the demon city, other Eclipse Knights had already started the assault.
Teleporting behind every demon sentry, they moved like ghosts. One by one, demons guarding towers, watchposts, and rooftops were silently killed. Their black blood stained the streets, but no alarms were raised.
The demon city had no idea it was already falling.
Back at the castle, Veyron and his men finally found a side entrance.
They slipped inside.
Inside the dark halls, demons wandered, unaware. Veyron gave a signal. In one clean sweep, his squad ambushed a group of demon guards, killing them before they could react.
Now deep inside the castle, the Eclipse Knights split into formation. Veyron led the way toward the throne room.
The sounds of footsteps and growling echoed from the hallway ahead. Then came the five generals.
Each one was massive—taller and bulkier than an average demon, wearing thick black armor, weapons drawn. Their corrupted Qi filled the air like pressure in a storm.
They saw the invaders at last.
"Humans?!" one of them snarled.
"Follow the plan, 5 knights, search the castle and kill every other demon you find. rescue any humans you might find. also don't let a single demon run out of the castle."
"Now! Go! Go! Go!", said Veyron as he started moving towards the throne from the side.
Instantly the remaining 5 knights, started battling the generals. One General tried to stop veyron but was instantly intercepted in a sword battle with the knight.
A general activated his Demonic Technique.
"Abyssal Blade Art: 30 Demonic Swords!"
The area darkened. Corrupt Qi became 3 Times denser. This was a demonic technique. a forbidden art. if a human practiced it, they would be considered demonic in nature even if they are human. as such many human worshipers who worshiped the demons practiced these arts, earning the demons karma.
30 Sword Blades that looked like as if coming from the abyss materialized, rotating vertically in the air. then, All of the Swords pointed at the knight, as if he was a enemy who needed to be eliminated. and then....
**wooosh**
all the swords started Dashing towards the knight.
The Knight also activated a technique.
"Temporal Sword Style: First Form"
"Reversal Echo Blade!"
Instantly a golden clock materialized behind the helmet of the knight. Its hands running at a speed that was very fast, as if time was fast forwarding.
instantly, the sword in his hand dropped.
The Sword should have dropped and make a clang sound of dropping, but instead...
*drip*
A Sound came as if something was dropped in water.. and the sword drowned in the ground.
instantly a golden aura spread throughout the area, reversing everything!
All the corrupt Qi got converted into spiritual qi, the technique that was cast towards the knight suddenly stopped. the blood red swords turned golden, changing the direction towards the general.
And then..
***Woooosh!***
The Swords Dashed towards the general at a speed many times greater than before, it's power also many times greater than before. Before the general could even retaliate, he was stabbed with thirty swords from all angles. heck even his butthole didn't survived.
Shortly after, Veyron arrived at the throne room.
The power level between a grandmaster and a paragon had a vast difference. if a grandmaster's Spiritual pool was the size of a bucket of water, then the Paragon's pool was the size of pond. that much was the difference. and demon lords had one more strength. they where famous for their body arts! heck their body arts where best in all the realms that exist!
The throne room was vast, but not majestic—more like a battlefield's aftermath made into a hall of power. Cracked obsidian tiles stretched across the floor, etched with glowing crimson runes that pulsed in rhythm with the Demon Lord's corrupted Qi. Every step echoed with a dull, metallic thud, as if the very stones resented being stepped upon.
The walls were made of dark, jagged stone—natural formations twisted by corrupted energy. Jagged spikes jutted outward, some still stained with dried blood from past executions. Chains hung from the ceiling like iron cobwebs, swaying slightly despite the still air. Faint whispers could be heard when standing too close—souls bound to the iron, tortured for eternity.
At the far end of the room, raised upon a wide stone platform, sat the throne.
It was no elegant seat of power. Forged from fused bones and black iron, the throne resembled a grotesque altar more than a chair. Skulls of fallen enemies were embedded in its base—some still bearing flickers of cursed flame in their sockets.
Behind the throne, a massive tattered banner hung—displaying the sigil of the Demon Lord: a three-eyed beast devouring a sun.
On either side of the throne, demonic statues of past generals stood watch. Though unmoving, their eyes glowed faintly, hinting at the dark will that lingered within.
Above the throne, a fractured ceiling allowed beams of the purple-hued sky to pierce through—twisted sunlight that bathed the Demon Lord in a dim, otherworldly glow.
Unlike the opulence of a Demon King's court, where divine corruption weaved into cosmic law, the Mortal Demon Lord's domain was crude, cruel, and raw. Power here was not celebrated—it was feared.
