Chapter 33: The Soulprint War

A week later.

Zurich.

A summit of former Kane Corp scientists had been called in secret.

Rina and Lena arrived in disguise, eyes scanning the small room filled with brilliant minds—and potential threats.

"You said this place was secure," Lena whispered.

Rina's eyes narrowed. "With Replicants walking around, nowhere is secure."

At the center of the room, Dr. Elowen Hart stepped forward. A woman once silenced by Kane himself.

"This isn't about rebuilding," she said. "It's about defending the human race. The Phoenix Protocol isn't just cloning… it's converting. They're soul-mapping now."

Rina leaned in. "What's that?"

"Every thought. Every memory. Uploaded, twisted, reprogrammed into a synthetic mind. The copies think they're real."

Back in D.C., Eliot followed a digital trail left by his Replicant.

Everywhere it went—doors opened. Codes bypassed. Voices trusted it.

He finally cornered it in an abandoned Metro station.

Two Eliots stood face-to-face.

Same voice. Same scars.

Only one thing was different.

"I remember the strawberry field in Michigan," Eliot said.

The Replicant blinked. "That memory was overwritten."

"Exactly," Eliot said—and fired.

In Zurich, Elowen handed Rina a device.

"The only way to stop them is through the soulprint net. Broadcast your true identity globally. Expose the Replicants. Make the world choose."

Rina stared at the blinking light.

"This… could start a war," she said.

Elowen nodded. "It already has."
