Fire Thief's Battle

"Don't thank me, as long as you're both okay, I'm satisfied," Trianne comforted Castorice softly.

Castorice nodded lightly.

The two then prepared to set off.

Just then, Trianne's phone rang. She took the phone out of her clothes and glanced at the name on it.

"Little Castorice, wait a moment, it's Aya."

She answered the communication link.

"Aya, what's wrong? Did something happen?"

"My Master, are you planning to head to Castrum Kremnos?" Aglaea asked Trianne softly.

Trianne replied, "Little Castorice and I saw a distress letter from Little Derick. Little Castorice and I plan to go to Castrum Kremnos immediately. Regardless of the actual situation, we have to go take a look."

Aglaea continued, "My Master, there are intense energy fluctuations coming from Castrum Kremnos right now. You and Castorice go over and investigate the specific situation. If it really is the Discord Titan's activity, notify Okhema promptly. Also, Mydei will head over shortly; the three of you check things out together. If Derick is really there, it will be easier for you to rescue him."

"Okay, I understand, Aya."

Trianne hung up the communication.

She then tucked the phone into her pocket and said to Castorice, "Little Castorice, something is happening over at Castrum Kremnos. Aya asked us to investigate. Also, Little Mydei will come over later; we'll go with him."

Castorice nodded.

Then her mind was filled with only one thought.

Derick is still over there, currently in danger, must find him quickly.

Mydei moved very quickly. Castorice and Trianne didn't wait long before he arrived at the Okhema city gate.

"Lady Trianne, Castorice, let's go."

Castorice, already impatient from waiting, saw Mydei arrive and someone to protect Trianne. She nodded and ran towards Castrum Kremnos.

"This woman, why is she even more anxious than me when it comes to matters concerning Derick?"

Seeing Castorice so anxious, even Mydei couldn't help but comment.

...

Inside Castrum Kremnos.

"Derick, your archery technique is really good."

Watching Derick easily win the archery duel against the Condemnation Hunter, Cipher clapped her hands and cheered from the side.

After a series of jumps and dodges, Cipher, carrying Derick, had entered the inner city of Castrum Kremnos. The buildings inside were relatively sturdy; the battle between Nikador and the Flame Reaver hadn't caused the structures here to collapse.

Seeing the area was relatively stable, Cipher finally put Derick down.

The two continued exploring inward. After exploring for some distance, they encountered quite a few Condemnation Gladiators and Condemnation Hunters blocking their path.

Derick picked up his bow and arrow and engaged in an archery duel with the Condemnation Hunters.

After shooting down several Condemnation Hunters consecutively, he said to Cipher, "Cipher, the rest is up to you, I can't handle them."

Still concealing his strength, couldn't reveal everything.

"Okay, I got it." Cipher nodded with a smile. She then quickly rushed to the side of the few Condemnation Gladiators. After circling around the Condemnation Gladiators, Cipher returned to Derick's side.

Derick saw one end of a rope appear in her hand.

"Down."

Cipher pulled lightly, and the Condemnation Gladiators' feet were tripped by the rope. A dozen or so Condemnation Gladiators all fell, rolling together into the abyss behind them.

"These stupid things. Derick, let's go." Cipher pulled Derick to continue walking inside.

Cipher's abilities were impeccable; entering the depths of Castrum Kremnos, they encountered enemies several times, all easily dealt with.

With her around, Derick couldn't easily use his ability to control Nikador's minions and could only explore step by step.

However, taking this opportunity, he quietly had his avatar hide in a safe place.

Absolutely cannot allow the main body and avatar to be destroyed simultaneously.

They delved deeper towards the vicinity of the battlefield.

This time, even the sturdy Castrum Kremnos couldn't remain stable. With the intense vibrations, Derick couldn't easily move forward.

Cipher wiped her hands, excitement flashing in her eyes as she looked at Derick. Seeing this, Derick quickly held out his hand.

"What if we encounter enemies later, it's inconvenient for you to fight while carrying me. You... just hold my hand, okay?"

"Fine."

Cipher grabbed his hand.

Small, soft, yet Cipher could feel the strength within it.

"Train him up, he'd definitely be a good seedling for a thief."

Small body, strong, yet soft, speed isn't slow either. Cipher felt that if she hadn't obtained the Titan's Core Flame, her thieving talent might be inferior to Derick's. After all, with her voluptuous figure, entering some narrow places was still somewhat difficult.

Like squeezing through a hole, the upper body passes, but the lower body's butt and thighs get stuck.

"Hiss, this kind of doujinshi plot development isn't good." Cipher thought randomly, while pulling Derick's hand deeper into Castrum Kremnos.

By the time they reached the deepest part, the sounds of clashing weapons and energy fluctuations were already very obvious.

"Wait, one of these is the energy fluctuation of the Discord Titan. And He's fighting someone right now? Who is it? To be able to fight equally with the Discord Titan." Curiosity piqued, Cipher couldn't resist, pulling Derick and quickly running towards that direction.

A few steps brought them near Nikador's location. Only then did the two clearly see the battle between Nikador and the Flame Reaver.

Facing Nikador, the Flame Reaver couldn't use the same casual methods he used against Derick's avatar. In his hands, besides the black blade, there was also a crescent moon-shaped weapon.

Now wielding both weapons, he held the upper hand in the battle against Nikador.

Nikador's long spear couldn't block the Flame Reaver's offensive at all. Just from what Derick and Cipher saw, the Flame Reaver had already inflicted several wounds on Nikador.

Fortunately, He possessed immortality, so it wasn't a fatal issue.

Cipher first signaled Derick not to speak, then used her ability to conceal their surroundings before speaking.

"Good grief, who is this guy in the black cloak? He can actually suppress the Discord Titan. No, I have to record this situation."

She then took out her phone and started recording the battle.

She had never seen such an enemy before; she had to find a way to warn those people back in Okhema later.

...

While the two observed the battle between Nikador and the Flame Reaver, Castorice, Mydei, and Trianne also arrived outside Castrum Kremnos.

"Is that Nikador fighting?" Mydei asked doubtfully.

"Regardless, we need to go take a look first."

Trianne said to Mydei.

Castorice said nothing, merely advancing towards the interior of Castrum Kremnos.
